Its finally happened... Zaribe has truly found his soul mate.
Now he's off to find the perfect gift for his beloved, something that she will cherish and respect him for. So any soquili is welcome to help his search.

*Highlight for details*

Plot: Zaribe wants to get his mate a gift. So he went to Celendria for an answer, which she gave him a basket. She told him to go out and meet others and ask for a gift to contribute to Tic Tac. Only then will he know which is the best (all of them will be given, but don't tell him).

Goal: He is to gather as many items as possible that fit in the basket. Could be almost anything from flowers to shells, to feathers. It just has to fit in the basket.

Requirement: What I need is 4-5 RP posts or less from a soquili offering a gift. You must include a picture of what you offer or even a drawing, as long as it fits inside. Please post an image of your soquili as well.

Outcome: Zaribe will learn that doing things alone isn't always the way, and he'll meet many friends in his quest.

As his great wings pushed him in fell swoops through the clouds, the parrot stallion pondered just what would be fitting for his Sunny rainbow. So many things pulsed in his thriving mind with images as brilliant as the colors that painted and formed his mate.

So, just what should he find for her? A beautiful shell from the vast ocean containing many forms of life and treasure, or a flower that bloomed bright and gorgeous to accent her mane and figure? Oh whatever would he bring back when everything seemed just right for her he sighed with another wing beat. Turning toward the horizon he followed the sky till it melted with the trees pondering an idea. If anyone from his knowledge could suggest a wondrous idea... it was Celendria whom so nicely invited him to live there with her mismatched herd.

Descending toward the ground he tossed his head landing decently with all four hooves upon the ground. Flicking his braided tail he walked slowly looking around the place. Tirranna was standing idly by cooking some sort of dinner in that weird pot hanging strangely over the fire. The smell of the food, cooked or not, was quite inviting. But, he himself wasn't forgetting Tic because his stomach grumbled with a ferocious hunger like usual.

Walking slower he gazed around for the one that shone of the wintry days, a sculpture that radiated in the sun's warm gaze. Her whole form was lithe and limber with such elegance in her words and motions. She stood off further toward the clearing, perhaps meditating to herself as a river of silver white silk swayed in a lucid fashion behind her.

Forgetting that grumbling his stomach so ignorantly protested he bypassed the food addressing the icy mare.

"Celendria. You're looking quite radiantly today, " he grinned with that silly manner accompanied by a wink, "I need your help please". He spoke in such an excited tone with his expression almost urgent.

Rein_Carnation
Celendria turned her head gently to the side as her cerulean eyes gazed upon the striking red hue of the parrot based stallion. He'd always been the sort to beg, even follow after others if food was present, but for some strange reason he didn't heed nor halt to the smell of the sweetness cooking in the pot.

Interesting.

His words were fickle yet carried an urgency, almost devoted intent to them. Of course she'd assist him in any way she could. Smiling she stood quite intently gazing upon him before her muzzle uttered a sound, "Help? Why Zaribe of course I'll help you... What is it that you desire?" She waited patiently wondering if he would release a torrent of requests or perhaps one single one for he was a stallion of many capabilities. But the one thing that caught her eye as he flexed his wing, was the strange new tattoo painted upon his rump. That which depicted a parrot like himself flying over a brilliantly curved rainbow. Ah, now it was making sense to her as her soft eyes smiled back at him.

Seemed he'd chosen a mate which the owner of the mare firmly agreed upon. My, how the herd like the seasons was always changing to something new and wonderful.

Rein_Carnation
Zaribe noted that she had finally seen his new artwork and made sure to display it proudly with a wiggle of his rump, followed by a toss of his head. He was quite proud to say he'd found a mate, one that made him strut and preen with such deliberation.

"Oh great... I knew you would," he chatted quite fast with a laugh seeping in his words of silliness, "See I have a mate now and I need help". He tossed his head, practically paced in place eager to tell the soon-to-be elder of his predicament.

"I need to find the most special, unique, wondrous, fantastic, simply out of this world present for my Sunny rainbow. So I need your help because you'd know what she'd like and all". He watched her with a glimmer in those deep brown orbs searching for the answer. She just had to know since she was well Celendria right?

Rein_Carnation
Celendria chuckled listening to the fluttering of love as they puffed from his chest so dominantly. Something that would be fitting for a lovely new bride, a token of love that would make her remember him for ages to come. There simply was so many ideas that it could make one's head buzz with excitement. But, finding something perfect tool expertise and knowledge of the other in question. To not know their dislikes or favorite things was quite difficult... but she had a brilliant idea.

"Hmmm, " she started with a radiant smile looking around her, "This will be quite tricky, but I do have a solution that will help you".

Walking in her cool headed fashion of serene grace and elegance she headed toward the teepee bobbing her head as she went along. She could feel his presence as he followed her closely wondering just what answer she'd give him. Ohh a pendent, or a necklace, an apple, or even a shell. What would it be she could hear him thinking. She smiled as her head inserted in the teepee flap reaching inward. Finally she found just what she was searching for. Tirranna wouldn't mind him taking one, for now anyways.

Rein_Carnation
Zaribe waited anxiously to see what Celendria was pondering, though his ears swiveled and fell strangely limp at the sight before him. What she carried was a wicker typebasket constructed of Tirranna's own handiwork adorned with handle.

"Is this the most perfect gift... I don't understand" he murmured trying to understand what an old basket had to do with surprising his mate. He blinked, staring at it for another round before he looked directly at her.

Celendria moved the handle just right so she could speak clearer to him, "No Zaribe. What this is, this basket is the start of your quest to find the most perfect gift to compliment your new mate. As we all learn in life things must be sought for by the very ones that have come seeking advice. Go and meet with other soquili and accept their assistance in whatever gifts they offer". She smiled handing over the basket to him. "Once you have met enough soquili to fill this basket, you will know which is the perfect gift for your Sunny Rainbow." Pausing she took a breath to speak one last word of advice to the anxious stallion, "And remember, Everything should fit nicely in your basket. Nothing too large should be considered. When you feel you've found the perfect thing... show me."

She then stepped back letting the stallion ponder where to start. If he was truly dedicated, then he'd find enough to fill the basket and realize which was the most special gift.

Watching her stand there he thought for a moment then lightened with a grin. Celendria was testing him to see if he truly loved Tic. Well he was quite serious and decided that he'd prove to the elder that he was capable of accomplishing this task. Nothing would stand in his way of finding something amazing for her...

And so began Zaribe's quest of finding the perfect gift for his beloved....

Rein_Carnation
As the stallion traveled on along he had a good notion of a gift to start off this little quest, the delicious aroma of the sugarplums. Ah the memory of sharing a sweet treat with the one he was falling in love with, such a sweet feeling knowing she really did like him. Picking up his pace he graced a presence of red plumage melted in blues and golds to gaze upon those fruitful groves. Spying a little figure with her head directly in the leaves of the furthest tree, he grinned with a new found happiness. If he explained his situation, she was sure to offer one in his defense... or maybe a second even. Ah, best to hope on one for now.

So stepping forward he placed the basket upon the ground speaking as clear as he could, "Shaylee... how wonderful you're looking today? Checking on your Sugarplums I see" he commented, not realizing it was her rump that the great stallion was watching wiggle back and forth.

A little delicate lavender head quickly poked out of the darker leaves gazing back at the parrot stallion. Smirking she flitted her wings, pulling her upwards to gently land than place herself on a branch. Perking her ears she let her hooves gently glove the branch while her hindquarters nestled snugly, holding her in place. Curled tresses on her neck and down her rump shifted and moved with the coming fall breezes.

"O ho hohoho... Come back to beg have we?" she grinned with an almost birdlike manner in her chirped laughter, "Where's your girlfriend parrot boy?"

She waited wondering why he'd come without such a pretty mare. Perhaps he was out finding something by the looks of his basket. Say... why did he have one anyway, was he looking for a feast? It had better be good, whatever his excuse was.

Rein_Carnation
Zaribe always knew that his mooching had been his downfall, but he really did love to snack and begging for it was his forte. But this time it was different, he had a reason to ask with Celendria's task. So he smiled with his ever famous grin and decided to be truthful, for that was something he was trying very hard to know practice.

"Suspicious as always aren't we?," hes smirked with his tongue sticking out. No, he was going to be honest about this, "She's waiting for me back at her two-leggers place. No. I'm on a great quest and I need your help Shaylee. Only you can help me start it," he noted gazing at a shining fruit above him, "This isn't for me mind you."

Rein_Carnation
Shaylee watched him carefully, shocked that his words actually may have carried truth to the whole thing. For a moment as a cool breeze seemed to shift her back and forth in her quiet meditation, she sat deadly still pondering something. Then she spoke with a twinkle in her eye as her pretty butterfly wings flitted the remaining sunshine that hid within the trees back at him.

"Sure. One or two? Heck a whole tree for that pretty girl. She sure did love my Sugarplums didn't she?," peering at the basket she frowned, "Oh well a couple possibly since I think you need other stuff in there parrot boy. Ya know like pretty trinkets and such to make her go ooh and aah and all that. You'll see... she'll love you a looooooooooong time".

Grinning she stood up and flitted towards the ground, playfully hopping off the branch to look up at him before she scurried off to another tree removing a few fruits before she returned to him.

"Save at least two for her and you may have the rest," she grinned trotting over to the basket, while placing them inside "Seems you have a long way to go before you are finished... Good Luck with that".

She then wiggled her rump and flitted off towards another tree, disappearing deeply within the branches, while a few rustles were heard.

Zaribe grinned as the saliva filled his mouth. "Nope. Later I'll eat... more things huh?" craning his head down he picked up the basket in his mouth then turned toward the right a little. "Hey Shaylee thanks. I'll be sure and tell Tic you helped me with your wonderful Sugarplums."

And as the wind rustled, he swore he heard a quaint little giggle escape from that tree she was somewhere buried within. Now it was time to find another gift and really make her remember him.

He watched her curiously wondering his his sincerity was enough to convince her, besides the fact that the basket did carry Celendria's scent upon it as well. He was determined to find something, anything that his Sunny rainbow would love and remember him by.

Lunadriel-
Ayelet stood staring up at the night sky. Her tail hung softly on a gentle breeze, and a few curls of hair spread over her face. It was hard to keep on the move, she seemed to always be distracted by the sky. As long as there was something up there to see, she would find happiness in far from the ground.

Tuning one ear to the side, she thought there might be someone approaching her. Her gaze stayed fixed on the stars. It would take the voice of another, to break her trance.

Lunadriel-
A melodic cord rung through her ears. Holding her head to the stars, she took in a deep breath, almost as if she was saving the image in her mind. Swinging her head to one side, she smiled in the direction of the stallions deep voice.

"Well.." her velvet voice answered, as she briefly filled her eyes with his splendor of red. "I must say, good evening to you too."

What's more, he had bird like limbs adorning his sides. They were massive, and could no doubt carry him through the sky. Her eyes swam with magnetism, staring now, at his feathery hues of red, yellow, and blue. Her body turned to match her craned neck.

Her mouth softly worded one word, wow.

Trying her best to lose her stare, she broke off with the ring of her name. "I am Ayelet Hashachar. Might I ask you your name Sir?" And as if it hadn't been there before, she finally saw the basket he was carrying. Her head tilted quizzically to the side, as if in wonder, as to what it was for.

He wasn't going to lie and say her coat wasn't alluring as they reflected in those deep browns, a mystical sunset that radiated like the coming of night. She must equally think of a painted parrot stallion in the same effect, different and curious.

Lowering his head he grinned introducing himself with a spread of his wings for show, "Zaribe of the Jungle. A pleasure Ayelet Hashachar, may I call you Ayelet?".

Placing the basket upon the ground a sound of 4 rolling fruit tumbled deep within. He'd snacked on one counting the excess, sure that two remained as instructed from the lively miniature equine. Her wings always reminded him of a butterfly, light and extremely delicate, yet she could out fly almost anything.

This included the parrot male in that equation.

He noted her interest in the basket, smiling with a new found hope. Now his mind wandered as his words announced themselves without hesitation. "I'm on a quest, that's what the basket is for," he noted grinning while his chest puffed out proudly.

Eying her curiously he pondered his next question carefully, "You look like someone that could decide on something beautiful, Am I right? I need to find a gift befitting of my mate, one that is the most perfect idea ever thought of, " his words flowing now as quickly as his anticipation, "Do you have an idea what I could give her? I must fill this basket with many things before I can return."

There he'd spoken his request as his eyes settled, melting into those beautiful hues in her coat. Wondering curiously what idea she would grace him with, something perfect and fitting for his lovely mate.

Lunadriel
Her heart could of skipped a beat, in rhythm to his wings being spread. He was magnificent alright. She found him attractive in every way. Even the sound of his name completed his look.

"You may indeed, call me as you wish...Zaribe." she almost blushed.

She watched with intent, as four purple orbs bounced around in the basket. They rolled to a stop as the basket rested on the ground. "A quest?" she answered, and then listened for him to explain more.

Even though she had just met him, a tinge of disappointment was felt at the mention of a mate. She didn't think twice about it, for he was taken. Yet, she had an idea, of how the mare might begin to feel, towards Zaribe. This time she did blush, with the offer to help give a gift for his lady.

Silent for a moment, she hung her head. When she was about to admit, she had no such gifts, her eyes came across a feather on the ground. It was a beautiful feather, filled with the true blue in Zaribe and his wings.

Ayelet felt a pull of happiness in the corner of her eyes. Who could ask for anything more? Without lifting her head, she walked over near his side, and scooped the feather gingerly into her mouth. She then looked up, searching for his gaze.

As if time itself had tried to stop, she slowly walked towards the basket. Her offering, or his rather, she placed against the side of the basket. It was his choice whether to accept it, was it not?

"I am convinced, that this single feather holds more beauty, than any item I could ever give you. It may be only a feather, perhaps to you, but to me, it captures a hint of everything that you are. You are her Painted Parrot, after all." Ayelet's words were filled with hope. The feather would hold more meaning to his "her" than it ever could for anyone else.

A feather of beautiful blue and gold stood predominant within her muzzle. Ah, Tic loved his feathers so much on days they were together. Of course many more would probably adore her mane and tail showing off the splendor and creativity of a scarlet macaw stallion.

As she placed it in the basket he felt a sense of knowledge flood his preoccupied brain of possible things Tic would come to receive as future gifts. Anything from their time together, possible memories, even a flood of colors depicting them both were enough to form one single gift. He also started pondering why Celendria had made him quest by the means of other soquili he'd not known or realized roamed these lands.

There was more than meets the eye for him to ponder right at that moment. No matter, he had meet a wonderful mare whom soon he had to part ways in order to fulfill his quest. But, memories of those he was in contact with with always stick with him like his own plumage that set upon his large deepset wings. Even though he'd pluck a few, he still had many more to remain in place.

"Painted parrot. I like that," he responded with a deep grin as his eyes set deeply upon her. He turned to look upon the painting that displayed proudly upon his rump for all to see.

"Thank you Ayelet, I hope someday that we will cross paths once more, and maybe Tic will get to meet you as well. I'm sure she'll want to thank you for the gift you helped me with."

Nodding his head on last time he picked up the basket and spread his wings in an array of a fantastic primary rainbow. Kicking off the ground he soared in the sky, basket griped firmly in his muzzle.

Sugarplums and a feather now where key components to his quest. What else would he find, or who would he meet in this journey he pondered. Whomever the case was... he was excited to find out and continue what he had set out to do.

Rein_Carnation
Zaribe traveled onward flicking his ears back and forth in the night as the moon hung heavy next to him in flight. Her brilliance illuminating the stallion's golds, red, and blues as his wings propelled him gracefully through the mist-like clouds.

