Exquisite brown ashwood banisters run the room's interior, leading a cascade of stairs to a rather elegant overhang jutting out from the second floor. A replica of a ship's wheel sits front and center of the interior balcony, as if awaiting a captain to take the helm.

The picturesque outdoors framed by the large windows could almost be mistaken for paintings, which, combined with the artfully arranged furniture decorating the room, rendered the space almost a piece of art itself. Plush sofas and roomy recliners call out to any wandering residents looking for a spot of tea, a nice conversation spot, or a quick nap.

A board, half glossy white and half spongy cork, is posted near the arched doorway, awaiting visitors.

Kujira came out of his room, hoping to find a warm spot in the common room to read before he had to go to this meet and greet thing he was suppose to do. He was already in his royal robes and felt a bit silly in them, but he wanted to finish the chapter he was reading. He was reading a new cook book his mother had picked up for him and sent him from the human world. It was titled 'Nerdy Nummies'. He found the book rather cute and wanted to finish learning to make the homemade smores that looked like little text books. He stopped when he noticed the girl in there as well. He was about to leave when he noticed her book she had. "I know that one... I read it before..." He spoke softly, he was rather shy for a dragonkin.

"I... I said I've read that book before when... when I was younger." He watched her reaction, finding it odd. She seemed to love food as much as his uncle did. His ears shifted through his messy silver hair, causing the earring on his ear to jingle softly. At her offer to go, he nodded slowly. "I... I have to get my little sister... she's over in the Cherry dorms... I'll... I'll see you there." With a polite bow to her, he headed out of the dorms and towards Cherry dorms to go get his sister.
