Reill was packing wood for a camp fire, he planned on spending the night in the desert tonight and would be much happier if he had the protection and heat of a nice little fire. He knew he would have to find something else to do with his time eventually. Maybe head North or South to Matori..soon the desert wouldn't hold the charm for him it did now. The jaunt to tendaji before had changed him so much that he didn't think he could so simply change back.
What wonders did the world hold for him out there?

Lately, Solari had been spending less and less time inside and more time outside exploring and meeting people. She was really starting to seriously think about traveling to get away. It was just taking her longer to get things together because she was lazy and she did enjoy her comfortable life in Oba with her parents. Still, she was curious about the outside world and Matori. She didn’t’ want to be tied down here anymore, if only she could get things together enough that she was able to travel. Maybe she’d even have family back in Matori and they’d happily take her in.
Until then she was stuck exploring Oba more and enjoying more freedom than she’d previously had since they’d been freed from the Obans. Solari didn’t understand why her mother was so stuck on staying in Oba. Sure they were comfy here and their old masters were sort of still taking good care of them, but why not return home? These thoughts were interrupted when Solari stumbled on an Oban. It seemed to her that she was stumbling on a lot of Obans lately.
“Uh hi.”

Reillan paused right before they collided, goodness he needed to pay more attention it would not do to drop wood on innocent people now would it. "I'm sorry, I was distracted, deep in thought." He sighed. "You look a little confused are you okay?" He was pretty sure he looked a little confused too. Traveling was a big decision, something not to be taken lightly. She was a pretty waterling, he thought they were pretty neat. Maybe he would head to Matori and take a look around. Now that he had nothing really tying him down.

"More like annoyed," Solari said. "Not directed at you sorry, just overall annoyed." She wanted to correct that not wanting him to think she was annoyed he'd bumped into her. Plus, she still wasn't very comfortable with being to talk freely around Obans. Old habits die hard even if this was one that she wanted to extinguish. She didn't know what to tell him, she kind of just stared. "Are you lost?" Solari added because he looked just as confused as she did really, perhaps he'd gotten lost. Would explain why he had bumped into her, far too much in his mind wondering the way back to notice the poor little Matori. It was easy to not see her when she was as tiny as could be at 5'4".

"Lost? No, I'm trying to get lost in a way. I'm finding it harder and harder to fit in inside town, I want to spend the night in the desert and perhaps plan trips to elsewhere. I'm afraid town life just doesn't hold the same luster for me that it once had." He dumped his wood down. "But tell me what are you annoyed with, perhaps I could help." He would too if it were within his power, but if she wanted the rains to come he was afraid he couldn't help with that. But perhaps it was just a critter problem or a problem with an Oban. Advice would be okay too, he had some experience with the world. He tilted his head legitimately wondering why she was annoyed.

“What do you mean trying to get lost?” It was always strange for Lestari to hear from an Oban that Oba just wasn’t doing it for them anymore. And he wanted to get lost? Why would anyone want to get lost in the desert? Solari found this Oban quite particular. And to top it off he wanted to know why she was annoyed? Here she felt awkward, she always felt awkward when she had to speak to Obans about her feelings about Oba. Would it stop her? No, never had stopped her before. Oban should know how others felt about them, perhaps they would change.
Solari wouldn’t hold her breath.
“I want to leave Oba, return to Matori and find my roots. My parents want to stay here servitude. So I have to wait until I’m older before I can actually leave.” Solari sat down exasperated. “It’s like how it was before the war except my parents are my holding me chained to this place.” She sighed. “I want to travel and explore and see the world. Probably grab a mount so I don’t have to do any walking…” Solari gave a dreamy sigh this time. “Get what I’m saying?”

"I do actually, I want to travel too, I used to think that being a palace guard would be enough but now that I've had a taste fo the outside I find I want to go back more then anything. Its an odd place to find oneself in. In limbo between more then one nation, some nations I haven't even seen but I want to visit. I do think I will head to Matori. My father will not be impressed but well he will let me go. There are plenty palace guards, they won't miss one swordsman." He was tired of the hustle and bustle balanced by the quiet of the palace. It was time to go.

“Why would your father be against letting you go to Matori?” Solari tried to hide the insult in her voice. Most Matorians probably wouldn’t welcome an Oban with their arms wide open, but they wouldn’t harm him. They weren’t savages considering what some Oban nobles like to believe. Though if he was going from Oba to Matori she could use the travel companion, she wasn’t really a fighter and could use the protection.
“I’m Solari by the way and you?” Always the blunt one. “Are you going to be going straight from Oba to Matori?” If he was, then she’d ask him if she could join him Oban or not.
