Eiryn did not like the idea of leaving her daughter unattended for long periods of time but this journey had to be made in her mind. Her mind ran over possibilities of disasters that could befall Aibhlinn but she had not left her daughter truly alone as one might think. Eiryn had made an arrangement with a Soquili to just keep an eye on Linn. There was no other solution to the dilemma besides that. There was an exchange of payment and Eiryn had sauntered off quickly in the direction of the altar of the Wishing Star. She brushed pieces of her mane out of her eyes as her wings opened and she took flight.

Winging her way through the darkening sky Eiryn thought back to the small joys that she had been blessed with. Her Aibhlinn continued to grow stronger each day and was full of energy and life that Eiryn found contagious. Somehow the idea of parenting that she had held in her mind differed from the reality of the whole situation. The first thrill was hearing Linn call her mom. That had filled Eiryn with a joy so profound. That memory was one that Eiryn would cherish forever.

Humming more to herself than anything the mare checked her trajectory and altered her course before spotting the familiar landscape below. Angling her body towards the ground Eiryn landed on the hill midway up the incline and quickly moved to stand at the top. All the offerings seemed to have been scattered around and Eiryn sighed before picturing the night that she had come to make a wish. No words were spoken that night but now she felt that she had to say something. The position of the stars had changed so Eiryn merely glanced at a random star and spoke softly. "I know that you are not the star I wish to actually 'talk' to but I feel that you act nicely as a stand in in this case. I wanted to address the Wishing Star and offer my gratitude for it sending me my little Aibhlinn. I never realized that being a parent could be so rewarding. I will continue to watch over Linn and be an excellent mother. I feel though that I need to offer more for my wish than just flowers."

Eiryn paused and gently stepped over another stray offering. Her gaze narrowed on the hill and the mare got a spark of an idea. "I believe that I could return here for a while and clear up this place. Would that be alright?" There was no real way of knowing if labor was the right idea but Eiryn could tend to the hill altar and make sure that the pathway and surrounding space could be free of debris. Items could be moved around easily and items that were organic in nature disposed of.

Lying down at the base of the hill Eiryn let her eyes close for a nap. She would start on the task after her rest. There was no doubt in her mind that this was a service that no one else had thought of providing for the Wishing Star.