A familiar scent beckoned to him, the salty chill and excitement of water stretching far across the world far below. He adored the sea, rolling playfully in Peru colored sands that supplied the most perfect itch. But, being with Zikeria was one thing he truly missed, two peas in the same pod or nest rather. She may have tainted, even scolded him some days, but her laughter and funny sense of humor is what drove that bad things further away.

So, descending into a dive he swooped downward into that painted land of the sinking earth as it gave way gradually beneath his fine set hooves. He tossed his head gazing at the forever lying ocean as swept outwards and back again leaving his hooves and fetlocks damped with a salty tingling.

Were there any soquili about or would he be able to pluck something that caught his interest from the shifting water as she gifted things upon the shoreline for a few moments, gradually taking them back once more into her ever changing form. It amused him to see things that might of worked in the form of a gift, only to disappear in the frothy sea foam as if it were teasing him. No matter though, for he enjoyed this game immensely.

As the tide swept inward and outward a usual figure stood basking in the swift water as she bellowed against him. May thoughts set firmly in his mind, including a maiden that had come from the ocean that reigned within the sky. She was indeed a wave that could never be tamed, but her memories had never left his thoughts. It was sad when she faded away, but water was a fickle thing which he himself knew well.

Her words, "Trust in mother," always stayed with him as he watched the rising and settling of the tide, often wondering if she was correct that water children were safe from the wrath of Eternity. Still, it was fickle and unknown and he dared not accept that fact that things were simply built and formed because one said so. Eternity, the mother of all creation was indeed loving and gracious, but with any deity you dare not overstep her kindness. For if you took things way too much there certainly was a consequence that lied deeply in those soft spoken words.

His eyes caught a glimpse of something descending upon his shores, a red hued streak tined with golds and blues. He knew it wasn't the maiden, for she blended almost seamless with the mother herself.

No, this was a stallion that had arrived by the cerulean sea high above.

Flicking his ears his waited to see why another had arrived at this lonely place he now realized was more imprisonment than a paradise. Not once would he ever betray his mother by leaving, but stay by her side through his days. Many others had spoken in times of having mates as they strode side by side along the sandy shores, and roamed back into the outskirts of the land he knew nothing about. He'd try so hard to wonder about what other things there were, but his heart lied with the Sea and her restlessness. It would be a rare thought that he'd even think of taking one to roam and frolic by his side. Maybe one day he would... but for now why had this brightly colored male come to his world Mizu wondered.

Rein_Carnation
At first Zaribe didn't see the massive stallion that appeared as a wave himself standing there so still breathing inward and outward.

When he did notice the Sea stallion his eyes widened with curiosity, for there was indeed another that lived within this world he so enjoyed playing within. Stallions were unpredictable, yet Zaribe wondered if this one could help him by chance.

So, throwing caution to the wind he started slowly carrying the basket firmly within his mouth.

When he did indeed reach him, the parrot stallion was mesmerized at the deepness that lied within this stallion's coat. He blended so well with the ocean herself that even the strange markings upon his body seemed very much like waves that rose and fell over him. Breathtaking. Zaribe couldn't help but smile as his rump felt a bit itchy where the painting lied. Remembering that it wasn't exactly permanent he strayed a bit from the sea as she tried splashing against his sides.

Tilting his head he placed the basket gently upon the ground before he spoke, for he wanted to be clear and able to be heard as the roar of the ocean now purred deeply in her restlessness.

"Ah hello there great one of the Sea.... I wonder if you could lend me a thought of your time?" he queried with his eyes still setting upon the great stallion composed of water and frothy foam.

Rein_Carnation
Mizu snorted as the sea foam tickled his nose taking in the scarlet, blue, and gold that stood before him. His mane and tail blowing furiously, lapping at the water that splashed against him, though silken in appearance as they shone like a reflection in the deep waters.

His ears swiveled listening deeply to the other stallion wondering what ploy he regressed and asked openly for. Strange a sky dweller would even ask of his help, but curiosity did intrigue him. Noting the basket the water was lapping at, the stallion saw four strange fruits and a feather nestled gently inside. Odd, that this red male would have such peculiar things in a strange basket.

"Welcome to the reach of my mother's land," the deep creature spoke, his voice long and loud with a addition of proud allure. "I am Mizu and I shall in curiosity help you with what I can."

His watched the other whom seemed so lively under the silvery light of the great light that shone upon both the Sea and himself. He also noted the brightly colored tattoo that existed upon the winged's rump. A picture of a rainbow, banded colors stretching into his fur with a bird that looked very much like the red winged himself.

Rein_Carnation
Zaribe coughed forgetting his manners all of a sudden.

"I am Zaribe of the jungle. Thank you for taking time to listen to my ploy," he noted with a deep bow of his finely built head.

He was still fascinated that two, make that three soquili were coming to his aid.

"My quest is a simple one, granted by an elder-to-be of the herd I roam. I'm to find a gift for my beloved mate, a very special one that says "I love you"."

He grinned quite proudly saying these words, imagining back in a time of when he himself was too foolhardy to even consider devotion and dedication to one he'd spend his life with.

"All I ask of you is to help me find a gift that would be fitting for my Sunny Rainbow. One that would make her eyes lighten and remember me for all time."

He stood there, his eyes gazing in depth on those massive swirls as they turned and straightened on the other's form. If he did indeed live at this place, one that carried so many wonders, then surely there was something he could contribute that would be in honor of his mate.

Rein_Carnation
As the silvery aura hung over his head he noted something that shifted and settled near his feet. It shone like a peacock, the colors simply bright and beautiful. If the other's mate was a sunny rainbow, then colors reflected of herself and Zaribe would be a perfect gift. Leaning his head down he snatched it up as the water was seeping backward, cleansing the beautiful shell of all sandy deposits before placing it gently within the deep basket. Wrapped around the shell was a bit of seaweed as if wrapped and placed that way.

Stepping backwards he smiled proudly though it was quite hard to tell that's what he had done.

"A gift my mother has granted you in your ploy bold one that flies with the massive ocean above this one. Shining in essence of both I feel that it is a gift befitting for the one your heart has spoken for."

He nodded to the other turning to gaze outward at the forever moving waves before he spoke once more, "She moves onward always, though her love is always present if you always remember she is mother to us all". He turned one last time to face the scarlet winged with a deep nod of his proud set head, "May you find what you seek, and make the one you've chosen forever content and loved".

He then stepped out into the waves and seemed to disappear as his coat melted into the deepness and majesty of the one he called mother.

Rein_Carnation
Zaribe noted the peacock type glistening that mirrored on the shell. He smiled thinking how now he wanted to bring her here, to show her one of his favorite places his heart was at peace at.

"Ooh thank you so much ahh Mizu," Now Sugarplums, a feather, and a beautiful shell were aided with his quest, "You've been such a great help to me. I'll be sure someday to bring Tic with me to your land."

He fell within the other stallion's words entranced that he was so deeply connected with the great sweeping body of water that now surrounded him. Spreading his wings, the great stallion bowed his head with a gracious en devour than resettled them upon his back. Leaning downward Zaribe picked up the basket and walked the opposite way, sure that the other had turned for a moment, his gaze following the deepened red stallion as he made his way down the shoreline.

Starla was walking alone in the land. Her mind full of Cuallyen words, she hadn't see him for long and she missed him. She stopped under a tree looking at the sky. It was a night like this one when they were together for the last time.
"Where are you now my beloved Cuallyen" her mind was flying far away. She even didn't see the stallion walking not far from where she was.

Zaribe had left the sandy land walking with high steps as his presents moved anxiously within the basket. he was beginning now to seek any soquili that roamed these lands in hopes of finding another to aid him.

Tilting his head as the morning was arriving he laid his eyes on a beautiful vision before him. White as snow with a finely built head she carried the most entrancing pink curled locks of silk he'd ever seen before. For a moment he contemplated Tic dressed in pretty roses as this mare was, and he grinned with a thought of how much he loved her. So it wasn't any surprise that he willingly approached this frail mare wondering if she could help him.

Lowering his head in an elegant bow, he spoke with his utmost respectable tone, "Good morning fair one of the roses. I am Zaribe of the jungle. May I ask you of your name so I may address you with proper respect?"

He watched her wondering what she was thinking about, and perhaps her soft voice would help him ponder yet another gift.

Lorako-
Starla almost not heard the stallion before he spoke. She was surprised first, and then even more surprised, in the good way, about the manner of this soquili. He spoke and acted like a gentleman, he didn't need much to catch Starla attention.
She bowed back with courtesy. "I'm Starla of Illusia Kingdom." she smiled gently, her voice was as soft as the roses on her hair. "Nice to meet you Zaribe of the jungle."

Jean Claude huffed looking around him. He had come too far this time. He wasn't normally around these parts. But he had company that he had found in Esperanza. Groaning as the sun touched his eyes, he looked back at the palomino mare.
She had dragged him thus far. He wasn't sure why he actually followed the mare that he never really saw much of anyway.. but maybe that's indeed why when she'd asked, he'd consented. But wait.. He looked back and narrowed an eye. What on earth did she have in her maw?
"Esperanza... Might I inquire about the item in your mouth?"

She looked at him, and cocked her head. Her creme mane falling around her face and neck.
Oh!
She blushed, dropping the small rock she had found.
"I found it in your cave Jean. I do hope you don't mind that I have.. retrieved it."
She looked at the golden, shiny rock and wasn't in the slightest sure how it was made.. But that didn't really matter too much.
"It would make the perfect gift for someone unsuspecting."

Zaribe beamed at how beautiful she was, as her hair and roses complimented her perfectly. She'd know of a decent gift, he was sure of it. Practicing with others, making himself more presentable and more of a gentleman was what he was loving about himself. A bird colored stallion learning how to approach others and become something more in their eyes. Perhaps, he thought to himself that is why Tic Tac Toe chose him over any other stallion out there.

Zaribe was growing with a better knowledge and wisdom.

Starla. He repeated her name in his mind quickly so he wouldn't soon be a birdbrain and forget.

"An honor to meet you miss Starla," he bowed his great head again with a sweep of his mane. "I'm on a quest for my beloved from the elder of the herd. Would you be able to help me?"

Describing what he needed along with Celendria's words, he waited to see if Starla did indeed have a suggestion possibly.

~Buffy

Zaribe was quite content with himself as he was learning things from the different faces he came in contact with. The naive, the curious, even the beautiful faces that roamed these lands stopped for a moment to offer assistance and help him in his quest. If he did indeed keep this up, why pretty soon the basket would be brimming with color and he'd be on his way homeward by now.

His stomach growled a moment as the sound of rolling fruit had captured his attention. Four fruit remained out of five. That meant that he could at least eat two more and still keep the last two for Tic Tac. Heaven forbid if he'd devour Shaylee's gift, she'd never forgive him, not in a million years. Sticking his head in the basket that he placed upon the ground, Zaribe indulged on the second one leaving three behind. If he did indeed plan on getting hungry, there had to be something else to replace that feeling than the remaining fruit within the basket.

Satisfied of his now sated appetite he looked around him then lifted the basket in his mouth. Now to find the next soquili in his path...

A stallion and a creme colored mare weren't too far off from his destination ahead of him. Why not talk with them and see if they could help fill the basket some more.

Jean huffed again.. This time at the wonders Esper always seemed to find in his cave.
"Youd do well to learn what's mine is yours.. But that doesn't mean things.. in my home."
He said, raising an eyebrow.
But his gaze got caught on a red figure coming closer. It was brightly colored. He wasn't sure if he'd ever SEEN something so oddly colored.

"Bonjour. Might I ask about your business here?"
Not rude. Just formal.

Esper smiled at Jeans comment to her, and looked ahead as he did. A lovely stallion stood to the front of them. He reminded her of her 'brother' Guilian. But he was much more colored than Guilian was.

She fwapped Jean with her tail as she looked back at the stranger.
"Hello!"

Zaribe smiled with a lowering of his head in a gradual sophisticated bow, or rather what felt right at the time. This time a tall stallion and a pretty light colored mare were open to his asking. The main thing he had to remember was this... don't overstay or overdo your welcome. It was something he had to remember in his sweeping bows that let the tips of his mane brush over the grass smoothly.

"I am Zaribe of the jungle. I am honored to meet the both of you on this glorious day, " he announced with a deepness that trailed from his maw. "I have been bestowed a quest from my elder and I seek a present for my mate whom I love so very much. Pray tell could either of you help me?"

He nodded thinking it was very well done and felt quite accomplished that something such as this quest could definitely better in in most ways. He then went on with his tale as he'd done countless times before.

Standing there with his basket placed neatly on the ground he waited for their answer eying the lovely items he was gathering for his Sunny Rainbow. The thought made him smile deeply.

Lorako-

Starla listened carefully what Zaribe had to say, she was always happy to help someone nice, not the stupid stubborn soquili she met and she much wanted to go away from them than speaking with them.
But this stallion was different and well educated, so he catches her attention.

"What a lovely idea, your mare is a lucky girl. I don't really know what gift will be perfect for her but i can give you one of my white rose to her." she tried to catch one of the white rose on her mane.

"It was not something big but i always thought white roses are perfect to show purity, why not the purity of your feelings for her." she smiled gently and finally picked one and gave it to him.

Jean raised and eyebrow. Gifts eh? Well, he had never been one for gifting anyone.. except when he was younger he gifted mares with his presence all the time.
But now.. Did he have anything to give?

"My name is Jean-Claude of the caves."

He looked about, glancing for something of any value. After all, he assumed it was the thought that counted, and even if there was a particular special blade of grass, it still could fit in the basket full of treats.

He felt a nudge, and looked at Esperanza who dropped her rock at his feet.
He offered a smile and pulled her mane gently as he bent down to scoot the rock closer to Zaribe.

"I hope this from my home shall do."

Then Esperanza smiled at the bright red creature, giving him a nod and a bright eyed grin.
"Its nice to meet you Zaribe! Dare I say, one lucky mare to have such a doting mate. Of course.. I need to think of something."
She said, looking around her body as Jean had done. Not for a blade of grass though, she carried a little satchel tied to her back that Anusha had given her.
Dropping it, she dug through for a moment before pulling out a lovely beaded necklace.

"I do hope this works. I'm afraid I don't own much to my name."

Zaribe watched her with wide eyes as she offered one of her very own personal roses that lie within those gorgeous curls of silken locks as they tumbled over her shoulder. How wonderful to express a gift than from your own self that you treasure mostly. Indeed a token of purity would be perfect as his love for her was as true as a rose is created white.

He smiled placing the flowery gift gently within the basket, placing it neatly between two stable objects. Now it would be safe from harm, though he'd have to be extra careful not to jolt the basket, or the gifts would get ruined.

Nodding his head upward he smiled deeply in gratitude to her. Even the smallest gift, be it plain or ornate was worth a million words and thoughts.

"Thank you Starla," he breathed with a bow of his head, "

I'm sure Tic will love your gift, and someday when our paths cross once more, I'd like her to meet you as she stands by my side."

Then with another smile he lifted the basket in his maw and walked slowly away convinced he'd see his mate very soon.

The thought of both of them offering a gift was music to his ears. Strangers he was meeting along the way were offering sediments and treasure worthy enough for one he adored to no end. His days of youth, playing with his sister high in the treetops back home never would of made him think that this new land would bring him such complete happiness.

Bending down he noted though the rock was very plain, it still shimmered in front of him. Tic was his light upon those days that blackness painted the sky and land when night arrived.

He cordially picked up the stone placing it softly with a gentle nudge of his velvety muzzle, then turned to the deep stallion, "Any gift that is from the heart shall bring joy to my Sunny Rainbow. I give you my deepest thanks for your aid."

