In an effort to get out more and actually, you know, do the duty she'd compelled herself to do, Andronicus got out to patrol on a regular schedule for once. She'd never been great at the whole 'schedule' thing before; she patrolled when she had energy, and ever since becoming part of DCBC, the squire had less of that. Coupled with work - school being on hold indefinitely right now - the four hours she spent at the studio rehearsing and taking class took up all her energy.
The plus side? She was probably in the best shaped she'd been in since high school, and almost all of her flexibility in her back had returned. She still had some issues bending all the way forward, but it was a vast improvement over this point last year. It still boggled her mind it only had been a year since the Negaverse had tried to eradicate the Dark Mirror, since the memories of the future had come to her.
How times changed.
Andronicus Squire of Uranus rounded a corner and almost walked right into another knight, a squire in fact.
"s**t, sorry, I really gotta pay attention to power signatures," she said, rubbing her neck. Her head tilted, eyes looking the other knight up and down. She didn't recognize the markings, or color scheme for that matter. She was, however, instantly jealous of her coat.
"I'm super jealous of that coat, but it must suck in the summer. Andronicus Squire of Uranus, by the way." She gave a little wave of greeting, and a smile.

Delphi had never been the most active of knights, even though she did keep telling herself she needed to correct this. She was slowly trying to, working on at her wonder to improve upon things, she still wasn't the best when it came to patrolling the city and handling trouble. It really wasn't her thing and likely never would be, she didn't enjoy the idea of getting into a fight with youma or other people. But tonight she'd convinced herself to power up and go out, at least it was nice enough weather for her uniform.
it wasn't raining, as it had been earlier, so her hood wasn't up but her uniform kept her warm as the cool hair played with her hair and sent her bangs scattering about the sides of her face. She was busy brushing her bangs out of her way when someone walked into her, or she walked into them, as they were both rounding a corner.
"Same." She responded even as she picked herself up off the ground and dusted off the thick coat she wore. Staring and looking the other over she couldn't say what she was a knight of, planet wise, but the other clearly was a squire as well.
"Delphi, squire of Polaris." She answered in return before looking down at herself. "Summer is bad, winter and now are good." Even now though it could get a bit warm. "Don't be jealous. Summer is a nightmare." Though having been to Polaris she understood the reason for her coat looking as it did.

"Polaris? Isn't that the name of one of the senshi in the city?" she asked her, head tilting to one side. She couldn't exactly remember who that was, but she knew there was some order senshi, maybe a princess? Hell she didn't know. She knew of Castor, but he didn't seem to have any knights running around. At least that she'd seen. "Thought all knights came from dead royals, not living ones."
She was, after all, the knight of a dead royal of an equally dead planet. Well, mostly dead planet. Her wonder seemed perfectly 'alive', for a stone tower with no plants or running water. Mistral seemed perfectly 'alive' for a giant death trap filled maze. But hey! It was the thought that counted. Or something.
"Fair enough. These things should really have a 'weather appropriate' setting." Andronicus chuckled, loosely placing a hand on her hip. "Or at least a 'planet appropriate' setting. Gotta love being dropped on Mars then teleported to Mercury and freezing your midsection off. And I'm not even the worst offender of those I've seen. The Cauldron picks weird s**t."

"It is." She answered with a nodding of her head to punctuate the simple answer. "Long white hair, tall boots." She added in, hoping it helped in telling the other which senshi it was. It wasn't exactly easy to remember who went with what name given how many senshi were in the city, the hair color though stood out without a doubt. How many actually had white hair in this city and how many of them were senshi? "It would seem any currant royals can as well." She didn't know if there was some rule about who could and couldn't have knights but she supposed there could be, she would have no way of knowing. Maybe Polaris would know?
"This works for Polaris, not here half of the year. Else where I don't know." And from the sound of it she didn't want to know, it sounded like she might just drop dead in some places. "Whatever picked them needed to allow for them to magically alter themselves." To fit whatever place their wearer was in at the time, in order to make them more comfortable.
"I believe both sides suffer this issue though." She said after a moment. She was sure she'd seen some Negaverse agents in outfits that would either be too hot or too cold during certain seasons. They all had gotten screwed over with uniforms.

