Her heels clicked along the stone floor, echoing in time with the bobbing of lights that shimmered across the stone and crystal around her. She still wasn't... entirely used to this place. It wasn't the glam of Destiny City, wasn't the hustle and bustle of the world above. Though she did sense the others that were out there, beyond the protection of the castle walls.
Oh to be the tragic princess in the tower, longing for the world outside...
She even had a room here. Was still trying to figure out the best way to decorate it, and she'd lifted a few catalogs from some furniture stores the last time she'd been out and about. Seeing as she couldn't really do the online shopping she wanted...
As for how to get the stuff down here.... Well. Carnotite figured she'd get to that bridge and figure out something when she did. Maybe she could figure out how to bribe someone around here~? Hm. Do a few favors from a higher up? Maybe she could ask some of the humanoid youma to help her... after all, she was sort of akin to them. Well. Some of them.
She'd already encountered a few that made her skin crawl and she refused to consider her type of youma.
The lieutenant paused at a window, leaning her hip against the sill as she looked up to the sky. At least she had a gorgeous view here. The sky was more a perfect night sky than the one she'd see above ground. Plus? It didn't look so cold. They were sparks of power in the shifting skies in that impossible cavern. "Oh what I would give to bottle some of that up... talk about a perfect lamp," she ho-hummed, pouting up towards the unreachable. Though she did get a few ideas for some color combos she could play with in her wardrobe, even some modifications she could make to a few pieces she'd seen in some boutiques last time she'd been out five-finger-discount shopping. Oh that could be fun...

Galaxite had come down to Negaspace to drop off his energy quota, and while he waited for someone to escort him back out, he had slipped off to wander around. He didn't get much chance to explore, and he was sure Caledonite would expect him home soon - but a little latitude was perfectly reasonable. He wasn't going far, after all.
And besides -- there was definitely someone he wanted to get a closer look at. She felt like a lieutenant, leaning up against the window, but...he had never seen anyone with gold skin or lightbulbs on their head. For a long moment Galaxite stood transfixed, and then he slowly walked forward.
"I dunno," he said, and it came out light, "I think you're a pretty good one on your own?" Then, he winced. "Um, sorry, I didn't mean that as stupidly as it probably came out."
For someone who was supposed to be an adult, or whatever, he obviously had a long way to go in the "dealing with other people" department.

She'd felt the signature, sure, and paid it only a drifting mind. People came and went around here. That much she'd picked up on and expected. The sensation of eyes on her was something else she expected--long before she merged with the electrical goddess. Still, she wasn't rude enough--or rather, didn't want to be perceived as rude enough--to not turn her three glowing eyes towards the being that approached.
Oh he was cute~ On reflex, Carnotite's hips tilted to the side to show off her curves, eyes narrowing in a crinkle of a warm smile. A gentle laugh came to her when she heard his... attempt at conversation. Oh no. Oh he was too precious. And with such a beautiful uniform. Cosmic soldier. Be still her aesthetic beating heart~
"Don't fret, darling, came out fine to me." Still chuckling, she offered a metallic hand. Least she was pretty sure she wouldn't shock him--and she was pretty sure she wasn't running that warm. "Carnotite. Had to introduce myself before I started gushing about your amazing ensemble." To the subject of lamps though, she cast a look up to the cosmic storm above them, and then lifted her free hand to clink a nail against one of the bulbs. "They're a pretty tiara, don't get me wrong, but I've got nothing on that spectacle up there. But I certainly appreciate the thought~" Carnotite winked one of her normal eyes, the other two remaining open and focused on the man before her. "Wouldn't that be amazing though~? These pretty bulbs filled with that starry display?" Her voice was wistful in dreamy thought at the concept.