He then watched the lighter mare showing his usual smile, which this time held a bit more restraint from his usual silliness. Perhaps this is what Celendria was making him see as he strove to return to his mate, a newer better stallion with a lot more patience and more refined nature. While he still had his moments of childish play, he was learning when to and not to express things to unwilling others. Heck even Rahu's mouth would drop to the ground at witnessing the evolution of the parrot.

When Esperenza brought out the beautiful necklace he smiled quite affectionatly knowing how well those colors would set off her beautiful coat. How could he not coo and express adoration for one as lovely as his mate.

"She is indeed, "he proudly agreed with a nod of his head bobbing with happiness, "And your gift as well shall make her shine like a beautiful rainbow, not that she isn't gorgeous to begin with mind you." Yeah as I said before he had his moments, so this one wasn't any different than the others. It simply was Zaribe showing his love for one so befitting to be called his soul mate.

Taking the necklace from the pretty mare, he placed it as well into the basket. Now it looked even more fuller than it had before.

Soon Tic.... Soon I'll be home. Wait for me

Looking one last time in the basket, he smiled raising his head to look upon the two standing before him. Bowing with a great sweep of his colored make he lowered his head, " I do hope someday that you both will be able to meet my mate, for she will want to thank you for all you've done."

Lowering his head once more he retrieved the basket and walked way towards the grassier plain outstretched before him. So many things, so many places that he would visit, and yet his heart never wavered from his quest. No matter what hunger, what desire he was feeling, his heart lied with one true goal.

With a flit of her wings she fanned herself gracefully. What a beautiful day this was turning out to be. She'd found things that shimmered and sparkled, yet her heart desired more.

Tossing her long well kept mane she looked eagerly toward the meadow area that harbored large rocks here and there and endless grass that waved lazily like a river of emerald. Almost like the ocean in a calm and smooth movement, that's what she thought.

Ready to raise into the air she heard the thunder of deeper hooves as they sunk and released from the dirt beneath them. Strangely this one had become familiar now a days staying near her side to wherever she roamed. Letting a smile paint delicately on her small face, the little flutter spoke, "Well its about time you get here. You know there's treasure waiting out there right?" Smiling she winked at him as her wings showered the stallion with an array of glittering green, painting all over his large form.

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.

Tossing his great head he watched the younger mare that always was smaller than he'd ever pictured one. She called herself a flutter, which was supposed to be a smaller soquili race supposedly. He didn't mind really for she was quite pretty... stopping short he tossed his head again.

Oi yuuri... Don't be thinking like that, she'll think I'm just out to win her affections or something. Nope treasure hunting is what we're here for. Heh beats being out there alone doesn't it?

"Yeah I got a little sidetracked... sorry," he looked a bit embarrassed though in his mouth he carried a velvety sack, "The magical adventurer's pouch for m'Lady, as she has requested." He grinned tossing it to her raising a right fore than stomped it heavily back down.

Feena smirked zipping upward to catch the pouch, "Alright treasure we're going to find you. Ready oh Sir Yuuri?" she giggled feeling like a child again, yet her heart was aging and mind as well. She loved a good hunt, if only her prize be something extraordinary.

"Alright then lets...," she paused noticing the giant red beast descending towards them, his wings so brightly colored her heart nearly ceased to beat. Blinking she shook her head, "Wait a minute Yuuri. I think we have a visitor, looks like a brightly colored bird."

Zaribe landed not too far from them carrying his precious treasure in his mouth as he neared the two new Soquili. One was Shaylee's size (must be a flutter) and the other was a winged dressed in odd clothes and had the largest furry fetlocks the parrot had ever witnessed before.

The things that caught his keen eyes were her large shimmering wings and the stallion's blue pendent that reflected her very light that harnessed the sun's rays.

Shaking his own head he sat the basket down before he spoke, "I'm Zaribe of the Jungle. It is an honor to meet two very interesting Soquili. Never have I imagined how beautiful a flutters wings could be or how bold and handsome a stallion of my race could be. I thank you both for that honor." He then bowed with his sweeping mane of colors before rising once more.

Feena looked at Zaribe smiling with a softness upon her face.

What a charming stallion, he even knows something special when he sees it.

Yuuri also watched the parrot and felt a bit embarrassed. He never thought himself to be handsome of all things, but here this stranger was complimenting them both. Now he wondered what the bird stallion was there for, maybe the treasure hunt would have to wait.

"Ah I'm Yuuri and this is Feena. Its nice that you honor us Zaribe. Is there something we may perhaps help you with," he asked with a large smile noting the basket filled with many of treasures untold. Curiosity filling the stallion with wonderment to why the parrot was addressing them.

Feena stepped forward with a bow of her own head, dropping the pouch to her feet, "Yes. If there's anything you need, I'm sure one of us can find it for you". She smiled with another flit of her wings releasing the soft green hue around her.

Rein_Carnation
Zaribe noted their activeness in attention to his presence, thinking what gift the two of them might offer. His withers felt a tickling twinge in them, in the way he'd never felt before. Immediately he thought of his bright smiling mate wondering why she washed over and drifted in his thoughts.

Course because he loved her, that's why.

"Help me? Oh that would be very kind of you, for you see I am in need of assistance. For you see my elder of the herd has sent me on a very special errand. I'm to find the most perfect present for my beloved mate," grinning with a flick of his ear he continued, "So anything you could contribute will bring me closer to being by her side."

Yuuri stood listening as he looked at Feena, for she knew answers to any suggestion. She was of course the mighty treasure hunter or problem solver when things arose.

Feena on the other hand was pondering something she could give him, it was quite a special request that couldn't be denied. "Hmmm...," she mused reaching her head downward into her large pouch, "Lets see what I have in my cherished bag shall we?" She nosed about through an array of glittering artifacts and treasures, each fitting of an Adventurer's findings.

What to offer... "Aha," she mused with her tail flicking back and forth. Bringing her head back up she held within her muzzle a straight black cord containing a purple gemstone tied within it. It was large enough to fit around any Soquili's neck as well.

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.

"Its amethyst," she chirped with a nod, "The healing stone of many things. In times of need the purple essence will support and protect her when she needs it most. I believe this is essential to any happy family, be they two or four." Holding the pendent out to him she winked and nodded approval.

Zaribe noted the swirling purple gem as it swung back and forth. Healing stone. Wow he never thought of that idea, she really was something.

"Its beautiful, Thank you Feena." he nodded taking the necklace, dropping it into the basket with all the other gifts.

Yuuri on the other hand pondered for a moment then bowed his head. "I shall return," he spoke with urgency as his large form reached for the skies. His massive wings propelling him higher as his large feet carried him further.

Feena blinked in wonder to where Yuuri was heading off to, but she smiled afterwards realizing he too had a gift as well.

Rein_Carnation
Zaribe didn't mind the wait for both the flutter and the winged had been wonderful to him with their positive thoughts. He'd especially be patient while Yuuri found something fitting for Tic.

The air finally sounded of a great whooping noise, wings of a large stallion. Yuuri carrying something shining in his mouth as he descended toward them. With an elegant hop step he thundered into the ground, a graceful curve of his massive wings as they folded neatly upon his back. Within his muzzle he carried something rather enticing to both the flutter and the parrot. A small curved ball that reflected the light completely through it.

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.

Zaribe's eyes went wild as he stared in complete attention of the small circular object in the other's mouth.

Yuuri stepped forward, placing the clear ball softly within the basket, all the while admiring the other gifts and treasures the scarlet one had collected for his mate. Stepping backwards he smiled," Its not much but I think that something reflecting beauty all around would be the perfect gift. If you sit it on something and you both look into it... well its like you'll be even closer to one another."

Feena beamed still envious of such a beautiful ball, but was proud of Yuuri for letting it go. He really was something... she admitted that for now.

Zaribe beamed at the two new gifts bobbing his head with great admiration. "Thank you. Thanks to both of you I'm getting closer to my goal." He ruffled his own wings thinking where next he should roam.

Bowing his head with gratitude he smiled, "I must now seek others in my quest, but I'll never forget you two." Spreading his wings he looked at them one last time, "Someday I'd like you both to meet my Sunny Rainbow." Then he cradled the basket between his teeth and leaped upwards towards the cerulean sea high above. His great wings catching the sunlight as it reflected the painting that proudly displayed upon his rump.

As he had taken to flight Feena noticed the painted parrot and rainbow. Sunny Rainbow. "Ah I see now," she noted with a smile," A sun, rainbow, and a parrot....wonderful colors."

Yuuri nodded to her watching Zaribe fly away with his new treasures, "I hope he returns to her safely, she's a lucky mare to have someone so dedicated."

Feena looked slyly at him, before she nipped his shoulder, "Hey dreaming boy. There's treasure to be found. Are you coming?" Smirking she picked up her own treasure pouch and flitted herself in the air, reaching her own to the sky around her.

Yuuri blinked," Ahhaha yeah I'm coming," he called out thinking of the little mare high above him. Maybe she'll be lucky too. Ah Yuuri stop thinking of her as a mate, she's not going to think highly of you otherwise. But, still she sure is pretty.

Laughing, he swept his great wings outward and caught up to her far off in the distance.

Newly grown from a foal, Lyra had left his home for a walk to try out his longer, larger, legs. Out in the grassy plains Lyra looked very much like the night sky above him. A breeze blew his long hair about his adult form as he stood up on his two back legs only his front two seemed to reach for the sky before settling back upon the ground.

Leaning down to nuzzle some of the violet flowers sprouting from the grass he inhaled the lovely, soft, delicate scent. Lifting his head his hair falling about his face he shook his head a few quick times and nearly fell onto his back legs as he lost his balance for a few moments, he wasn't quite used to quick movements on these new legs.

Prancing along through the forest, Aureate hummed to himself, tail swishing soflty over the emerald grass, a black velvet bag -hanging from a drawstring- in his mouth. Within the seemingly plain black bag were some of his most precious findings...
A gift for one in need...
Fallen stars were rare, and to find samples as such as these, one had to be looking very hard... ( Stars they may not be, but they looked like they were...) And Aureate had never seen rocks shine like this, so he carried a few of them in a small black pouch, hoping they would bring another stallion luck.
Stumbling across a stranger, Aureate flipped his ears forward. Was this the one in need of the perfect gift for his dainty love? Perhaps... With a shrug the black winged stallion paced forward, head held high and proud. He had a bag of stars, perhaps they would be something akin to what the other sought.
Aur's personal favorite of those he offered, a large white one that reminded him of the northern star, was foremost on his list to offer the stranger... It glittered with all different lights and colors, and seemed to glow like it was still up in the sky.
"Hello?" He rumbled, setting the bag between his forehooves so he could speak.

Lorako--
"You're welcome" the mare said just before the stallion left. Then she moved towards her home too. She wondered when she will see her mate, he was as romantic as this stallion for sure. She smiled as she walked and disappear from the place where they where.

Frosta stood at the base of the mountains with a smile on her face, she knew that something brought her down to the base of the mountains for some reasons. The single gust of the wind blew toward her and caused one of her mane to fall between her ears as she looks up toward the skies for some reasons.

Isabella decided to break off from her mate and took two days to reach to the mountains to see her mother standing there with a grin on her face and staring up at the skies. "Mama... what are you doing?" A younger yet bulkier (got body frame from her dad) mare inquires with a grin on her face. She never was found without a smile on her face at all.

The night was a wonder as Zaribe noticed a thousand lights smiling high above him. A canvas stretching so far that blackness was a flowing sea with many different hues of light here and there.

Noticing a stallion that was like a fallen star, the parrot approached with a wise smile pausing momentarily to place his basket amongst the soft grasses nestled about it. Clearing his throat he was about to speak, when another voice as lyrical as a bell caught his ears.

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.

"Excuse me? Oh Lyra... hee hee it's you, " she chimed with a toss of her long flowing white silken hair. A silver elegance that contrasted deeply within a sea of dark blue as a million lights shimmered on her body.

She nodded her head with a giggle as her long diamond spiral shimmered with a bright light. Her mouth was carrying the most beautiful white lilies as they hung gently outward. It seemed a chore to speak with such a mouthful, but she managed quite well.

Zaribe looked between the both of them coming to the conclusion that both were related, perhaps even brother and sister. They reminded him of the strange mare that came and went with both a horn and wings. Clearing his breath he spoke clearly now that the basket was lying at his feet safely.

"Hello Soquili of the Starlight, Pray tell do you think you'd both have a moment to help a devoted stallion on a quest for his mate's love?" There was something different this time around with his words, more flowing yet positively still keeping in his gentlemanly way. Both looked as if they'd perk their ears to his plea, perhaps he would be right and find more for his beloved. But, also he'd gain more friends if they'd accept his proposal.

The darker stallion whose wings glittered golden in the hue of the sun's touch made the parrot's eyes sparkle. The rumble from the other's voice was a welcoming one, and Zaribe took that as an open invitation. Remembering his recent encounters he swept his head downward with a display of his colorful appendages as they caught the sunlight warmly upon them spread as proud as an eagle. His mane poured downward in a primary river as the stallion's deep words of his own expressed themselves.

"Greetings," he spoke with a bright smile lighting his eyes to a rich brown, "I'm on a quest for my beloved, ah would you be able to help me?".

A bag of velvety black sat between his forehooves which interested Zaribe, but no he had to keep focused or returning back to her would become more of a chore than a pleasure.

Zaribe with presents in tow carried on his flight now destined toward the looming mountains that seemed so tall and overbearing. His wings feeling a slight nipping cold as they flecked with bits of ice. Shivering he pulled his wings closer and descended toward the base of the mountains, nearing in on an angle as the wintry winds nudged him a little faster than he would have liked. His hooves stepped upon hardened rock as a layer of ice covered over top, making footing a bit treacherous as his feet slid a little.

Snorting he placed the basket by the soft fetlocks of his legs, checking to be sure nothing has been damaged from the cold updraft the bold stallion traveled within. Shaking his head he nudged the remaining sugarplum that was alright to claim, eating it strangely fast with a few swift chomps of his maw.

When he was satisfied he looked about him still shivering. Never would he understand why the ice mare liked the cold as she did. Merely a secret she must possess he guessed. In any case his curious guise had caught a glimpse of two mares that remotely reminded him of Celendria in a few ways, more than one actually. His warm fetlocks resting on the basket from the cold made him think... would it be alright to bring it out in the cold or stay standing and maybe they'd notice him.

A big red parrot colored Soquili.... I think they would.

Sleet Tempest Snape-
Looking up from where his attention had been ears pricked he smiled at the sight of his sister. "What are you doing out this eve?" He asked softly his head tilting to the side as he took in his sisters grown form, flowers and all.

"And why the flowers sister dear?" He inquired before his attention was captured by a rather bright stallion making his way toward them both.

Laughing softly at the greeting he bowed his head lightly in greeting at the other male spoke. "Good evening to you stallion of the rainbow." Lyra greeted his voice soothing and calm as he spoke.

"How is it that we can help you this fine eve with your quest?" He asked softly rather intrigued by this stallions need for help with a quest.

"I do believe we can help you, right sister dear?" He asked turning his cyan gaze to his horned sister.

Caitlyn Hellstorm-
Isabella was the first one to notice the striking red stallion standing few feets away from them and her eyes squints slightly because she recalls hearing about a parrot-looking stallion that have captured their rainbow-haired herd mate's heart. A huge friendly smile spreads across the younger mare's face as she approaches Zaribe. "Let me guess.. you are the parrot-boy? Zaribe yes?" She grins more as she glances at her mother whom looks equally happy to finally meet the exclusive parrot stallion whom is also the mate of the blushing mare whom couldn't stop blushing everytime she speaks highly of Zaribe.

