Now this hallway had a weight to it that she wasn't comfortable with. Bobbi wrapped her arms around herself and just carried on with a sense of worry. She'd been told this was where she'd get a partner, a weapon to help her in the fight she signed up for. The further she walked, Bobbi swore it got darker and darker until she couldn't see two feet in front of her. Squinting hard, she put a hand to the wall and tried to feel it out.

The feeling in her gut wasn't ominous, not in a bad way, just.. it felt really heavy and fluttering. Fear of the unknown, she supposed. Bobbi's red painted nails felt the wall out, feeling how cool it was before the light was suddenly back. She had to take a moment to adjust herself, shifting from foot to foot, her heels clattering on the floor lightly, listening to the creepy echo.

"Why do I always do everything alone?" She muttered to herself, groaning mentally. Alone was never good.

Finally she looked around herself, taing in the warm room and gave a little smile. "Okay, not so bad. Come on Bobbi, they wouldn't try to kill you your first week here, right?" At least, she hoped that was the case. Who in their right mind would try to kill their fresh recruits when you needed them for a war on what went bump in the night? A nervous laugh bubbled it's way from her chest, up her throat, and out of her lips before she swallowed and shook her head. Okay. She looked around further and saw that there were tablets glowing.

Wait. Tablets were glowing?

Curiosity got the best of this kitten and she walked foward and ran her hand over a few of those lights, watching them die off as if it were saying 'not you'.

These tablets.. There were swords, hammers, shields, knives, some weird looking guns, lances, and even spears. She paused at one spear and then tapped a finger on that specific one. Her nail clicked lightly before the light seemed to radiate brighter and she felt a caressing whisper in her head. That was the only way she could discribe it. Bobbi realized she probably should have been more startled than she was, but it didn't feel evil or entirely unfamiliar somehow.

The light engulfed her, blinded her for a moment and then in both of her hands she felt a slender pole. Opening her eyes, she peeked out and blinked at the very pretty spear in her hands. It had antlers, and honestly didn't look like a spear she'd seen before. It was pretty.

"I'm ...sorry? Wait. ..Are you the spear?"

There was a laugh in her head that was nice and relaxing.

"So you're my partner. Not what I expected, but yeah. I can handle this. So... we should probably get things settled soon. Lots to talk about. I'm Bobbi."

"..Yeah, okay. So. You're talking to me in my head and you're a spear. Uhm. ...So how powerful are you?"

The giggle made Bobbi grin and she shrugged a little more.

Thinking about that, Bobbi nodded a bit and just grinned. "Fair enough. So. I should probably go back to my room. We can talk more there."

With that, Bobbi held Gladys in her hand, and rest it against her shoulder before wandering out the way she came.