Galaxite was, mostly, oblivious to Carnotite's flirtation. His eyes were entirely on her face, taking in the fascinating wonder of her eyes, and of the lights on her head, and he took a step forward to get a closer look.
"Oh, I-I'm glad," he said, and he stumbled a little, as he reached out to take her hand. "Um, what are you, exactly? You're not like any officer I've ever seen, not that I've seen much, I guess - um, I'm Galaxite." He had to introduce himself before he asked too many more stupid questions. He inhaled, briefly, to try and calm himself down. "You would look spectacular, with colored lights," he tried, and he looked up at the lights on her head, tilting his head to the side. Yes, they definitely would look pretty with the shifting sky of the Rift trapped in them.
"I, um. I guess mine is left over, from when I was a Cosmos Knight?" He tugged, a little self-consciously, at the galaxy scarf over his shoulder.

Carnotite laughed, fluffing her curls as she flipped them over her shoulder. Letting her ego preen under his attention. "Why, darling, I'm one of the lucky officers who've managed to successfully merge with a youma without being consumed by its presence," she purred. So a stretch of the concept, but she didn't like the term half-youma. She was half nothing. It made her sound like she was... lesser than the magnificent being she was.
"If you ever hear the term half-youma, it's the same, though it's a gross understatement of what we are," she sniffed, frowning in her distaste of whomever coined the term. Letting it go, her eyes were almost bright as stars as she clasped her hands together, grinning.
"A Cosmos knight~? You were a knight?" She knew extremely little about the knights, though did understand there were different... flavors of them, to put it one way. She definitely had her forming favorite group, aesthetic wise. "Oh how dashing... can you tell me about it? I mean, if you don't mind my prying," she added on a pouting tone, glancing down with a faux flush. Now now, she warned herself. Be nice to the man. Didn't need to scare him off.

Galaxite looked amazed, eyes wide. "That's amazing," he said. He hadn't had much interaction with youma - Caledonite wasn't ranked highly enough to have a personal one yet, and he couldn't remember if he'd ever fought any as a Knight.
"I'd never think to call you half anything, miss," especially since for the most part she looked so human, like she had mastered fully whatever creature tried to merge with her. It seemed silly and overdramatic, but Galaxite was a man prone to that sort of thing.
He did look, briefly, a bit distressed. "I hate to disappoint, but I don't remember it very well. I don't remember...anything, really." He coughed. "I um, didn't want to be an officer? Obviously I was wrong, but I fought the corruption process and so it took...everything." Almost everything, but the whispers of starry lake and secret words were far too private to share.

Galaxite was quite cute--not just his appearance, which Carnotite took no shame in admiring, but even the way he spoke and how adorable he looked flustered. If she'd any concept of the overdramatic nature in his mind, she'd be in a giggling, adoring fit.
"I hope to continue to meet more like you, sweetheart," she smiled, laughing a bit after he'd stated he'd never call her half anything. So cute. The glowing eyes watched him, mind whirling. Though predation on other agents was likely frowned upon, it was her nature to ponder and debate what sort of use each being in her path might have to her. Stroking her ego certainly seemed to be a high point for him, never mind being wonderfully sweet eye candy...
Even if he didn't come brimming with information on knights, Carnotite's expression softened, moving away from the wall to rest metallic hands on his shoulders gently. "It's not a disappointment, I'm sorry to pry." A smile that was intended to be warm and sympathetic danced across her lips as she titled her head. "Perhaps it's a gift of it's own? No restraints to keep you from making this new life glorious. No loss, only gain?"

Galaxite shrugged his shoulders, briefly. "I'm happier now, I think. And if I had anything left of my old life, I might miss it. This way I don't have to." He could, instead, look forward.
And besides, as a Knight, surely her never would have met anyone as unique as Carnotite as anything but enemies. It was much more beneficial to get to talk to her.
It was unfortunate, then, that he couldn't stay long. He spotted the Captain he'd asked to teleport him out, and gave her a brief smile.
"Ah, I have to go - but perhaps another time?" He said. "I'd love to meet you again."Kaefaux a crappy but nonetheless present wrap biggrin
