Sabine was out and about again on another solo patrol. She was still a bit shaken from her last one that had not gone AT ALL WELL, but she wasn't about to let that get her down. She knew the only way she was going to get better was constant practice. She couldn't rely on others all the time. She stopped at her usual favorite park, and started to sense for auras, wanting to make sure that the park was at least clear before moving on. She wasn't going to lie though - she was hoping for some white moon auras over chaos auras. She would love to make some new friends - and soon.

Since her awakening, Kastra hag no been out on patrol. Heavens only knew that her means of being tossed into this world of justice had not been an easy one. After all, when one is attacked and told that they would have their soul taken by force, that tended to make a person abit more wary of others. This night she had decided to give patrol a try, she sitting among the shadows of a tall, willow tree. Hey hair hung in dark, raven, waves down her back and along the grass beneath her. She had focused her mind, reaching out, trying to feel those that were near. She had learned what chaos felt like. The burning heat of their power on her skin, made it crawl. She had not meet many of order yet, but she reached out further, touching the energy in the air with her mind and shivering as each signature touched back. Perhaps it would be a night of nothing. That would be a blessing, after all, she did not have Snowball to help her this time. That fact made her shudder just abit. She was on her own. Well damn...

There was an Order signature close by. This made Sabine let out a relaxed sigh. After the other encounter she'd had the other night, she'd had her fill of dealing with the Negaverse solo. It did not take her long to move through the park until she reached where she roughly thought the Aura was. "Hello? I'm Sailor Sabine, Senshi of Tactics? Who do I have the pleasure of speaking to?" She spoke with a polite tone. She didn't want to spook them if they weren't paying attention - but at the same time she didn't want to appear to be careless either.

The voice of the other broke through the night and carried on the wind to her ears. Kastra opened her eyes in a startle only to go relax moments later at the mention of senshi. This one was a friend, or at least she hoped so. She collected her thoughts, drawing hey own energy back into her body before rising from the grass. Her skirt falling about her knees, her hair falling further still. "I am Kastra, Senshi of meditation. I did not know others patrolled this area so closely. Forgive me if i am intruding." There was a softness in her voice. A sweet song to our that came through even in her nervous state. She was a creature of music in her normal life and even the calling of order could not hide that. The person she saw coming toward her startled her. She was young, younger than even she and she had not even expected this life dropped on her. How could one so young be lost to a life like this?

The lady before her was very pretty, and Sabine took a small moment to give her a proper curtsey before continuing. "It is nice to meet you Kastra." She'd taken Phact's advice and had dropped the extra titles at the front of people's names. It did save her a lot of time. "Also, it's no problem! Most of us would welcome anyone helping patrol!" She smiled then. "We really should be in this all together, you know?" "In fact I rarely patrol solo when I can help it - but I'm trying to hone my skills." She said with a small nod of her head.

Kastra could not help but chuckle at the young woman's actions. It was not an action that she was use to seeing, and certainly not directed at her. "You are too kind, but if you wish i will join you in your patrol." She let her smile grow over her face, reaching the deepest depths of her crimson eyes. She would be the first to admit that she was not the best in a fight, but she was a protector, a healer. It was something she had learned in using her skills thus far. "I do not know how much of a help i will be, but i have taken on chaos and survived, so..." She lowered her head, her hand going to her chest. The thought of what could have happened scared her.

Sabine thought about things for a moment, and then closed the distance between herself and the other woman. Looking around, she let out a long sigh. "Honestly? How about we don't patrol." She said before motioning back to where the woman had been sitting down. "Why don't we just have a nice little chat instead?" Sometimes Sabine would bring snacks on her route if she knew that Phact was going to be along - but this was not one such night. Now she was regretting that decision. Oh well, if need be she could always power down and hit up a local convenience store or something. Plopping onto the ground, Sabine crossed her legs under her and leaned forward toward Kastra. "So, Kastra, what brings you out here?"

When the younger girl suggested the they not patrol, the look of calm that passed over Kastra's face was far too apparent. The idea of facing another negaverse soldier at this time, so soon after her awakening, scared her more than anything else. Though she would be the first to admit that near death would do that to about anyone. She resumed her seat near the tree, she flattening out her skirt on the ground before she tucked her legs under her body. She took a slow, deep, breath to calm her racing heart before turning and looking to Sabine. "I simply...well..I guess I was forcing myself to come out, and...well I found myself in deep thought here, rather than patrolling as I should." She ran her fingers over her skirt, eyes fully closed as she took in the feeling of the fabric. She had always been focused more on touch than she was any of the other senses, it was one of her favorites. "The world feels unsteady...like something is rumbling right beneath the surface...a darkness...it upsets the energy in this park, in this city, and I don't like it."

