Tera was sitting cross legged on his bed, one of his magical tomes sitting open on his lap... though instead of studying the book he was nodding off. It was a nice enough day, one in which his parents had gone out for a double date with another couple, leaving him alone to study. It was nice and quiet and Tera found himself really tempted to sneak off, at least until it started to rain. A nice rain though, that had a pleasant and calming sound to it, something that soon had him dozing off midway through his studies on water based magic. A nap wasn't as fun as sneaking off might be, but it was still something to be enjoyed, especially when it was his idea and not his mother insisting that he needed a nap because she still thought him a child that needed such things.
As he dozed his open window became a veritable open door to a trio of creatures that wanted to get out of the rain. The three alola peeked into the room, spotting that the only person within was sleeping, before skittering inside. They shook off the water that clung to their colorful skin before they set to wandering around the room in a curious manner. One of them climbed up Tera's dresser, knocking over a stack of books, another went skittering under his bed, exploring what was under it, while the third one just climbed up the wall so that it could hang off the ceiling upside down. Overall the lot of them seemed to be having fun now that they had gotten themselves inside.
It was only after a few things were knocked over that Tera started to stir a little bit. His eyes opened for a moment, looking around the room, before fluttering shut again... then snapped open as everything seemed to click. Jerking up to his feet, his water tome hitting the ground, he found himself starring at two of the alola who were out in the open, "Ah... W-What in the...?" He turned his head from side to side, a confused looked on his face, before his eyes fell upon the window, then back again, "Alright, it's time to go back outside. The last thing I need is for my mother to come home and find the lot of you in here." He told them, walking toward the one sitting on his dresser, meaning to pick the creature up so that he could toss it back out the window... but without luck.
The moment he got close it went rushing away from him, stopping when it was just out of Tera's reach. The Matori man blinked a couple time then said, "Hey... come on! You're not supposed to be in room." After scolding the creature he sped up, hoping that he'd be able to catch it before it knocked anything else over. As he did so another one came out from the under the bed, racing between Tera's feet, causing him to trip over the creature. Tera went flailing through the air, landing on his hands and knees, while the alola went racing off in different directions. Sighing a little he looked around a moment, "Alright, then there are three of them?" He murmured, a thought that was given sarcastic praise from the voice in his head about his ability to count to three. Pushing himself back to his feet, brushing himself off as he did so, "Ha ha, of course I can count to three... one of them was just hiding!"
None of them were hiding anymore, instead two of them were climbing the walls, while the other one was stuck to the ceiling. It wasn't something that was going to make this any easier to catch them and toss them out he thought to himself. The voice in his head was kind enough to suggest him using his magic to 'deal with' the alola, a suggestion that caused Tera's eyes to go wide, his cheeks going a little pale, "I am not going to do that! I don't want to hurt them!" He gasped out, shaking his head rapidly at the mere thought. They were just innocent animals that wanted to get out of the rain! Innocent animals that were knocking everything over, animals that were going to have Tera's mother yelling and complaining if they were still around when she got back. A thought that neither Tera nor the voice in his head really liked the sound of... meaning that Tera really had to figure out how to get them back outside.
He supposed that his magic could be useful, not to harm the creatures, but to at least help toss them out. He could use his wind magic to blow them back out the window, right? Alright, time to get serious!