When the older dark blue mare felt the nudge of her daughter, she turns her head in the same direction as Isabella seeing a brightly-colored stallion. Frosta bows her head briefly in a greeting as her eyes gleams with amusement because she is on the same wave as her daughter.. knowing that the parrot stallion in front of them is Tic's mate. "Let me introduce ourselves.." She moves up behind Isabella slowly. "I am Frosta and this is my lovely daughter Isabella but we call her Izzie for short. I believe you are here for some assistance yes?" She grins good-natured as her tail flicks to one side while looking at Zaribe then finally spotting the basket almost full with things. "Looking to bring Tic back the full basket of gifts, yes?"

Caitlyn Hellstorm-
"Zaicate.. why didn't you tell me about Shizuka?" An annoyed male voice floats from the forest as silver tiger-striped stallion walks around after his irate daughter whom is obviously not interested in telling him about the guy she hopes to be mated to. "Zaicate! I forbid you to go near Rahu's sons or be a lifemate to them" He looks at Zaicate with a troubled look on his face. "Zaicate.. I don't want you to get hurt.."

Zaicate was trying to get away from her father by walking deeper into the forest but its not working because her father is just as stubborn as her. Growing frustrated and irate, Zaicate just merely walked toward to the edge of the forest without even uttering a word to her father. "My life.. my mate.. buzz off." She says in clipped tone as she shot her father a warning glare before she shakes her head while picking up her pace to quick trot to gain more distance between him and her.

Cassi once again giggled as her horn shimmered to an almost blinding effect before it paused and became quiet once more. She was quite used to such things as they came and went, and well the light from her spiral made even the deepest shadows fade away.

"Oh Lyra, " she trilled with another giggle, followed by the glistening light, "You know we both love the night as much as our parents. As for the lilies? Hmm I don't know... They just looked so pretty, so I decided to pick them."

The red winged however she'd seen, if only a few glimpses growing up. He was from Celendria's herd, that she knew. "Why of course Lyra," she nodded and bowed her head to the scarlet male, "Anything you need I'll do my best. Please tell me what you seek."

Zaribe noted the mare a bit more, a young charge that had been in Celendria's watch before her mother returned. He'd never gotten to learn her name, but he agreed she had grown quite beautiful as her mother that fell from the stars.

"Wonderful," the stallion nodded with an appreciative bob of his head, "What I need is a gift, a perfect present to reflect my love for my Sunny Rainbow." He smiled at the both of them and waited.

Cassiopeia paused for a moment then giggled lighting her horn. She had the perfect idea that was inspiration from a moonlit walk. Stepping forward she held the lilies in her mouth befure placing them in his basket, "There. These symbolize love and purity. I think anything can be beautiful if one thinks it so."

His eyes couldn't have lighted up anymore as his rump wiggled with excitement, someone knew about Tic, let alone two! His eyes shimmered with so much happiness. "You've seen her? How is she? Is she doing alright?" The words came so fast he ignored his usual approach to new faces and just acted of himself.

Coughing he smiled, "I mean hello there mares of the icy land. You're looking well this day." He smirked laughing as he tried containing news about his beloved. Seemed the etiquette mode had cracked and the parrot was left. Still he was trying to be polite and did the sweeping bow of his head.

He regarded them both with a big smile, though he tried keeping respectable. The shivering had ceased in his wings, now that he had a warmth of thinking about her. He looked down at the basket and nodded enthusiastically, "Celendria sent me on a quest for the perfect present for my Sunny Rainbow," he beamed quite proudly watching them both,"Since you know her quite well, would you have anything to offer? The sooner I fill the fasket, the sooner I can come back to her."

Jis gaze followed from one to the other looking positively radiant.

Zaribe now carried a basket filled with many glittering treasures, yet it still didn't carry enough to prove for Celendria. She was counting on him to follow through, and he planned on doing so. Holding his head high he trotted along the forest, basket in tow.

Pausing though in walk he heard an angry sound, not as mean as he thought though. A stallion followed after a mare which resembled him greatly. Intriguing. Well these two, maybe the mare could help him, or maybe he stepped into a bad timing. Either way he had to try and hope for the best.

So, he paused there like a great red beacon holding his basket, as the younger mare approached him.

Malis Made her way across the golden sands and stared out over the ocean blue. The salt in the air was refreshing and the blue mare grinned as she felt her heart beat in excitement. It had been a long time since she had truly quested, thoughts of the scroll she had coverted for a while sent a tingle up her spine as her mind imagined the adventure that spread out before her. Zayll was off somewhere on her own quest so Malis was left along for the day. Not that she minded, the zombie had a tendency to argue with her reasoning, as if a troll's reasoning was ever wrong! Shaking her head she continued on before noticing a glinting in the sand.

Curious she stepped up and was delighted to find those golden shells that she had been looking for. Malis had a small stash of these sparkling crustaceans which were perfect for adding into the mane and tail. She had planned to gather some up for Tai'jin now she was grown but was loath to part with her own stash. With delicate movements, the troll reached down and, making sure her tusk wasn't in the way, she tilted her head to the side to gather up the golden shells and place them carefully in her satchel. After making sure they were safe she wandered along the beach to find some more...

Frosta grins as she walks over to one small bush that have beautiful bleeding heart flowers growing all over which is odd for them because they don't grow during the cold season or near the mountains so this is a sign that they are here for Zaribe to give to his pregnant mate. A hidden smile flickers through her eyes as she remembers the encounter she had with a very worried Tic just a day ago. "Zaribe.. here's my gift to you to give to your 'Sunny Rainbow'" She says as she pulls one small branch off with few bleeding heart flowers hanging on them.

Isabella laughs happily at Zaribe before she grins widely at him. "Tic is doing amazingly well!! little impatient for her parrot to return." Her eyes sparkled with amusement as she watches the parrot with a grin on her face. "It's our pleasure meeting you. OH!!! Hold on just a minute.. mama.. that amber..." She murmurs ot her mother and got the approval so she darted up to the cavern then came back 5 minutes later with a oval shaped amber rock with a beautiful budded rose encased in it in her mouth. She gingerly walks over and drops it in the basket in front of Zaribe. "This is very special to all of us and I am sure Tic will treasure this because its symbol of everlasting love." She glances up at the parrot with a happy smile.

Zaicate suddenly stops as she arches her eyebrow at the stallion that looks like parrot boy Tic kept talking about. Before she met Shizuka, she thought it was a bug that is going around if Tic talked about any stallions like that but now she finally understood the true meaning of the love. But she is still very confused about everything. The small and slender mare stood in front of Zaribe. "Are you that parrot boy Tic kept talking about?" She arches her eyebrow in curious yet oddly not mocking manner. She is wearing a tribal looking necklace that she found hanging on the tree around her neck.

Zahariah stops shortly right behind his daughter, almost colliding into her. He peers over his daughter's head and sees Zaribe and he arches his eyebrow then he moves around to Zaicate's side. "Greetings.. I am Zahariah and this is Zaicate.. I would like to apologize for my daughter's brash attitude.. " He shot Zaicate the LOOK which caused Zaicate to fall in sullen silence but with now polite air around her. "But I would have to echo Zaicate's question.. are you.. by any chances Tic Tac Toe's lifemate?" He peers at the winged stallion curiously.

Sleet Tempest Snape-
"Yes we do both so love the night...it makes me wonder where our brother is this eve." He spoke softly, soothingly.

Nodding to her comment on the lilies they were indeed very pretty and leaning down for a smell he nodded once more in approval, they smelled lovely.

Hearing the rainbow bright soquili's request he thought for a moment before nodding to himself before he spoke. "Wait a moment and I will get you something." Lyra said before turning, his tail lashing through the night air, as he went to get something.

Not to far from the two he soon did return a group of yellow flowers in his mouth. Bending over the basket he set the flowers inside. "While simple and seen as a weed beauty can be found in everything even something simple, as beauty is not only visual but in the meaning behind the item...." Lyra spoke wisely as he lifted his head slowly from the basket.

Inside the basket, next to the lilies were the small bright yellow dandelions.

Cassiopeia nodded approvingly of the bright yellow noting the symbol upon the Soquili's rump. Sunny Rainbow. Why of course his mate was yellow and rainbow, and he is the colorful bird. A perfect match as she thought about it even more accompanied by her horn lighting up as she laughed in a sweet giggle.

"Aww Lyra so sentimental," she mused bobbing her head in a swaying motion, "I think that was a perfect choice, since it sounds like Zaribe's mate is as bright and cheerful as the flowers.

Zaribe also thought of the simple sediment and chuckled, "Coming from the jungle, Zi and I never imagined we'd see so much yellow that covered the fields and land. Though they're considered weeds, I think they're very beautiful. I think Tic will appreciate something that joins in her shining happiness. Thank you Lyra, and you as well Cassiopeia."

Cassi nodded her head with a bright smile, "I think I've seen you before Zaribe, around Celendria's herd. Am I right?" She tilted her head still smiling in awe of the gorgeous painting the parrot displayed, "I grew up there for a bit when mom went away to find dad."

Zaribe smiled and nodded with a wide grin, "Yes I have, though lately I've been by Tic's side till now. I long to be back with her, but for now I must complete this test. Only then can I return to both Celendria and my sweetheart."

Nodding his head he thanked them once more, "Sadly I can not stay... but someday I hope Tic can meet the both of you. Thank you." Leaning down he grabbed the basket and took to the deep sky above him, wing beats pulsing through the air as each pushed him higher. The basket was now gaining weight, but it didn't cause him to falter so easily. He was a great stallion of strength and willpower now.

His love would see him through.

Frosta's gift reminded the parrot of the sweet magenta shades that ran throughout her mane and tail. Beautiful. Oh how he missed her he wanted to cry practically. But wait, Zi would think him silly being so paranoid wouldn't she? Ah nuts what was he to do? Act normal, that's how it was done. A proper greeting instilled lifelong happiness and friends. . but it was so hard right now.

Reaching outward he took the branch, thinking deeply of his mate.

Oh Tic....I miss you so incredibly much.

Isabella made him beam even more hearing how much his love missed him. Imagine that, someone other than Zi worrying about him as if he'd fallen off the wrong branch. He just couldn't keep from grinning thinking about it. The gift that shimmered of yellow made him feel even more warm.

"Well I really miss her too. Not a moment goes by that I don't wish I was back home, but I can't disappoint Celendria who is going to be an elder very soon. I need to keep my wings ruffled and my legs strong." His chest puffed up deeply letting him look like an over sized parrot that was grinning way too much.

"Ah I'd love to stay and chat, but I need to stay focused. Please come by when I return and see us," he whickered with a hasty urgency but stopped and looked deeply at the both of them, "Tell her I'm coming home soon... I just have to find her something first. She's always with me, especially now, in my heart. Please tell her that for me. And... thank you both so very much"

Leaning down to pick up the basket he flicked his tail. Soon he'd be back with her. Soon. Not a another thought held him there as he galloped away, holding the basket tightly in his grip.

A lucky day indeed spilled out before the scarlet male, for two more of Tic's herd had graced his path. He bowed his head eagerly though kept an almost perfect approach to his greeting. A gentlemanly nod and sweep of the long flowing tricolored river he was born with. Only his tail was contained in various braids and feathers.

"I am indeed Zaribe whom loves his Sunny Rainbow very much. I do hope she's doing well," he finished lifting his head upward to gaze at them both, "Which reminds me why I'm out traveling. Celendria has entrusted me with a quest for my mate. Perhaps you can help?"

He went on and told his famous story it seemed, of all his meetings and Celendria's words of returning to her to show the gifts. Curiosity struck him that possibly these two might be able to contribute something. He was quickly learning not all soquili were alike, and sometimes were deeper set than others. Where there were the cheerful there were also the glum or cynical, scared, or looney. Whatever the case he was enjoying himself and musing quite happily as the basket filled even more each time he met someone else knew.

Zaribe had found many a treasure, and came across the most amazing souls that lived as the beautiful creatures known as Soquili. His promise to Celendria was indeed true and faithful, a lot more to say now than a few years back. Where he stood focused and centered now, back then he was reckless and carefree. Not even a thing such as love could change his mind. Simply a wild bird spreading its wings out as far as they could reach. Everything was a game, an enigma that always teased him. Now it was as if his eyes were finally open for the first time.

Looking down in the basket he smiled at the colors and items, my how lovely she'd look in the different things. A Princess to behold.

His flight though brought him toward the "big blue" as Kimimela called it once more. Though he was on the opposite shore than where he'd met the magnificent water stallion that graced him with a pretty shell wrapped in seaweed. Landing neatly accompanied by a flick of his braided tail, he stepped once more into the earth that seemed strange as it sucked around one's hooves. His eyes scanned the golden sands that reflected the sun high above, bits of minerals making it look like a glittering sea.

Catching a glimpse of movement he stretched his neck concentrating. Seemed to be a blue mare that was searching for something that the most unique hair. Shining hair clasps inlaid through out her mane and tail. Amazing. Walking over slowly, so as not to startle her, he placed the basket by his feet before he spoke, "Good day to you. I am Zaribe of the jungle. Might I say you have the most interesting hair I've ever seen"

During his introduction, he bowed his head sweeping his mane. Always a plus to be discreet when talking to others.

Aureate smiled. Ah then! So this was the one he was supposed to seek out.. Sibalto would be pleased then... A pity the silver stallion could not be here to help present the gift, but he was at home with his new foals.
Aureate could not blame his Godfather.
"I come with gifts from across the sea, a wish of good luck from myself and my 'Godsire' Sibalto..." He nosed at the bag, letting the star-like jewels tumble out. "If any of these would help you in your quest... Please, take them..."

Zaicate listens to Zaribe's story before she went silent for little bit and ponders about this gift she should give to Zaribe to give Tic. Zaicate heard from Izzie that Tic is expecting so each gifts will really count and mean so much to her. She looks down at the tribal arrowhead necklace that hung around her neck. "Zaribe..." She says as she bends her head down straight so the necklace slid right off her neck. "Take this to your mate.. the two-legger gave it to me and it is meant to be given to other as a gift so I am giving you this." Zaicate says as she picks up the necklace and moves toward Zaribe's basket then drops it in there.

Zahariah was already pawing at something in the ground that caught his interest while listening to Zaribe. A huge smile appears on his face as he sees a heart-shaped amethyst laying among the leaves. "I found a perfect one.. but its little bigg." He says before he picks it up after little of trouble with trying to find out how to fit it between his teeth because it is the size of a normal female's human hand. He drops it in the basket of Zaribe with a grunt and he looks up at the parrot. "heart-shaped stone..a symbol that your love will contiune forever." He simply says with a grin. "Zaicate.. I think we should let this parrot go since he want to get back to his beloved." He glances at his daughter whom just nods lightly.

Above the forest where Zahariah and Zaicate is, a mother and daughter was on their way to meet up with Frosta and Izzie just like Zahariah and Zaicate is. It is the sight to see.. a small brown mare soaring along side with her alicorn mother. "Mama... look.." Rowenya calls out to her mother as she spots the red among the forest. "Lets check it out.. race ya!" She shouts over her shoulder as she zooms down to the forest while laughing out loudly.

Zaribe watched the darker winged with interest as his eyes wavered toward the half full basket. How on earth was he going to give his beloved this jumbled mess? Why it looked very much like his feathers when they were ruffled and unkempt from moments of play or a fierce wind.

Had he even checked his feathers lately he wondered. How long had it been since he had preened plumage keeping them orderly and nice?

Flicking his eyes back to the other stallion he nodded quite appreciatively, "Indeed they will. They glitter like my mate's eyes, so she will cherish them as much as I have my gratitude for your God sire and yourself."

Zaribe smiled once more craning his neck downward to retrieve a few of the pretty stones, then placing them in the basket with the other well received gifts. He wasn't a glutton to take all of them, for there were probably others out there that might like such beauty a stranger could offer.