Sabine nodded her head slowly, listening to the older girl speak. "Yeah, it can be pretty crazy out here. The other night I ended up a part of an impromptu youma rodeo... Long story." She waved her hand as if to dismiss that it was a story at all. "But really, it's okay to be... nervous." She said cautiously, watching the older girl. "I don't usually patrol on my own if I can help it, I was only out on my own tonight because my usual patrol partner is busy. We're a lot safer when we have someone to watch our back. Especially me. My magic isn't useful in a one-on-one fight." She leaned forward a bit more. "But I agree that the city feels off - it's because so many people are fighting. We're living in a secret war zone and that wears you down."

The young Senshi nodded to the other. The endless battle between good and evil. That battle that she now found herself a part of. All of it was setting her world on edge. "It is not something I expected to be a part of. I am the last person that one would think of to fight against darkness. I am..." She looked out into the sky, her eyes distant. "...I am a pacifist if nothing else. I do not understand this battle for power." She smiled softly as her eyes lowered again to Sabine. "Sorry, I ramble. I do not believe in this physical battle. True power comes from a calm mind and a caring heart. Though apparently the Negaverse does not believe in knowledge bring power."

It was Sabine's first time meeting an actual pacifist. It was shocking in a way, to think that there was someone who wasn't willing to fight for what was right. Who wasn't willing to enact violence to protect the city and all the people in it. She felt the hairs on her neck stand up as a strange chill ran down her spine at the thought. How? How could she protect anyone if she wasn't willing to fight? Sabine placed her hands on her hips and cocked her head to the side, eyes growing a bit wide. "I don't mean to be rude," Sabine began - knowing full well that what she was going to say next was GOING to be construed as rude. "But this isn't about power. The Negaverse doesn't care about power - they want control of the city. You can say that true power comes from a calm mind and caring heart - but that and about five buck will get you a cup of coffee and not much else." Sabine could feel her cheeks puffing out but she didn't care. The idea of someone not willing to defend the city rankled her something awful. "Listen, I might be young but I'm not stupid. If you're not willing to duke it out - a youma or a Negaverse officer is going to stomp you into the dirt. Then where will you be?"

Kastra had not been expecting such an animated response. He blinked at the girl, actually moving back against the tree a bit as Sabine spoke her peace about things. She cocked her head lightly to the side, she trying to take in the others view. She randomly thought about her power, about the calming effect it had had on the nega soldier, and thought it would certainly come in more handy on this girl. "I did not say I would not protect this city. I said that most fights do not need to be fought with fists. There are ways to work around a battle, ways to work things out if people are willing to listen. Though I am begining to see that it s a rare case indeed where such are willing." She pushed abit of hair away from her good eye, staring at Sabine and smiling lightly. "If one is only willing to throw punches, rather that try first to find a peaceful solution, then we will have many broken noses and raging wars that will not see any positive conclusion.."

"The supreme art of war is to subdue the enemy without fighting," Sabine muttered before crossing her arms across her chest and trying really hard not to grind her heel into the dirt. "Sun Tzu..." She made a face at Kastra. "I've been reading up on... Tactics, because it's my sphere." Oh but it was a slog. Exciting for some bits... but for others... man, how did someone make war sound... boring. "I'm not saying we can't talk to them... I'm all for talking first and then fighting later if talking doesn't work. I'd love to make peace with the Negaverse. An eye-for-an-eye leaves the whole world blind and all that..." Another dismissive hand wave followed the statement. "But to say you're a pacifist... That means you don't fight. Period. So are you really a pacifist or are you a talk first, fight later? There's a big difference."

Kastra closed her eyes, taking a deep breath and tried to calm herself. She had a hard enough time trying to explain things to others in the civilian world, but trying to explain things to others like her here...She was just not certain she would handle it. She opened her eyes and looked at Sabine, her one good eye seeming to focus on her strongly. "Fighting is a last resort. I prefer to not fight, as I cannot. I will not because I make a fool of myself. There are alternatives to fighting in every possible situation, one can fight without laying a hand on another, or dealing pain." She knew ways to evade others, ways to deal a blow without harming the other. Her own power set made things easier for her, seeing as there was that calmness that seemed to overtake others, and that, if nothing else, made it easier for them to be reasoned with.

Sabine nodded her head slowly, and letting out a slow breath of air, she bowed her head and gave Kastra a very deep curtsy. "Thank you, I'm sorry I jumped to conclusions." She said, lifting her head with a small, albeit sheepish smile. "I seem to have a very bad habit of putting my foot in my mouth lately." She held out a hand to the other woman. "If you would forgive me, I'd like to start over, and become friends." She said with a small nod. "I can respect someone who doesn't want to cause harm to others." To be fair, she really didn't want to either. But she knew that if pressed she would do whatever it took to live. "To be fair, I can't fight at all either. Unless you count stomping on someone's foot fighting."