Huh. That was interesting. She'd never heard of a living royal having knights; she always assumed the Chronos knights and the Zodiac didn't really... count? Given - what she'd seen of them - they seemed to be their own entity and had their own rules. But hey! Apparently the Cauldron could pull knights for living royals out of its a**, as well as give people s**t clothing options!
(How was she not surprised in it sense of humor.)
Andronicus shrugged and smiled at her. "True enough. Have you seen some of those Negaverse uniforms? Yikes." She winced in sympathy, remembering some of the ones she'd encountered over the years. Most of them were sensible. Some of them weren't at all.
"So besides walk around with an awesome coat in the winter, whacha do? I know a lot of us patrol and fight off the Negaverse, but do you have a route you take or territory you protect personally?" She realized it was an awkward question, but Andronicus was genuinely curious about how other knights worked. Especially with knights who's royal was actually alive and roaming the city too. Did they answer to them, or still to the Code at large? Or was it more on a case by case basis with who it was? "Does Polaris ever have you do specific things for her?"
She shuddered to think what Castor might have his knights do if he had any. Massacre the entire city, most like. Man, she hated that guy.

"Some of them are better than some uniforms I've seen senshi with." Some of them showed a lot of skin and looked cold, though she knew they all somehow handled temperatures better than they should but still - not perfect. Her outfit still left her too warm in the summer but she hadn't dropped from over heating yet. She wasn't sure if that was possible, perhaps it was? If so it was only a matter of time for her than, given how warm and heavy her uniform was.
"We're all out of luck with these uniforms. But I haven't seen too many on either side." She wasn't the most social, though she really was trying to work on it. She knew she needed to work on meeting others, learning to work with others, incase she ever needed help or there was ever another big battle she was in with other people. It was best to have friends.
"No, no where I go normally. I have been recently visiting my wonder and trying to clean it up and restore it." Especially with the wedding her princess was planning to host on the star. It needed to be cleaner than it was at present. How would they have so many people there? "I don't go out a lot to be honest." She admitted after a few moments of silence. It was more than she liked to say but she was also sure it was obvious from other things she'd said and just the way she was.
"No, we've only met a few times. She doesn't give orders, or anything like that." Not like she'd take orders from the other either, she was a rather independent person. "She helped in cleaning up my wonder a bit, we've been talking. It's a friendship more than anything...and allies. It's her planet but my wonder...so my piece of the whole. Neither of us orders the other or anything of the sort." At least not yet, not that she'd ever permit it to happen either way.
"I suppose it's like other teams." Though she couldn't be sure at all about that, she had no way to know for sure.

She nodded and hummed, listening quietly. It was nice to hear that Polaris was more or less like every other decent senshi, and there wasn't some weird power play between her and her knights. Sounded more like the Cauldron just decided "whelp your Princess is here, time to wake up little ones" and allowed the Polaris knights to appear.
The Cauldron was incredibly weird sometimes.
"That's pretty neat. My wonder was chalk full of sand when I first went. I think I took half a day just cleaning the sand out from the entry floor. A good number of floors in my tower are completely inaccessible anyway; floors are caved in or the landings are destroyed. I have a pretty nice office slash map room though. Giant oak and metal table in the middle," she replied with a shrug. All the different wonders did amaze her, that the cosmos had created (or someone had at least) all the buildings or locations and bound a knight to them.
"I don't go out to my wonder much either. I patrol a whole lot though. I try to help civilians who get stuck between a youma and a wall, or in the way of a powered struggle. After New Years and that whole business with bringing a second Rift into Destiny City, I've kinda made it my purpose to help protect the city," said Andronicus, sheepishly scratching her neck. Saying it like that made her super embarrassed about the whole thing, actually. Yes, her against the entire powered might of the city, order or chaos. The one woman show. Kind of like Wonder Woman.
But much less durable.

She had, at first, hoped her princess wasn't like some normal civilian royalty of the past. She had hoped she wouldn't act higher up, better than them, or anything else. She had been happy to find her Princess was like a normal person, faults and all, she just happen to be a senshi and a princess. She didn't act better, even getting dirty and helping to clean up her wonder a bit. it wasn't normal for the lavender eyed knight to warm up to people, it took a good amount of time typically, but she would admit she did rather like her princess and did want to work with her and help her - she liked Polaris.
"Mine is covered in dust and needs a good cleaning." Which would take a lot of time, given the sheer size of her wonder. It was not going to be a short nor easy thing for her to accomplish but she would eventually get it clean, only to likely have to reclean everything. "My wonder seems intact, but I'm unsure completely as I've not seen it all yet. I'm focusing on one area first before moving on, or I may get lost in it all." With the size of it, and all that there was to it, she could easily wander around and never return to the first thing - the task of cleaning. No, she had to focus on exploring as she cleaned which meant one area at a time. Eventually she'd see it all, in due time.
"Rift...? A second one?" This she was clueless on and decided to ask about it. She had been there for the new years episode and hoped nothing happened this new years, they did not need a repeat performance though who knew what would happen in this city.