Raising his head upwards he nodded, "I hope that Tic Tac Toe and I will get to meet your God father, and perhaps someday we will cross paths once more. I'm sure she'd like that."

He sighed contentedly thinking of being with her. Just the Parrot and the Sunny Rainbow standing there quietly, reminiscing the love they shared.

"I apologize my my quest is still waiting for me. Again my thanks, and I wish your Godfather happy thoughts with his new family".

Then with a slow moving sweep of his head, Zaribe lifted the basket and started off towards the forest. The basket was getting heavier day by day as his heart was soaring to the anticipated time of his arrival back at her side.

Zaribe watched the father and daughter with interest. There was much he had to learn of Tic's friends. Heck even she didn't know most of Celendria's herd. Though the ice mare had one that was more of a "sanctuary" than a well placed gathering of soquili. They all lived in harmony there, and the best thing about it was you could come and go whenever you wanted. There was no curfew or restrictions for anyone. Just do as you please, respect the two-leggers that aided them, and listen to the ice mare's words. That was simply all there was to it.

Zaicate's gift of her own doing made his mouth drop with complete surprise. Something given to her my her two-legger was being offered for a token of the stallion's own love to his mate. Incredible. He was speechless for a moment letting things flicker and reflect to what he just witnessed.

'And I am indeed honored you'd give up something so precious for Tic. You are a very generous Soquili." he nodded smiling highly at her father, "I think even in her own stubbornness, she has a very good heart. Remember that."

Now he watched Zahariah with interest as well as he pawed the ground. A gorgeous stone lie there similar to the pendent that Feena had offered, only this one was much bigger and in the shape of a heart.

"Yes. What a nice colored shade too. she'll love it!" he smiled with a charming grin, "I think Tic will thank the both of you when she learns what you've offered." he nodded before bending down to lift the basket. So many things now peeped back at him with a smile of their own in twinkles and shimmers.

"I think I'll be coming around more often, so I think I'll see you two around more. Take care."

Then he retrieved his basket and stepped off toward another destination. So soon he wished he was back by now.

Zaribe was moving along away from the other two, when he heard a thundering of hoofbeats coming towards him. Immediately, he whirled around almost loosing a couple of the now scattered lilies that Cassiopeia had given him. Panicking he placed the basket on the ground, nosing the flowers back to a more suitable position.

The laughter of a child echoed closer as his ears perked in curiosity. Whom now was approaching even closer to where he stood. Instinctively, he nosed the basket between his great forelegs just in case the basket might get bumped. He'd really have to organize it before he went back, or ask Celendria to help him with such a thing.

Rowenya never was very good at landing.. only crash-landing. She skids as she hits the ground and looks up at Zaribe with an sheepish grin on her face. "I am very sorry about that.. I never was very go-.... oh my gosh..." Her eyes went wide as she took a very good look at Zaribe. "You are the parrot boy Tic have been speaking about!" She excitedly says as she moves around to look at the stallion's rump. "I knew it!!" She crowed triumphantly.

A slightly larger alicorn mare lands next to Rowenya gracefully before she noses the talkative daughter to make sure that she is all right. "Zaribe? If that is you, I apologize for my talkative daughter. I am Christabel and this is Rowenya." She says with a gentle smile on her face as she flutters her wings. "There is a quite collection you got there!" She looks at the basket with interest. "For your mate yes?"

Pretending she hadn't seen him, Malis watched him unobtrusively, peeking through her dreads as she kept an eye on the ground. She noticed he was carrying a basket that seemed to have a few things inside though it was hard to see through the openings in the wicker. He definatly had an air of a quest around him, she could smell it and a grin replaced the curious look, this would be an interesting meeting. Schooling her features into a more passive look, the troll waited until he came close before lifting her head. After his complement she grinned again, her large tusk showing, this was definatly going to be fun.

"Wa, thank ya! Ah be tryin' t' keep it nice. Mah hair be mah favorite t'ing about me, ah be thinkin'." Malis made her own bow of greeting in response to his before watching him with bright red eyes. She motioned to acknowledge the satchel and scroll case she had tied over her back. Turning back to the stallion with another toothy grin she carefully kicked a small patch of sand with her back hoof where another golden shell lay. She would pick it up when they were done. "Mah name be Malis, what ya be called around these parts?"

Dyami walked alone with a small rose in his mouth. it was ment for Settia his mate as he liked to sometimes go off and find something for her like a gift so that he could so he still loved and cared for her. a small grin was on his face as he carried the red rose. even with his odd color of white, red and green it could be seen he was a proud stallion which definitely was proud right now as he carried the flower in his mouth.

Zaribe carried his wonderful present idly as it hung from his mouth. Now with the newly added things it was starting to cause a numbing pain in his mouth that caused him to rest a lot more often. Placing the basket down he maneuvered his maw by wiggling it a bit then stretching. There was some really nice blades of grass nearby that were calling to his stomach. Pausing he wondered if it wouldn't hurt to eat just a little. Tic would understand that even he got hungry spells right?

So he indulged and cooed at how sweet the grasses were, though it was Fall and turning colder. Not as bitter as winter grass, but this definitely would sate his appetite for the time being.

A noise caught his attention, someone was nearing closer. He stopped chewing, standing rather still just to listen. To his senses he knew it to be a stallion or a really well built mare in strong legs. This made him chuckle to himself reminding the parrot just how silly he could be.

Now he'd wait and see just who was arriving, not to mention finish chewing his breakfast before he spat it out trying to talk.

Well now this was something quite different than he was used to, but he didn't take that as something wrong either. Another soul that was quite different than others was never to be disregarded or ignored. Though her tongue was a bit hard to decipher, her words and attitude were rather chipper and open to trust. So the scarlet stallion looked at her in a different light and responded with a wonderful placed grin, "Greetings Malis. I am Zaribe of the jungle... but you may just call me Zaribe if you wish". His voice was rather deep though it carried a bit of playfulness that stood on the tip oh his tongue.

"You do keep your hair in really good condition. I'm like that with my feathers, one out of place and it needs fixed right away. My mate never fusses with me about it, so I'm thankful for that." He smiled bobbing his head before his eyes rested upon the basket where mostly the longer lilies were visible. "As for why I'm so far from home, I guess you could say Celendria the elder sent me out. You see I'm on a quest, a very special one to bring back the perfect token of my love for Tic. Thing is there's so many others have given, its going to be so hard to know which is the best." He ended that last word on an off note, for he really didn't know which she'd feel was the purest gift of his affection. Was it a rose, shell, necklace, flowers that she'd love him for? He couldn't even think of a start as to decide right at that moment.

Get it together Zaribe, remember you're on a quest for Tic.

Standing quite tall he ruffled his wings watching the troll. "And where are you from might I ask? Interesting tongue you have there. Zikeria and I came from the Southern jungles exploring. Been here ever since it seems."

He noticed the glittering shell by her feet, but he didn't dare breathe its presence right now. He was profoundly intrigued that someone interesting was taking time out of their day to chat with him.

Zaribe braced himself as the crash landing came but a few feet from where he stood. The basket thankfully was safe, contents in place and settled still between his forehooves. He looked up to set sight on a younger mare dusted in a brown hue, winged, with a flowing cream colored mane and tail. She as well recognized him in an instant, circling with excitement to see the painting upon his rump.

He watched her, a smile slowly building into a greater grin at how spirited she was in temperament.

So this is another of Tic's family I wonder. Wow so many that I've run into in this quest. Hey at least I'll know them if we meet again, right?

"Yep I'm Zaribe. Wow Tic really talks a lot of me doesn't she?" He couldn't help but grin thinking to himself just how lucky he was to have such an amazing girl for his mate.

Other other hand, the older mare that shined of gold knew full well who he was. He shook his head with a smile, "No apologies Christabel. Seems I've been running into a lot of your herd this afternoon." He then recounted his meetings. "Lets see... Frosta, Isabella, Zahariah, Zaiacate, and now you two as well. I must either be really lucky or all of you are going to one certain place".

He gazed down at the basket and smiled stepping away to let them see his bounty of treasure. He was rather proud so much had been placed in there. So many others had helped him in his ploy to keep his promise to Celendria.

"Yes it is, "he responded with a proud purr in his chest that rumbled not soon after. "Celendria told me to go and fill this, with the help of other soquili, then I can return home to my Sunny Rainbow. I think its only going to need a few more things, then I can be with her again. I miss her so much."

He bobbed his head once more stretching his long wings, before placing them back upon his back. Perhaps soon a nap would do him wonders, as he had been moving for a couple days ow with no rest and very little food to forage.

Dyami started to hum to himself as he walked along not caring if any noticed him. he was in a rather good mood which explained the humming the normally silent and proud stallion. eyes glancing here and there he caught sight of a red wind stallion that had red, blue and yellow wings as he came into view. tilting his head as he came closer he found it somewhat odd for him to have a basket with him but then he might seem odd himself carrying a rose about in his mouth. humming having long stopped he gave a nod to the other stallion and stopping a comfortable distance from him. it wouldn't do any harm to stop to meet someone on his way home to his mate.

Standing in a field there stood a short perky little pony as she munched upon several tasty treats such as clover and a bit of spearmint. Her cute little form wasn’t too pudgy though it gave an appearance of it. Cute little dapples that made her blue eyes twinkle as she smiled now and then.

Swishing her tail she moved along the grasses plucking things here and there to her liking. A little steam of snowy white followed after her as a tail lied upon the stronger strands of grass. Here she was most happily, a kindred spirit that longed to be in the warm sun and simply be content. Perhaps a roll in the grass or a simple breath of air, was all it took to make the usdia known as Peaches to smile.

She giggled softly as a butterfly landed on the tip of her nose. Watching its large wings fan gently in a vertical motion it made her feel like a little foal. The brightly colored wings and tiny frail body so much like her. So little in that great big world it’s a wonder the butterfly didn’t become upset or embarrassed being so tiny.

Watching it flutter away she frowned, “Aww bye little butterfly. Come back soon okay?” It wasn’t easy to say if a butterfly could understand words or not, it was just the thought of at least trying to hope it understood.

“Is something the matter?"

Peaches blinked turning her head to notice a regular sized soquili mare that was dipped in an off blue with pretty pinks and purples for tresses. “Hmm? No it’s okay. The butterfly just had somewhere else to be, that’s all.”

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.

The larger mare smiled, “Oh I see,” She responded with a dazzling twinkle in her eye, “Mr. Butterfly usually doesn’t stay around too much on pretty days such as this. He just likes to flit here and there saying hello. Then he flies high in the sky to find someone else.” She giggled with sweetness and nodded her head, " I’m Sweet Stuff. Who are you little one? Oh I don’t mean little in that sense, just usually comes out that way. If I’ve said anything to offend you, please know I’m sorry.”

Peaches blinked shaking her head with rapid movements, “No no… don’ be sorry Sweet Stuff. I’m used to being called small cause I am.” She stood as tall as she could, but still stretched her neck upward to speak to the blue mare. “Im Peaches. Nice to meet you, Sweet”.

“Well alright then Peaches. I just wanted to make sure I didn’t insult you or belittle because you’re your size and all. I do that a lot sometimes.” She murmured lowering her ears as her head drooped bit.

“Nah. You’re perfectly fine Sweet Stuff. Hey mind staying and chatting awhile? I’ve never really talked with any of the regular type Soquili before except Celendria.”

Sweet Stuff smiled her eyes twinkling in the warm sunshine. Such a cute little one.

“Sure, I have nothing better to do right now. I’d love to Peaches.”

(Enter Zaribe)

Zaribe yawned stretching his full wings, extending them to release any kinks that caused him annoyance. That rest had done him quite well it seemed.

All right. Now to find more soquili to help with my quest.

He nosed the basket fixing a few things and frowned. Seemed the flowers were wilting a bit. Water. That’s what they needed. So picking up the lilies he headed toward a small stream, placing the ends in for a bit. Meanwhile he drank quite heavily of the cool sparkling water as it trickled down his parched throat.

Ah so good.

His ears caught a sound that was echoing not to far off. Two female soquili in conversation. Perfect, Now he had two more to encounter about a gift. Picking up the lilies in his mouth, he then placed them in the basket once more. Then he decided to head over to speak with them.

What he saw were two soquili, one blue and a smaller one that was a dappled gray. He wasn’t sure on their names, but both had been in the clearing talking with Celendria once before. Seemed to be familiar faces he was running into lately. What a small world they all lived within.

Clearing his throat he attempted to get their attention.

“Greetings fair ladies of the meadow. How are you this fine day?” he queried with a bright wink and a smile.

Peaches was the first to respond since her little head was already straining itself to see who greeted them. “Ah hello there,” Good day to you as well. I’m Peaches. Nice to meet you.”

Sweet Stuff bowed her head with a twinkle in her shining eyes. “And I’m Sweet Stuff. Who might you be? I think I’ve seen you around the clearing before, just fuzzy on names.” She bobbed her head with a smile.

Zaribe grinned, “I knew I saw you two before. Peaches and Sweet Stuff is it? Well, I’m Zaribe. The red macaw parrot soquili you usually see hanging around the two-legger’s place. I’m on a quest for my beloved if you’d wish to hear my plea. Then maybe you can help me.”

Peaches nodded enthusiastically, “Sure. And I’d love to help you whatever your quest is.”

Sweet Stuff smiled with a nod as well. I’d love to hear your quest Zaribe.”

The stallion began his tale, that starting with Celendria’s quest for him. He described each and every soquili he’d met, and how they helped him fill the basket. “And that’s all there is to it. I seek help from others and get one step closer to being by her side.”

Sweet Stuff pondered for a moment looking around her feet. Spying one of her favorite snacks she plucked a spring that wasn’t too large, yet it was full with green life within it. “Well one thing I can offer, especially for a sour tummy is these spearmint leaves. They also form a sort of heart like love, and they make everything smell so nice too”.

She then walked over and placed the spring in the basket, letting it fall slowly on top.

Peaches thought long and hard on a few things to offer, but none had really stuck out and grabbed her. Looking around she grasped frantically for straws. What to give… what to give.

Then she spotted something and smiled, “Well one thing I think you can give her is blue violets such as these. It means you’ll always be faithful and true to her heart in times that she needs you. Plucking her head downward she nipped a nice stem with a couple on it.

Nodding her head to him she shook the dirt from the roots and placed it as well in the basket. Then stepping back she weaseled her way to where she once stood.

Zaribe grinned at both sediments for each carried special meanings that both mares contributed. Spearmint that wafted into his nose was a new added delight, and the violets stood out amidst all the other shining oddities and gifts.

“Thank you both of you. Peaches… Sweet Stuff… Thank you for your lovely gifts. I’m sure my mate will love what you’ve given her. Even though I’ve been by her side most of the time, you’ll see me back in no time around the clearing.”

He nodded to them blowing out softly, “Now I must continue on my journey and hope soon I will be complete in returning to her.”

Peaches nodded, her perked ears swiveling with a swish of her long fluffy tail, “I wish you well Zaribe. Good luck getting back to Tic Tac Toe.”

Sweet Stuff nodded in unison with Peaches, “I agree. I bet she misses you terribly, but she’ll be so happy when you do return. Good luck.”

Zaribe bowed his head as he picked up the basket that he held firmly within his teeth. With a flick of his tail he was off to find a few more caring souls that would bring the basket to its desired fullness. Heading off in a direction of the meadow’s end, he kept high hopes everything would be done by nightfall.

Zaribe grinned standing there as the other approached him. A familiar face maybe speaking in tones of the wintry festive season. Reds, white, and green painted his body with nice spicy appearance of mint or something close.

