It started with a note. A very very angry note.
Quote: Mimisbrunnr~
You get your catsuit clad a** out in the city this ******** second, find me and take this god forsaken book before I start doing live renditions of Fahrenheit 451 in the middle of the god damn street for everyone to see. It's either that or I throw it at the first Chaos Agent I come across. Your choice really.
Which ever happens first.
-Alexandria
But then again, perhaps angry didn't quite cover it well enough. After bringing the book home with him from his most reason trip to his wonder. Alex had tinkered with the book every chance he got, trying to and repeatedly failing to open the damn thing. He was pretty sure he had tried a number of things twice, but from what he could tell, the book didn't look like it had gained even so much as a scratch from all his probing.
Now however, he was just beyond tired of it and was seriously considering just destroying the damned thing.

Mimisbrunnr was not used to being the recipient of aggressive notes like the one Alexandria had sent - but knowing her fellow Mercury Squire, if he was angry, it was important. She had sent a quick note back telling him she was coming, and went looking - until she finally found him.
"Alexandria!" She called, as she ran over. "What's this about a book?" She scooted to a stop, bouncing on her heels a little.
"What did some poor innocent book do to make you want to burn it?"

"Innocent my a**!" He yelled, tossing the book at her before huffing. "I found that god forsaken thing on my wonder. Why Ronan had it is beyond me." His former self had been a quirky little guy, and Alexandria would be lying if he said he could figure him out. "The stupid ******** thing wouldn't open, and believe me, I've tried. I've tried a lot and now I just wanna set the damn thing on ******** fire and go home to my bed that isn't a magical entity and ******** sleep."
It was probably a safe bet to assume that Alex was very very flustered and irritated at this point.
"So take it, before I follow up on my threat. See if either of you can figure out how to open it."

Mimisbrunnr had to stop herself from laughing. "Okay, so it's probably magic, if it was on your Wonder," she said, as she picked it up from where it had landed, on the ground in front of her feet.
"This symbol on the cover -- it almost looks like my Well..." She murmured, brushing gloved fingers over it.

As soon as she did, the book fell open, and a symbol began tracing itself on the page - a blue kite shield, adorned with a silver well and an open book above. Across the top, in delicate script, traced the name Mimisbrunnr.
"Alexandria! You have to see this, it's - it's amazing!"[Mistress Morbid] don't mind me just doing a pretentious unnecessary ic art drop

Alexandria stared. For a long moment, it was all he could do until his mouth finally fell open.
"Are you ******** kidding me?!" He screeched. "I'm calling some serious bullshit here!" He hissed, throwing his hands up. "Oh my god." The tiny Squire continued to sling profanities and seethe for the next few moments. "Do you have any ******** clue how insane that damnable book has made me feel? Give it back. I'm burning it. I'm going to shove my sword through it and we'll roast it."
"You ******** suck." The Squire pouted. "I hope you know that." Alex huffed, crossing his arms. Damn book making a fool outta him.