Andronicus nodded slowly. "Yeah... some very upstart-y Negaverse General tried to create a new Rift in the middle of Destiny City. I have no idea how, but he never pulled it off. Guy fused with his personal youma, and I've not seen Bischofite in a year or two now. " She almost missed the youma general, in some ways. He'd been interesting in the future - but then again he'd been on the winning side in that case, so perhaps it didn't count.
It was odd how people just sometimes vanished out of thin air though.
"We haven't had a large scale situation for a while, actually. New years, yes, but we've had stuff like that before. Just without the death carnival. I think the last major thing before the second Rift attempt was when all those civilians got abducted for a month? Before that there was a lot of powerful issues, I think, but everything's relatively quiet, actually." She tapped a figure to her chin in thought. She didn't exactly know everything that had happened, but she knew of things having grown up in the City. Maybe nothing was even remotely related to the war but she suspected more was than the public knew.
It was more like a calm before a storm, really.
"Here's hoping this New Years is a little less exciting, yeh?" Andronicus flashed a grin, waggling her eyebrows.

"Oh...you sounds rather familiar with him - were you?" She asked wondering. She had not heard of another being friends with a Negaverse agent but she supposed it could happen, didn't it happen in normal wars after all? Of course she was sure it could happen but why friends, if that was the case, with someone who tried to do that? Though she didn't know what the rift was, and what it contained, she was also sure it was not a good thing.
"People vanish and things happen...not just in a war but in life." She said shrugging, it was a simple truth in this world. People drifted in and out of each others lives. Sometimes you got warning and other times...nope.
"I wasn't around for those things...the missing people I did hear about though on the news." She had not been involved in that and was honestly clueless about it. She wasn't knew to being a knight...just...she didn't go out often until recently. She was trying to work on it, she knew she had to, but she had lately been spending more time at her wonder and for many a reason.
"I hope...but I won't hold my breath. In this city..I've learned that." No, this city was cursed almost. Anything which was good, anything that was big and social...it was all rigged in some way and it all went to hell. She had learned that and didn't trust such things...but she'd still go, she was just cautious about it all now. She went in with open eyes and watched everything. "Though I think you are hoping for an exciting New Years...just not one involving the Negaverse." She commented as she watched the other waggle her brows.

"Eh... not... particularly. Knew of him mostly, and there were some encounters with him. Not exactly someone you want to be on the other side of, to be honest," said Andronicus, shrugging her shoulders. It was entirely too much work to explain the whole future memory thing and easier to just say 'yeh i knew of him and encountered him a few times'. Much easier. Less confusing.
"With Order... nothing is ever less than exciting," sighed the squire of Uranus. She chuckled sheepishly and shook her head. Never get them into a collected space; they'd do more damage to each other than anything. In that, she envied the Negaverse's organization. "I like exciting, just so long as Order isn't clumped together in a room. Never goes well."
Andronicus glanced down the street for a few moments, as if thinking. She yawned and blinked a few times. Sounded like sleep for her, actually. Ugh eight hours of rehearsal in the morning...
"... I think it's a good time for me to go to bed. All day rehearsals tomorrow. If ya ever want to patrol around, let me know. I'm always welcome to the company and such!" It was an open offer; while Andronicus did tend to patrol alone and such, company was nice from time to time.
She waved, waiting until Delphi responded before disappearing down the street, for sleep.

"I see." Ok, now that made sense, at least they weren't friends. That would have brought about a few questions from the squire of Polaris. Maybe she should see if she couldn't find out about the rift thing and the General who had been involved, to educate herself on one of the many things she had not been involved in. It was a good idea but was it something she wanted to get involved in?
"When we get into large groups it seems nothing goes right and an attack happens of some sort." She said rolling her pale eyes. It seemed that if they were all together it was for some big trouble or something big, and bad, happened soon after. There was never good involved when senshi and knights were all in one place. Whether it happened before or during the gathering it was bound to happen.
"Yes, I will call on you some night to patrol. Have a good night and save venture home." You never knew what was lurking in the shadows which may just jump you. So with that said and the other leaving she too headed off.
