The dread only grew as she reluctantly packed up her stuff, and it knotted with each step that drew her closer to the door. The young woman stood outside, looking just as miserable as she felt. Normally going home this late at night didn't bother her, but that was before she'd been kidnapped and threatened with death. She knew she shouldn't have gotten sucked into reading...but getting sucked in was why she did it. It allowed her to escape this dread she was feeling right now...
But the last time she had walked home late from the library...it was when they had gotten her.
Olga's shoulders sagged as she clutched the strap of her messenger bag. She quite literally debated sitting on this step and waiting out the cold autumn night until morning. She felt a little safer...not being at home. Alas...She heaved a sigh, and moved down the steps, making her way back to her apartment. Welp...if something got her...hopefully it'd be quick and painless. Hopefully.
Half way to home, and the trip was actually...pretty uneventful, which she supposed was...okay...and immediately regretted that line of thought as she heard a shuffling nearby. Olga stilled on the sidewalk, her eyes going wide and her knuckles going white as she clutched her bag. She slowly turned, and watched as a large beast that vaguely reminded her of a lion stepped out of the alley and under the streetlight. Oh. Oh...yeah...this was her first time running into a youma of that size...but she knew what it was because of Oberon. They killed...just outright...
Man. She was a magnet for bad stuff something awful...and she hadn't even ran her mouth this time. She just couldn't win.
wuthering gee
Hope this is good! *n* /