Zaribe noted he'd glanced this stallion before talking to Celendra, or simply out on his own. Glory was friends with this one's daughter Tori. The parrots assumption was Dyami, an old friend of the herd, thought of as family. A kindred spirit that always seemed so tranquil when ever his presence was near.

"Greetings Dyami. It is I Zaribe from Celendria's herd. How have you been?" Truth be told he didn't know this stallion as well as the ice mare, but he knew his name at least. Maybe the other would know his name as well.

"Im on a quest from Celendria to help find my mate a perfect gift since we just recently accepted one another in love. Now I'm out finishing up the last of what I need to fill the basket and return to her not soon after. I just need to show Celendria I've accomplished my goal." He nodded to Dyami with a very polite gesture and breathed through his nostrils slowly, "Perhaps would you have an idea as to what I could give her ?"

Now he waited hoping he wasn't too impulsive in asking. His mind was furiously wandering for ideas so he could return soon. But was soon fast enough?

Gabriella had been out and exploring the lands close to her mate's home. This was the first time that Mythy had left her by herself while he went to have some male bonding with his father and brother. She thought it was a great opportunity to explore the regions these horses lived in.

As she had wandered for a few hours, she came upon an area where a colorful horse stood. She saw many horses coming and going. She hadn't ever seen so many coming and going except for when she accompanied her two-legger to the human village. Was this where her kind went to make friends? After a short pause, she put a smile on, and she walked right up to where she saw several congregated.

Dyami blinked in surprise that the wind stallion knew his name but then chuckled as the stallion mentioned his friend Celendria. setting the red rose in his mouth on to the ground he lifted his head back up with a small grin. " i'm surprised to hear that my friend Celendria has spoken of me to others and at how quickly you knew it was me though i have no doubt that im not a hard one to recognize." at Zaribe's question his grin grew wider as he knew exactly what he could do to help him out. " i think i have an idea for you Zaribe. i was on my way to give this red rose to my mate but i think its a rather nice idea that you take it for your own mate instead as i tend to give my own mate gifts quiet often. also don't worry i'm sure she wouldn't mind that i gave it to you to give to your own mate. besides i can always get another for her as i know where to get them." lowering his head he picked up the rose that was at his feet and walked over to Zaribe and his basket. after placing the red rose in the basket he lifted his head back up and gave Zaribe a wink. "nothing like a red rose to show you love your mate and i'm sure with all the gifts you have gathered definitely will make your mate shocked and happy. oh and please do say hello to Celendria for me once you see her again."

"Oooh!!! A gift for Tic!" Rowenya exclaims excitedly as she looks around for something that she could contribute to the gifting. She tilts her head toward the fulgurite rock that is laying nearby. She recalls Christabel telling her about the rock that formed by the lightning hitting the beach or sand. A huge smile appears on her face as Rowenya trots over and picks the rock up gingerly. The small winged mare walks back to Zaribe and places the rock in the basket. "This is the stone that is formed by the lightning hitting the beach/sand.. should remind you and Tic of the skies." She smiles happily.

Christabel smiles lightly at her daughter as she looks at Zaribe. "Since she chose the theme of the gifts we are about to give you.... I would like to present you with two feathers.." She plucks two white and black striped feathers from the ground. She places the feathers gingerly under the rock to keep it in the basket. "Feathers.. to remind Tic of a wonderful winged parrot that is going to protect her.." She trails off as she almost added "and the children she is about to have with you"
Christabel just chuckles as she smiles at Zaribe. "I think you better get going if you want to see your beloved soon" She winks at him as she looks at Rowenya. "We don't want to be late for the 'meeting' so come.." She nods to Zaribe then walks by him with Rowenya in tow.

"Ahh well Ah be guessin' ya need some help in findin' a good present. But it be lookin' like ya already have so much." She peered into the basket and nodded aprovingly about both the delicate smeling flowers and the eye catching jewlery. The troll though for a moment about the golden shells she had been hunting down for her daughter. They would look nice... but Malis wasn't sure she wanted to give away all her hard earned efforts, especially as they wern't exactly for herself. "What kind o' thinks ya be lookin' for? Ya be catchin' me at a bad time, ah not be havin' much o' ma stash around 'ere."

Snorting softly she listened to the short version of how he had gathered together quite a large collection before nodding. "Ah be thinkin' it not be t' gifts she be wantin' it be t' stallion. Though ah not be sayin' gifts don't help." The troll chuckled before turning a little more serious. "Why don't ya be thinkin' o' somethin' ya can give ya'self. Instead o' just givin' her t' trinkets and flowers from others maybe ya should give some t'ing from ya own heart too. Ya could think up a poem, or ya can take her somewhere special so she can see some'ting she never be seein' before." Malis had a sudden thought. "Ah be thinkin' that ya might need a bit o' help if ya decide t' take her explorin'. Ah be havin' this treasure map, maybe ya be findin' something special when ya get t'ere. An' ya also be gettin' t' spend time wit' t' one ya care for most." She knew there was nothing better then exploring than exploring with mates who wouldn't stab your back when the treasure was reached. As she had worked out the treasure was hidden in a secluded lagoon, the view would be nice too.

Zaribe bid farewell to Tic's family, well herd she knew and loved very much. Such a wonderful feeling that washed over him in relief that she would be told he was safe from harm, and working very hard to be with her as well. The basket grew heavier day by day which rose his spirits to being with Tic sooner than he would hope. Bit what a mess of jumbled presents lied within that wicker sanctuary. Something just had to be done about the disorganization that was to be the biggest thing he'd ever offer to her.

Then he pondered the subject of foals someday deep in his mind. Would he make a dedicated father or like most stallions become annoyed and let the mare to raise them. Oh heck no... he could never do that to Tic or his future bloodlines. That wasn't like the show offish type parrot that he was. Why he'd want to be right there watching their first steps, or watching the winged ones soar to the skies. That's what he wanted out of life. Family and a future, which he had both nestled deeply in his chest.

His thoughts of family made him almost miss the pretty mare that bloomed like a new spring flower. Tulips adorned her golden locks of mane and tail as they streamed downwards like magical rivers. Her eyes a startling precious blue reminded the parrot of gemstones, so vibrant and shiny. Upon her head there grew a spiral and what was this? Why her wings were like Shaylee's, soft and fluttery. He never would of had the mere thought to ever come across one of such radiance.

This had to be a very special introduction indeed.

Clearing his throat he walked up almost to where she stood, placing the basket safely upon the ground before he began his greeting.

"Good afternoon beautiful spring flower that grows beautifully as she should, I am Zaribe of the jungle," he murmured in a deep tenor voice as a river of mane in red, blue, and yellow swept towards the ground. "And what may I have the permission to ask of you is your namesake?"

Then he spoke once more, "I am on a quest to bring something back to my beloved. An item that will fit in this basket yet symbolize and nurture the love I hold deeply for her. Would you like me to tell you my tale?"

He waited patiently so as not to startle her, for she seemed calm and so very sweet in his eyes.

Zaribe chuckled himself that his mind wasn't failing him were it counted most.
Celendria had recounted most of her acquaintances with the rest of the herd, pointing out colors and personalities so even the flutter butter could understand whom the ice mare was referring to.

"Well Celendria has told most of us, in the herd that is, whom she knows best like Glory's friend Tori, Settia, and of course yourself." He nodded with a peculiar grin as his eyes raised in curiosity as the stallion placed the red rose within the basket. Friendship. Love. A rose was the symbol of one's heart as they willingly offered it to another they cherished. The deep set red along with Tic's striking yellow coat was perfect in contrast and statement.

Zaribe nodded with happiness as another gift was added to his mate's collection. And still those two sugarplums rested safely at the bottom uneaten. Oh the temptation that nipped at his fetlocks and withers daily.
He needed to eat something other than grass or he'd wither away at this rate.

"Of course I will," he grinned with a nod and slight bow of his striking white face upon red. He knew Celendria would be overjoyed that Dyami had helped in his quest too. "The ice mare has entrusted me with this quest, so I'm determined to find just a few more soquili that will help me then I return. Quite simple really. I think she'll be pleased I've done as she asked."

Flicking his tail he showed Dyami the painting upon his rump. Then he noticed the slice of paint missing from the rainbow and parrot.

But how did it happen? No! It couldn't of happened. But it was right there staring back at him.

Zaribe's heart sank feeling as if he let Tic's owner down. Now it wasn't complete, he was afraid to face either of them now. His grin faded into a solemn expression as ears and tail drooped quite heavily.

"Now I've done it.... I can't return with this ruined. What will I do Dyami?"

Suddenly the quest faded from his mind and all that lied there was a broken hearted mare for him being so careless.

Zaribe watched the Christabel and her daughter with an appeasing smile. Both were very cheerful and extremely nice to him thus far. Heck everyone he'd come across in his travels had made him feel just a little more appreciative of everyone around him. Was that what Celendria was trying to tell him through this quest? To trust and learn who all was out there? He knew full well thousands of Soquili contributed to this land and many others. The good, neutral, and even the evil made up the species he was part of.

Rowenya's gift was quite intriging being of the lightning meeting the sand below. Just like himself meeting Tic on that wonderful day. So many memories to ponder through and chortle about. Maybe some would bring tears, while others brought peace too. But all of them were there's to share.

Christabel had granted feathers combined of both light a dark. Red and Yellow. All in the same yet completely different. Protect, yes he desired to protect her throughout their long life ahead of them.

Her mentioning of seeing his beloved brought that familiar grin back to his face after the thoughts that had just accumulated like a fresh snowfall.

"Yes I agree. I should be on my way. Thank you Christabel and Rowenya. Please tell Tic I'm coming home real soon." He then nodded his head to them both with a fun wiggle of the rump, before retrieving the basket to set off on his journey once more.

A present from myself?

He noted that quietly in his mind pondering a bit on what he could possibly give. Once he had fallen in love he was sure that was all that was needed to appease and show her his undying love. But, there was more he desired to give her. The world in a silver bucket, a million stars raining downward in diamonds, a sea of color as they stood side by side amidst one another. A foolish man's dreams to want the world for his soul mate, and yet was it really that childish as it sounded? He would indeed give her something of himself, at least when he thought of it. That had been the sole reason he had approached the elder in the first place. For the parrot, born of the jungle was quite indecisive and very impulsive when he wanted to be.

"Then I will find something to give of myself as I trot homeward bound to the finish of this long journey. I'm just not sure what, but I know I'll find it." He nodded with an achieving grin as it curved his deep muzzle dipped in black.

He peered at her curiously when the map was shown to him rather than the glittering shells. Perhaps an adventure with his Sunny Rainbow was just what they needed. Time to reflect and explore long forgotten places, and even find treasure if they were nimble and quick. For all treasure coves had always contained a price of sorts. A good breathtaking adventure was perfect as a gift to Tic.

"And I'd love to go on an adventure with her when I get back. I miss her so much being so far away," the thought was panging deep in his chest, "I do hope that we'll meet again sometime. I'm sure Tic would love to meet you for giving such a fantastic idea." He beamed and bobbed his head feeling quite ambitious, now knowing what Feena felt when she went looking for treasure and things that glittered like gold or silver.

Finally he looked toward the midday sun, "If I'm to reach the Forrest clearing by tomorrow morning I should be on my way sadly. Though I'd love to stay and talk with you about adventures you went on."He smiled with a curious wink, "I must depart and keep on my path so I make it on time. Promise me you'll go on an adventure with us sometime Malis. I think Tic and I would love the company."

Bowing to her with a gesture of his sweeping neck and mane he proceeded to pick up the basket that now held the treasure map securely in place.

An adventure for us. You wait Tic. Wait for me.

"Thank you Malis. Thanks from the both of us. May you find your treasures and make your daughter happy when you return."

Then with basket in tow he started off nearing closer toward the clearing than he'd been in a long time.

" ah no wonder you where able to know who i was so fast and thank you." Dyami smiled as he was happy he could help Zaribe out in his quest to find gifts for the one he loved. " i agree Celendria will be quiet pleased you have gotten your quest done." titling his head he noticed the painting done on Zarbi's rump that seemed to have gotten a tap messed up some how. seeing how upset Zaribe was he mused over how to fix the situation. " well why not return to the one who made the mark on your rump to have it fixed? i doubt a little stop to have it fixed would hurt anything unless you're pressed for time."

Parue-
Catori prances across the landscape, wondering in her normal ways in search of something to do. With a blink and tilt of her head she came to a stop, seeing something that caught her eye... it was a stallion, large and winged and colored like some great tropical bird. Though she wasn't one to comment on what was normal and what was odd, she herself was colored like one giant peice of candy. Her hair red and green like the colors of christmas, her legs triped like candycanes, and feathers/beads/shells with matching colors decorated her untill she clinked and chimed as she walked.

Something unusual else had caught her eye in her wonderings. Late in the crisp of fall a tiny but determined Flower had still managed to bloom, its petals curled and twisted into swirls protect itself from the oncoming frosts of fall. It had been colored just like herself, a flower of striped red and white, with green to match her own hair. She had managed to pick said flower and hook it the ties on her tail that her feathers were attached to. But now she saw this uniquely colored stallion and her mind wondered away from the oddity of finding a soft spring flower blooming in the cold winds of fall, and she pranced over, tiny crimson hooves sweeping her up to him with a sweet grin on her face. ' Hello there. Now why in the world would you be lugging around that huge basket? " she asked, her ears tilting to the side as she asked, eyeballing the wicker structure with its various contents.

Samedi on the other hand stood quietly and watched the giant stallion. She had hauled one her sons out for this particular adventure and even though he was no please to be dragged around on the escapade he was there none the less. She watched, crimson eyes traped within the black confines of a ghostly glowing skull made her match the halloween atmosphere perfectly. Her main floated on the faint breeze like spider webs so she looked more spectre then soquili, but none the less she had made her way here. The elegant yet dark peice of metal work had been looked over her sons unicorn horn to insure it would not be dropped, and she carefully tuned out his complaints about being used as a "jewlery rack" as she watched the littel christmasmare so bluntly and loudly dance her way up to the stallion.

Misfortune growled and twiched his ears, not at all likeing the feel of metal against the spiraled red horn. A Bracelet had been looped around his horn and rested against his crimson skull. His mother had found it in some abandoned hut miles away, along with several other pieces of metal work that could only have been brought over with the strange saddled soquili from the new world,. but she had found it lovely, and taken it back to her teepee, the curves and loops perfectly fitted for a soquili of normal size, but she was a tiny little thing and it has simply slid off of her hoof. so it stayed unused until now. Leave it to his mother to be a packrat, and leave it to him to end up being a pack-mule. Still, he stood in relative silence waiting for his mother to move, she watched and waited, silent as the grave and he stewed in his own irritation.

Suddenly she frowned and her eyes grew far away as if she was listening to something. A small snort of indignation and a toss of her beaded dreads, Malis came back to earth and peered quizzically at the parrot stallion. As if a decision was made she twitched her shoulder so that the satchel swung forward. "Ah be thinkin' ya be needin' these. Not for ya mate mind you. You be knowin' who these are for when the right time comes." With a careful flourish she pulled a few of the golden shells she had been gathering and gently dropped them into the basket. "Now ya best be off, ah be catchin' ya later, you can tell me what she be thinkin' o' t' gifts when I next see ya. Ah be meaning t' explore the jungles, they be seemin' like home t' me." The troll gave a farewell nod and started her own way down the beach after picking up the shell that had been hidden by her hoof. The troll was sure her daughter wouldn't mind and she had plenty of time to find some to replace the gifts given, Malis began her search once more.

Gabriella gave a soft flapping of her lips as horses do sometimes when feeling slightly restless. She turned her head blushing and feeling modest. "My name is Gabriella. Thank you for the lovely compliment. You know, I do have something I could add to your gathering."

