Lazarus was not a man who enjoyed taking risks. He preferred his ventures to be calculated things -- times and places where the odds of failure seemed low, and the potential gains seemed high. There was no wisdom in doing otherwise. Tonight, though, walking to the train station from work, he came across a rare prize: a senshi in full uniform, gallivanting about, hoping between floors of a building under construction.

It wasn't that senshi were unusual -- rather, what was unusual was encountering one while he was still in his civilian guise, and outside of a combat circumstance. He had the option of choosing his ground here . . . or not choosing any ground, and going home. Perhaps this was an opportunity to make a new informant contact.

Lazarus ducked behind a wall to change -- then back out into the space beneath the building, hands in his pockets, looking up. She'd have sensed him now. Lazarus Klein had no aura, but Captain Quartz certainly did. He didn't need to yell to get her attention.

Instead, he just looked up and waved at her -- then put up both hands in the universal sign for surrender.

Hopefully she'd be open to chatting.
