In the month since he'd gone to his world and come back, he'd mellowed out back to his normal level of not really caring too much of the powered world. Hydrus hadn't thought to go back, except perhaps with Mintaka, and really didn't want to power up at all to quiet honest. The outfit was a bit ridiculous if he was going to be honest with himself, and he had no desire to summon one of those leviathans if he didn't have to.
Yet since powering up was the only way he could see Mintaka, he donned the outfit and wandered about twiddling his thumbs.
He was on the return circuit of his 'patrol' when he felt a flare of chaotic energy. It felt much weaker than Mintaka, but perhaps the woman had learned energy dampening or something of the sort. He wound his way through the alleys until he came to the source of the signature.
And almost blinded himself.
"... Shallow Sea Monsters," he said after a moment, a small leviathan dropping from his outstretched hand. He could have made some sort of comment or quip, but really, he just wanted to be able to see damnit. The leviathan chirped and slithered towards the glowing mass of... chaos?

She'd been practicing her energy draining. The man had approached her, moth to the flame of her lights. He'd tried to put his hands on her. The woman was only defending herself... and aiding the Negaverse in the process. The perfect solution of course. The perfect way to remove the filth from this city. She was doing a wonderful deed for Destiny City. The Order aura had been an obvious warning sign of course, though she'd clearly been naive to believe they could have manners and address her like a civil being.
Oh no. No not at all.
Carnotite let out a yelp as something sank its fangs into her ankle. Or at least felt to. Stumbling back from the drifter she'd been siphoning energy from, the world around her seemed to slosh and fall to and fro as if she were standing in the waters at the beach. Not the most pleasant idea for someone who was a living embodiment of electricity.
Glowing eyes turned to the source of the magic, she presumed, sneering at the senshi as she tried to brace herself to keep herself from stumbling about. "You rude little creten." Her metallic hands clenched, though she waited to use her power. Just because she felt like she was trying to walk through water didn't mean much in reality here... "Has no one taught you proper manners?"

He huffed, shielding his eyes with a hand and sleeve. Benefit to a fuku with giant sleeves, he noticed. Hydrus very much had manners, thank you very much. It was she who did not have manners.
"I don't have manners? Says the girl with the lit lightbulbs for hair ornaments!" He huffed again as the small leviathan dispersed, trying to find a way to stare at the... creature with the lights.
Why lights. Who decided lights was a great idea? Why would anyone want to be a beacon of not only Chaos, but of light as well! He did not know much of the powered world - keeping to himself and Mintaka mostly - but it seemed like a flaw in the design of things to Hydrus. A poor calculation on their part, honestly.
He rarely fought people, but if she didn't turn off her lights, he was going to get to a point of really fighting her.
To turn the stupid lights off.