She crooned her head to the side and with her teeth gently nibbled a bloom off of her hair. After loosening the stem, she slid out the flower and dropped it in his basket. "That is one of my tulips. They were made a part of me when I was very young. While I was young, someone must have planted seeds for them in my hair. Whenever one falls off or is plucked, another grows in its place."

Go see the one that painted it? Oh no he could never do such a thing for Tic and her two-legger would see his carelessness. No he had to think on this a bit more.

"Maybe Celendria would know what to do when I get back. Perhaps that two-legger... what was her name? Ah Tirranna". Yes that was her name. She was capable of arts like the baskets she put color on. Dyami did have the right idea about seeking the two-leggers for help.

"Ah yes. Well maybe not that certain two-legger, but the one living near the clearing might. Great thinking Dyami." He smiled with a few bobs of his head as if he were an actual parrot.

Looking at the setting sun approaching he nodded to the other in agreement, "Yes, I am a bit pressed for time so I must be off, but I do thank you for the gift and your advice. Ever think of going for eldership? You'd be great at it like Celendria. Take care Dyami, I'm heading home to see my waiting love."

Nodding his head downward he picked up the basket admiring all the glittering, beautiful, and wondrous items he'd been given. Night would bring him to morning, just in time for a hearty breakfast for his now growling stomach. "Ah I feel like I could eat a horse. No wait... that's just wrong."

His humor was never ending and still peaked when he least expected it.

Dyami just gave a good chuckle at Zaribe as he mentioned the eldership thing when not too long ago he had talked with Celendria over it. " your welcome and i might have. also ether way i hope you get it fixed and cya around Zaribe. i do hope the gifts you have gathered will be pleasing to your mate." giving another chuckle he went on his way after he watched Zaribe leave. it had been a very interesting meeting indeed and one he wouldn't forget.

Zaribe liked Gabriela for she was calm and passive, seeing things in life and admiring beauty. Beauty. That's what spoke of her when his eyes soaked in the pastel warmth she released within her aura.

"Very well." He began with a deepness that rumbled within his deep chest.

"The day my mate and I admitted we loved each other, I decided she was deserving of a perfect gift. One that radiated her beauty and my love for her.
So, I set out seeking something that would support and prove what I sought. But, to no avail could I locate anything, always many things that leaped out saying they were the one.

He mused to himself now of a filled basket, definitely would be a chore picking the best. Why couldn't he just savor the moment and give them all to her, excluding the shells that were given to him my Malis of course.

"Celendria listened to my plea, asking me to set on a quest. To ask as many soquili if they could aide me finding things. Yes, I'm a scatterbrained so its difficult to decide really. So, here I am all over the land seeking aide from many a friendly face. I've been gifted for Tic with things I would have never pondered, and now your tulip shall be another that shall bring my mate more beauty than she ever would have imagined. So pure and perfect my Sunny Rainbow is. Though gifts to adorn her with a dazzling sight, she'll always be perfect in my eyes."

He bowed his head smelling the day grow old, time was fleeting so fast for him. But his love would be under his wing come tomorrow morning. This he couldn't wait for soon enough.

"I know that this is a short meeting, and I do apologize, but the sooner I will return, the sooner I can see my Tic Tac Toe again." He then bowed his head to grab the basket and paused, "I hope you find a mate that is as wonderful as mine. Any stallion should be lucky to have caring beautiful females that make them feel like they could take on the world."

Finally he spoke one last time after he captured his breath, "Thank you Gabriela. May you know happiness as I have. Please come and see us sometime. I'm sure Tic would love to meet someone that's been so generous to give something of her own."

Picking up the basket he stepped toward the shadow of the forest he knew so well. Only a bit more to go, then he'd be in Celendria's words of how well he succeeded.

Zaribe was plain exhausted as he neared his sanctuary, which he referred to as home. Everything was weighing down the wicker that he kept firmly in his muzzle. It was so full now he wondered if it was time to return yet or not. Oh the irony of wondering what to do. The thought confused the stuffing out of the poor bird Soquili.

Catori's advance toward him soon made Zaribe realize that others were there to aid his quest once more. Strange how everyone was appearing out of thin air now that his task was almost completed. She reminded him of the sweet peppermint that was handed out among the great gift-giving season. The green and red were so festive it made him salivate. Cursing quietly within himself he warned not to think of food when he talked with another soquili. Ah such a bad habit he needed to break someday.

"Greetings mare of the..." pausing he noticed a familiar face standing off to the side, her eyes glowing with his every moment. Samedi. Now there was a soquili he hadn't seen in ages. He'd never say that she had always unnerved him with those eyes, but she was Celendria's adopted daughter after all. So tongue in cheek on this matter and for goodness sake stop ignoring the candy colored one.

Lowering his gaze away from the ghostly mare he cleared his throat, "I'm Zaribe of the jungle. I apologize for breaking my train of thought. I recognized a familiar face standing over there within the shadows." Creepy, that's still what he thought of the little deep colored angel that watched him and the herd daily. A skull base for a head and eyes that glowed with evil intent. Still how polite was he being uncomfortable that she stood watching him. “Greetings Samedi. I see that you are well.” It wasn’t the best introduction, but he was trying to be civil and not irritate her. Celendria would have him made into a rug if he ever remotely mentioned anything bad about her children.

He lastly noticed the taller male that seemed agitated. Ah this must be Samedi’s offspring, he thought to himself. "And greeting to you as well", he motioned to the stallion hoping he wouldn't have a nasty remark for Zaribe being so polite.

Clearing his throat he bowed to all of them, “I’m on a quest to find my beloved something that is most perfect, fitting her with beauty and my love that I hold dear for her. Celendria my elder has asked me to meet other soquili, and ask of them to contribute a gift that I may bestow upon her. As long as it fits within this wondrous basket, then I shall be one step closer to being rewarded of going to my mate’s side.”

He then looked at them in anticipation that each would help him fulfill his goal. So many memories the stallion was procuring, it was hard not to let all the faces of the others come and go in his journey. He held much appreciation for each and every one, hoping that they too may feel the joy and rapture of being with the one they loved.

Parue-
“Well hi there Zarbie “ She said with a smile and listened to what he had to say. Her cheeks faded to a faint blush as she listened to his romantic tale. She always was a sucker for the romantic tail she felt inclined to help. Then suddenly a thought came crashing back into her head, making her give a happy little squeak. While he was distracted talking to the wraith like soquili she turned and tried to reach her tail. She ended up running in circles twice but eventually snatched the perfect little blossom from the leather feather tie, and turned back to the stallion.

There was no better symbol of undying love then a tiny flower having bloomed in the harshness of the fall frosts. With the delicate white and red and red rose blossom in her mouth she carefully put it in the basket, the striped petals nestling in with a collection of other flowers that he had seemed to already have collected. ‘ I found this earlier today, but I think you would find more use of it then I would, with me it would only wilt and serve no purpose but to keep my feathers company. “ She said, hopeing that the curled new blossom would not seem unfit for his quest. “

“ I hope your quest is successful “ she said, her smile sweet as the candy she mimicked.

Samedi cast a glance at the other small mare but otherwise paid her no heed. Nodding to Zarbie she started twords him, slowly and gracefull, her hooved silent on the ground as if they never touched, the faint sound of crunching leaves wisked away by her soft whispery voice that seemed to dround out everything else while still manageing to be quiet.

“ You seem to be doing fine as well Zarbie of the jungle. My mother told me of your quest and my guess was right in thinking you would come back this way.” Her hair floated around her as if caught on some phantom breeze, not looking behind her to make sure her son followed.

Misfortune sighed and followed, not looking at all too happy. “Hey “he said in response to the other stallion. He opened his mouth as if to make a sarcastic remark but as he came up beside his mother she glanced at him out of the corner of her eyes and he reluctantly shut his mouth. The few creatures in this world that could make him shut his trap so quickly were his mother, and his grandmother. Even his father allowed some witty banter.

“ You haul the spoils of your journey back to your mate I see ‘ she said, glowing eyes scanning over the basket, still speaking even though her eyes were not on zarbie ‘ We brought you something to add to your collection.”

And as if on queue Misfortune lowered his head, so the bracelet slid down his horn, right until it was resting at the tip. He swished his tail behind him in swift whip like motions, but otherwise he was still, his eyes narrowed at the other stallion as if daring him to make him hold this pose for long. Damned if he would be a jewelry rack for some tropical colored feather boy.

Graceangel-
As the red colorful winged soquili departed from her, she bowed her head with soft pink on her cheeks. In her demure way, she drank in the serenity of the moment like a long drink of cool water on a parched throat. A warmth filled her cheeks when he mentioned finding a mate. Only just recently had she found one; she knew exactly what he meant.

When she lifted her head watching him leave, she admired his willingness to want to do something so thoughtful for his beloved. She mused to herself, "maybe what he was looking for... has been in his heart all along. He just had to go off finding objects before he'll know that his presence and love will be the greatest thing he will ever give her, giving to her everyday."

She smiled and turned to head on her way down the stream. She was so happy to have a wonderful story to share with Mythril when he came back from his family gathering.

~Parue

As his eyes stayed transfixed on Samedi and her son, he didn't notice Catori attaining a flower that rested within her leather tail tie. Though when she spoke of its importance his ears paid more attention to her serene hopeful words. Delicacy was what Tic was to him as a flower is to an entire field. Perfect, precious, subtle, yet she shined outward like a wishing star. She was everything to him, and no matter what the future brought, he'd never leave her side.

"And I shall appreciate that flower for it was bestowed from your own giving. Pure, precious, perfect, that's what I see with color for happiness. Even though Tic is bright, funny, and my love that fills my heart, she is still a flower that blooms like no other. Thank you."

He felt sure of his words, a new sense of self worth filling his senses completely as they made him a better stallion. Yes, he still was a goof ball, but that was the way he was and always would be Zaribe. He just was learning to be a bit more conversational with others.

Samedi approaching him caused his withers to twitch a bit, but you'd never notice with his wings blocking them. Thank goodness for feathery appendages, right? He held his bated breath, exhaling in politeness. "Yes actually it has. I'm so amazed how many strangers simply offered their belongings and presents to help me. I suppose Celendria was right in suggesting this journey. Samedi you have a wonderful mother, you should appreciate that in your heart." He then smiled and nodded as Misfortune offered the gift of Samedi.

His eyes widened at the sight of the glittering bracelet as it hung loose from the other stallion's crimson horn. A gift from Samedi, now there was something that caught the scarlet male off guard. She had to know he was uneeasy around her, though he did hide it rather well. Did his eyes deceive him perhaps, the parrot wondered this trying to figure out the little skull faced ebony mare.

The son wasn't much better on the eyes, holding a hostility well irritation just standing there. Zaribe wasn't going to query why Misfortune had been drugged along, or why he was made into a displayed jewelry rack either.
Nodding the parrot stallion walked over gingerly and reached over to retrieve the shining accessory. The metal tasted odd in his mouth, a twinge of strangeness gnawing at his tongue in coldness. For a moment he was reminded of the New World horses that were bonded to the pale faces. Cold strips of metal called bits were placed within their muzzles for direction, as one sat upon their backs.

Zaribe would never consider anyone on his back. He was a free spirit, a flying creature never designed for domestication as they were. Sometimes the great red stallion would pity those poor steeds.

Placing the bracelet within the basket, Zaribe blew out softly, "Thank you Samedi, Misfortune. You've also helped me as well to begin my trip home." He nodded then to the stallion, a signal for him to be himself, and not stand there like some floofy priMadonna displaying his mother's wares. Even Zaribe wouldn't tolerate that.

Finally raising his head he gazed upon all three of them and nodded one final last time, "I must depart, for night is arriving and I wish to be homeward bound before sunrise. Do promise me you all will come and see my mate and myself someday. I'm sure she'd love to chat and thank you for all your kind words and generosity."

Smiling he took in their appearances once more before he finally set out for the clearing where Celendria waited. Flicking his tail in a wispy motion back and forth, he picked up the basket and started home.

Rein_Carnation
Finally the morning was on its way as the twilight was giving into a brighter sunrise. The black canvas above was fading into the most gorgeous array of warm colors he could ever imagine. It was finally here, that day of reckoning that any questor could look forward to.

Zaribe was finally home.

Smiling with a swing in his step he walked rather proudly letting the basket sway gently back and forth. The parrot was rather proud of himself, seemed he traveled all over the land in a few short days. Wouldn’t Celendria be ecstatic with what he had to show her? So many helpinghooves and smiling curious faces. He simply couldn’t recount the times that he repeated his tale over and over. Somehow the scarlet winged felt surer of himself now more than ever.

As he rounded the bend there stood two familiar faces talking quietly. One being a fair skinned unicorn with deep brown curled long tresses. Her eyes set softly in the same color as her elegant mane that lied within an ornate detailed headdress circlet upon her forehead, around her ears. She finally was adorned with a silken white cape hanging gingerly soft upon her shoulders and back. Finally her tail was that of a lion sort that filled into a full silken tuft of her gorgeous hair, dressed in savory browns. Arwen was always a favorite of his for she was mysterious and always seemed so self -preserved.

The other was a winged carrying a fair coat that dressed in an odd outfit. Pink for that matter that fit on her body nicely. Her back feet carried what looked to be shoes, with white wings as soft as an angel’s own appendages. The tresses were mid length for a Soquili dyed in a reddish cranberry color as her violet eyes set off her whole temperament. Finally around her neck there hung a golden pendent. Kairi was always sweet and understanding, even to the silly outspoken parrot.

There was no mistaking that these two were indeed Arwen and Kairi, two strangers that arrived to the clearing at separate times. The only difference was Kairi had a nasty little rodent follow her, which might he add liked to steal things as well. He better not try anything with my basket. Zaribe was quite firm with this.

Stepping forward he nodded to them displaying the basket proudly, “Greetings Arwen and Kairi. I have returned from my quest with success!” It was quite a funny sound he made, for the basket still held firmly within his teeth. So talking with a handle in his mouth did have its disadvantage over his speech.

Arwen’s ears swiveled towards him as a light smile traced upon her face. So the parrot had completed the elder’s quest, there was something to be surprised at. “Greetings of the morn to you as well Zaribe of the jungle. I take it that your journey was quite eventful?” she spoke with a soft expression upon her face, a radiance the mythical unicorn held within her.

Kairi smiled and nodded her head to the brightly colored parrot Soquili. He always made her smile as Sora did when they were together. Who couldn’t like an overly showy stallion born to be flamboyant and bold in life? “Hello Zaribe. You look quite charming, did you get everything you were asked to find?” she closed her eyes with a tilt of her head watching him.

Zaribe looked around warily, then set down the basket working his upper and lower jaw from being numb. Only one more trip he’d have to lug all this with him, and deep in the parrot’s heart, he knew it was well worth it.

“Yep. I filled it to the top with many things given along the way. It’s become so heavy that I felt it filled enough now. Sure a few more things wouldn’t hurt, but I’m not being greedy. I’ve finished what I started and,” he paused glancing around again, “I’m starving.”

Where was that little monster? There was a good swift kick or bite waiting if he tried anything.

“Well I’m glad everything worked out for you Zaribe. I have heard that your mate is anxious for you to return. But before you head off I’d like to gift you with something of my own, if I may.” She turned her hooves to the West, walking slowly with much elegance and grace. Stopping near a tree there hung a pouch made of a leathery make. Pulling at it she dropped the contents upon the ground which was only some sort of jewelry it looked like. Leaves made on a finer metal. A medallion possibly.

“I present to thee, Zaribe of the jungle, a mallorn leaf representing the great tree of its kind. There are no other leaves found that shape of its kind. You and your mate shall be blessed by spirit and the bond you share when both or one of you wear these. May both of you be protected and forever happy in your days with one another.” She stood rather still as a solitary breeze with the scent of fall wafted through, gently blowing through her long tresses.

