Amazing how many order signatures traveled alone - although not really, when she thought about it. When she had been order, had she not also been alone? Had anyone patrolled beside her? She doubted it.

Moot point, now.

Whatever her life had been, this oddly reckless tendency of those of the white moon worked to her advantage now. Whoever they were, they didn't feel strong. They probably shouldn't have been alone. But again. Not her problem.

She approached the power signature fluidly, her heels clacking on the pavement. "Come on out, darling - I already know you're here."

Eden had almost forgotten the dangers of being out alone. Yes, it had always been there in the back of her mind. But she had been desperate to get ahold of Galaxite.

And she really didn't have any way to do that other that sort of just.... look for him.

Her lantern left her in a tiny puddle of light on a relatively dark street, well within what she knew was the area she would most likely be able to find him in.

She did feel a chaos signature. Only... it didn't feel at all like the one she was looking for. It felt stronger... and... like a senshi? It startled her a little bit, so confused by the signature that she answered.

" Uh.... Hello? "

She had never met a Corrupt senshi before, so she had no idea what she was feeling... maybe there was a senshi AND a negaverse captain near by?

A tiny little light in a world of darkness. How very ironically fitting, wasn't it?

Bathed in the darkness, Amphitrite smiled. This was almost too perfect. Too easy. How fun. That meant she could take her time and play a little. "What's wrong, darling?"

She did not immediately offer herself in a way that the girl could see. Although there was no masking the clacking of her heels, she moved constantly, fluidly, making it a point to remain out of sight. "You seem a little nervous - what's a pretty thing like you doing out here all alone, hm?"

Did this girl had friends too, like the senshi? - would anyone come to her rescue? - probably not. No one really gave a s**t about each other in the order. That much she knew.

Eden had little courage, and even less bravado, so when she felt the tone turn threatening, her hands tightened on her lantern almost out of reflex.

She let her eyes scan the darkness, but it was no use, whoever it was had the advantage of the cover of night, and Eden the disadvantage that her lantern illuminated her immediate surroundings, but left her night blind.

" And who said I am alone? " She said, trying to make herself sound cocky and aloof.

It did not work.

At all.

Laughter resonated from the darkness, the kind that was born not of genuine mirth, but a cold, harsh sound intended to throw her quarry off that much more.

"Do you think I am blind, darling?" she all but cooed as she circled the page widely, so easy to do when she was illuminated by so many colors, highlighted by the lantern she clutched in her hands.

The tone gave her away clear as day - even if Amphitrite were incapable of sensing auras she would have known the page was bluffing. This was just icing on the proverbial cake. "No, no, dear - the only blind one here is, sadly, you."

She swung around behind the page in one swift movement, and the only warning was a light clicking of shells against shells and pavement before she swung her leg at the girl, aiming a kick at her back.