Zaribe smiled and nodded his head to the soft-spoken unicorn whose voice carried quite deep yet mystical. Taking the leaves he placed them in the basket along with everything else. Bowing to her he smiled with pride,” And I know Tic and I shall live happily forever in our days. Now that you’ve granted us a blessing from the spirits themselves, I feel we’ll be eternal in love and respect.”

“And I too have something to grant you Zaribe.”

Kairi in her own way walked over slowly to some sort of box and nosed it open. Reaching in she brought out one of the oddest looking things Zaribe had ever seen. It was a weird fruit that the stallion had never seen before, shaped like a star.

“This is Papou Star fruit. It is said that when two creatures share the fruit, their destinies are intertwined and they become apart of each other's lives,” she nodded bending her head downward to reach the basket, placing it lightly on top.

Zaribe thought of the sweetness or tart inside that fruit had, and groaned at how hungry he was thinking about it.

Arwen shook her head in a light lyrical laughter, “Zaribe, We’ve kept you long enough. Go see Celendria. I’m sure she knows you’ve arrived by now."

Kairi nodded with approval, “Indeed. You worked really hard to get this far. And Tiranna has breakfast waiting for you as well. So go relax and enjoy yourself. You earned it Zaribe.”

The stallion grinned and nodded back, “Thanks both of you. Now, its complete.” Leaning down to pick up the basket he snorted and stepped ahead. There stood the ice mare standing near the girl cooking by the fire.
What a sight they were to his deep eyes. So tired and hungry his palate was watering with protest.

He was truly home and at the end of his promise to the elder.

Rein_Carnation
The smell was something the parrot couldn’t resist as he made his way towards the cooking pot where the Indian maiden stood. Her hair wove in a braid that snaked down her back in a deep black. Around her waist hung awhile mink type fox pelt that made her petite form look more full. Long slender legs fit upon a figure that held creativity and agility when there were things called upon. A graceful player of music, her slim fingers could create a melody with the slightest breath she blew into the instrument.

As he neared closer Tirranna looked upward, letting her fingers pull away from the spoon she was stirring with. A gasp escaped her lips as she smiled at the ice mare that stood idly by. “Colorful Bird has returned mare of ice.”

Celendria chuckled walking smoothly toward him, her eyes cool and clear, “Well done Zaribe of the Jungle. I’ve heard of your progress, and admire your will to strive this far to the end.” She stood now in front of him reaching outward to retrieve the basket. ‘For now we shall eat a good meal, revive your strength, and let you rest before you return to your mate.”

Taking the basket she walked in front of him slowly with smooth strides. Her mane and tail flowing soft and moving like a grand waterfall, cascading towards the ground. She seemed to not falter carrying such a heavy carrier in her mouth, though looking delicate as ice she hid a deep strength at flowed in her heart and in mind. Finding a tall stump, out of the looming ferret’s reach, she placed it safely on top. Saissis’ familiar Istas , the white, purple, and teal raccoon planted herself near the stump to guard the treasures. It was all just too tempting for a thief not to advance closer.

Zaribe followed the mare, staying back to let her have as much walking room as needed. He noted that Tirranna had already set up a table with various treats and drinks almost like a buffet. The stallion’s eyes went wild as he waited for the okay to indulge. Shaylee’s sugarplums had sustained him for a while, but then it was random grass and other things when he was hungry.

The maiden nodded extending a hand to the scarlet bird, it was him reward for doing what the mare of ice had told him to do. She wondered still where the yellow rainbow was, but understood not too soon after. A painting had been applied to his rump, one that depicted a bird and a rainbow. But, she also noticed that it was smudged with no lacquer to seal it.

Zaribe saw the signal and ate to his heart’s content. Various berries, sweet corncakes, and sweet treats filled his belly till he could eat no more. Yawning, the stallion stretched his wings as his eyes fell heavily. Then he lied down, letting his head stretch out amongst the fall leaves and wintry grass.

Tirranna shook her head but understood that the parrot had not eaten or slept in quite a few days. Patting the icy mare, she went into the teepee grabbing paints, lacquer, and a rough brush within her long arms. Mixing desired berries and lacquer, she created the colors she’d need to fix his ruined symbol.

Then the maiden with lithe fingers began to softly brush the stallion’s coat, uplifting the dirt and grime he’d acquired wherever he had gone. Nettles from a forest, sand from the ocean, so many things that he’d taken along with him. She smiled softly continuing to brush down the now snoring stallion. Pulling gently upon his certain torn feathers she removed the ones blotched, making them more organized and perfectly straight. A long one that she pulled loose stayed in her hand for a few moments, looking at the basket she smiled for an idea popped into her head. “I’ll save this for later. You sleep for awhile colorful bird.”

Then she bathed him, a soft warmth of water combined with jasmine and lavender petals, making his coat shine the beautiful red it once had been. When that was fully dry she set to work on the symbol., making it right once more.

“Beautiful colorful bird. You took her as a mate I see.”

Touching upon the original she painted the detail, filling in the gaps where they were smudged and broken. The paint mixed with the lacquer now would become practically permanent. He could do just about anything and it would never rub off. When satisfied she stood up on her long legs holding the long tri-colored feather and her paints. Looking at the ice mare she nodded and walked in for the night.

Celendria pulled out a blanket and covered the stallion gently as he lie upon the hardened ground. Seemed he’d traveled to the ends of the land on her words, simple gestures of friendliness and kindness that were used to summon aid for his quest.

She was indeed proud the parrot had finally become a stallion.

“Sleep well Zaribe of the jungle. In the morning you will describe everything you experienced, and then I’ll send you home to your waiting mate for I think she has something of her own to tell you dear one.”

Folding her legs she lied next to him, her cool serene eyes watching over him as he slept peacefully throughout the night, and soon into the morning.

Rein_Carnation
Opening his eyes another night had passed into morning, light flickering into his subconscious and eyesight. There was a blanket draped halfway over him and the warmth of a cool bodied elder was pressed against him sleeping peacefully. The familiar smell of the cooking pot wafting toward him as the young maiden stirred it thoroughly.

Celendria stirred slowly hearing the stallion’s first morning grunt. Rolling to her feet she stood stretching and yawning with a soft sigh. “You slept well Zaribe? How are you feeling this day? Able to go to Tic Tac Toe, or shall you rest another day colorful adventurer?” She mused as she bent downward to retrieve the blanket so he could stand.

Zaribe smacked his lips, rolling to his own feet. Stretching his wings he yawned and grunted. “Well enough Elder Celendria. I don’t think I could stand being from her another day. I’ve missed her so and am ready to be by her side once more.”

“Very well” She nodded with a soft breath that she blew outward, “Then you shall eat and speak to me what you’ve experienced in your long journey. I want to hear of those you’ve met, what you’ve seen, all over anything that comes to mind. Tirranna is going to help you organize your treasures, so you’ll have a more easier to carry basket.”

Tirrana walked over and let her fingers touch upon his velvety muzzle, scratching them in a playful manner. “Eat well colorful bird. Keep your strength for the way home.” She held up a bag mixed with heated mash, berries, and sweet honey she slowly placed over his ears, letting the long strap rest over the crown of his head. A remedy to revive and keep equines healthy and strong.

Zaribe didn’t protest, eating every last bit that his stomach now felt revived with more nourishment and happiness. Opening his maw he belched rather loudly then blinked.

A funny laughter was heard from a familiar face, “Yep. Still the same old Zaribe I see. Woooooooow that was loud.” Shaylee chuckled carrying a bag in her mouth as she trotted up to him. “Thought you might be hungry when you got back, so uh here have some more.”

Zaribe chuckled flicking his tail back and forth, indeed he did feel much better.

Celendria smiled as she motioned for the flutter and the parrot to follow her. Already the maiden was emptying the basket of all its contents. Her eyes lightened at the trinkets, flowers, and even two remaining sugarplums that sat within the pile. “Wow Colorful bird. So many things you returned with for your mate. Lets make it easier to carry.”

Placing things neatly out on the blanket, Tirranna attended to the flowers with water in the meantime.

Celendria then seated herself on her haunches, then gestured both the flutter and the parrot to do the same.
When they had done so she spoke to them both, “Zaribe of the jungle, you have fulfilled a promise and have opened my eyes to the dedication you posses. In your doing so you have proved to myself and many others you are capable of great things.” She nodded her head to him and smiled, “Now, indulge upon me all you’ve experienced. The happiness, the wonderment, the mystery of places you’ve visited.”

Now she'd hear from his own words, and even Shaylee who’s curiosity lingered with her wanted to hear the tale as well.

Now Zaribe would begin.

Rein_Carnation
Where to begin when a journey had finally closed, where heart and soul had become your one true guide in life. Dedication and deepest love for someone you profoundly confessed your heart to forever in your lifetime. This was his time. His memory would unfold like the opening of a long awaited book.

Clearing his throat he began in his deep throaty voice, and smiled deeply as he weaved his tale with ears eager to listen.

“When I sat out the first day, I had no idea what or who I’d encounter in days to come.” He smiled turning to face the little flutter grinning wildly back at him. “Shaylee was the first to offer her sugarplums as a gift, five in total. I could eat three as long as two were saved for my mate.”

He nodded in thanks to Shaylee than began once more.

“Next I encountered a mare that reminded me of the sunsets I’d seen from a foal till now. Soft in her words and elegant in her ways, she offered me a feather tipped in blue and golden. Because it symbolized the parrot I am. A piece of me that was given to my Sunny Rainbow, from one called Ayelet”

Shaylee chuckled to herself yet her eyes never wavered from his speech.

“My travels lead me to the ocean where a great stallion reigned colored of the Sea herself. His offering was a piece of the Sea, a shining shell that washed upon the shore wrapped in seaweed like a present. So much like the water that surrounded him, he reminded me of the sea itself. He is known as Mizu”

“Wow… a Sea colored stallion.” Shaylee was thoroughly entranced at the idea.

“Then I met a unicorn whose beauty was enough to make me feel calm and subdued. Her hair curled in silken ringlets as white roses layered like a touch of frosting. How she shined like a diamond in the closing night. Her gift she presented to me was a white rose from her very person. Her name was Starla”

Celendria nodded and smiled, “Please continue”.

“My travels past the ocean into the meadows brought me to a mare whose coat was golden and light, while the darker haired stallion that was with her was deep and mysterious. The mare offered a beaded necklace as the stallion offered a shiny rock for Tic. Their names were Jean Claude and Esperanza.”

“In my travels I met a flutter and winged who liked adventuring. She, being small and frail with green tresses. The stallion was overly large with the biggest feet I’ve ever seen dressed in the weirdest clothing.
The flutter was named Feena offering the healing pendent Amethyst. The stallion by the name of Yuuri offered a beautiful crystal ball.”

“Holy wow! A stallion with big feet and a flutter you say?” Shaylee’s eyes went incredibly wide.

“Next I ran into the grown children of Andromeda. Lyra and Cassiopeia were happy to offer gifts of dandelions and while lilies. I remember them as foals, but I must say they shine like the heavens above.”

He paused to stretch his wing sniffing the strange scent about him. Was it just his imagination or did he smell cleaner?

“Walking deeper into the meadow I ran across a wonderful winged named Aurete, whose coat shone black as his face carried a white unique mask. His gift was offered from himself and his Godsire Silbalto. A gift of gemstones.”

Celendria nodded once more taking in his reactions and happy thoughts that had stayed within his mind.

“Next was something that made me chuckle for I ran into a friend and her daughter of yours great elder Celendria. Frosta and Izzie were delighted to see me. And oh how they told me Tic was excited for my return. Bleeding Heart Flowers and amber were their gifts to Tic”.

Celendria nodded, “Ah Frosta. I see that she and her daughter are doing well then. I shall have to visit when the winter passes back to the mountains once more.”

“Next were a father and daughter that also knew my mate. Zahariah and Zaiacate also asked if I was the one Tic had fallen for. Hee hee oh course I said yes. An arrowhead and an Amethyst heart were their gifts”.

“I see” Celendria nodded to another set from Tic’s herd.

“And even then there was another mother daughter set named Chrisabel and Rowenya that were asking about me and Tic. So many that knows about me. You’d think I was famous, “he grinned with a cheeky smile, “Anyway, they offered a sky meets earth rock and striped feathers.”

Shaylee giggled, “Whoo…small world we live in huh?”

“my next encounter was a troll soquili named Malis. She had the most interesting hair might I say. Her offering was a treasure map, an adventure for the both of us when we are able. Also a set or golden shells were given for something in the future.”

“Whoah. A troll? Thought they were merely superstition?” the flutter mentioned with a tilt of her head.

“Next was a familiar face to you and I Celendria. It was Dyami whom offered a rose, red as blood and deep as the love we share.” Pausing Zaribe frowned and became distant, immediately he swung his head around to his rump. “Huh? It’s not… I don’t understand.”

Celendria smiled, “Tirranna fixed it for you while you slept Zaribe. Now its permanent.”

“Oh really? I was worried about that. Anyway in the large meadow I met two faces that may have been familiar. One was a blue mare sweet as candy, and a plucky usdia named Peaches. Spearmint and blue violets were their offerings.”

“Ooh an usdia. They’re bigger than flutters sometimes. Bet she was really cute.” Shaylee bobbed her head and continued listening.

“Next I ran into a beautiful flutter that carried a horn. Though I never saw her kind before, Gabriela was most beautiful as she shimmered in the sun’s rays. Her gift was a tulip that grew in her own tresses.”

“Oh man a flutter with wings, I’d give a sugarplum tree to have a horn.” Looking to Celendria she giggled.

“Before returning home I met three more soquili. One named Catori, Samedi, and her son Misfortune. Their offerings were a striped flower and a beautiful ankle bracelet.”

“Samedi? Oh I need to get in contact with my daughter soon” Celendria nodded listening, knowing his tale was finally soon written and ready.

“Finally, as my exhausted hooves came into view of what I desired most, Arwen and Kairi gifted the last two things. Mallorn leaf pendants and Papou star fruit. Then I returned to see you as I have promised.” He breathed a sigh of relief that everything his memory held safely didn’t betray his thoughts.

“And you Zaribe have done as asked. Have you discovered which was the perfect present for her in your journey?” She smiled serenely watching him with interest, this was the final test.

Zaribe thought long and hard, so many things he’d seen and acquired, yet none could compare to his own light that made that beautiful mare smile. Nothing could ever replace that feeling of her shining eyes staring up in the sky for the one she loved.

“I am the perfect present. Nothing can compare be it a shell, to flowers, or even precious stones. She loves me for who I am, and that will never change. No matter what happens, what glitters over my own vibrant red. I know that she will love me till the day our lives extinguish to another realm.”

Celendria smiled her eyes shining with proud tears for the stallion that once thought of everything finally saw the one thing he sought for. Now he was ready to go home to the one waiting. She is the mother of his future children, the light of his existence.

Tirrana stepped over patting Zaribe, as she handed him a freshly organized basket. Two apples were placed inside along with something she held in her hand, “Colorful bird this is my gift to you and the sunny one. Colorful birds and rainbows.”

Celendria nodded blinking her tears away, “Go now Zaribe of the jungle. Tic awaits your arrival with every bated breath she musters. Go and be by her side once more.”

Zaribe took the basket and bowed to them with a grin as his head swung up proudly. Then with a surge as he kicked off the ground, he leaped toward the great cerulean sky on his way to be by her side once more. His final words that lifted like a page turning to the end of a book, “I love you Tic, Now and forever.”

And so ends the journey of finding what he sought. Perhaps someday when his foals had foals of their own, he’s come to retell this journey and relive that which he’d never forget thanks to all who helped him achieve his goal.
