Stille Actaeonis had eventually found where Connor Kenway was said to roam. Now came the task of actually finding the assassin, a task Stille was not enjoying overly much. He probably should have chosen to go and talk to Edward Kenway, Connor's grandfather, as well as follow through with looking for Yusuf, but he trusted Master Malik when the other had said Connor had a sound head on his shoulders. So, taking Malik's letters to Connor and Yusuf is what he would do, so long as he wasn't captured or killed along the way, that is. The dark skinned assassin looked all around the ground in the forest, trying to find any trace of the man he sought. Never once did he think to look to the trees. ((This is a private roleplay between myself and F a l l a c y only.))

Connor had felt for awhile he was being followed. It was like a sixth sense the young Assassin had from his childhood roots. It was't long before Connor had make his way up to the tree tops, his footprints in the dirt below vanishing a bit aways from the tree he lept to. He hid among the pine needles and glanced down at a man donning Assassin robes. Why was one of their own following him? He decided to remain silent for awhioe longer, hoping to gain some more insight.

Stille continued searching the ground for signs of Connor, frowning behind his cowl as no clue met his gaze. Was he even in the right area? He heaves a slight sigh of frustration, then looks around swiftly, getting the feeling that he was being watched. He had his hands ready to bring up his weapons if need be to defend against an attack, whether it came from man or beast.

Connor deciced to speak up from where he was shielded from view. "What brings you here?" He wasn't expecting an open answer. While it would be nice the Assassins were sworn to secercy. He watched the other carefully, inspecting his movements and reading his body language. Defense and uncertainy was displayed on the ground below.

Stille looks up towards the trees at the voice, eyes scanning around in an attempt to find the voice's owner. Still seeing no one, he thinks over his words carefully before speaking. "I am looking for someone." He says, still looking around slowly. He would not elaborate on his answer until he knew to whom he was speaking. "I'll not say more, however, until I know the identity of the man who is speaking to me."

Connor scanned the surroundings. He was pretty sure this man was alone. He had only sensed one pair of feet behind him the whole time. He moved out of his hiding spot but remained up at his tactical location. The native Assassin leaned against the trunk of the tree as he continued to watch Stille. "You seem like a friend, are you really?"

Stille eyes Connor suspiciously when the other finally shows himself. At his question, Stille starts tensing up again slightly. "That depends on you. I seek... a man named Connor. Connor Kenway."

"Well you've come to the right place." He carefully stepped out further on the branch before leaping down. "...Now state your business here." Connor's patience was not the best. A definite Kenway trait. He however held no hostility in his body language as he glanced over Stille's hooded and masked face.

Stille steps back as Connor leaped down, easing his hands away from his weapons when he read no hostility in the other's body language. If what he'd heard was true, this should be the man he sought. He knew his Master had written this letter and the one he was to later take to Yusuf in a dialect that only the assassin's should know, but there was no telling if any of the Templar had managed to crack this newest code yet or not. "Master Malik sent me with this." He states, reaching into his pocket slowly to produce the letter his Master had written, offering it to Connor.

Connor thought for a moment then nodded. He had never really met Malik personally but had heard of him. Then again - who in the Assassin brotherhood did not hear of Altair and Malik? He carefully took the letter and nodded in thanks to Stille. "...Thank you. Is that all?"

Stile shakes his head. "I believe my Master wished for me to bring back your reply as well. I have one more Master I have been tasked with seeking out as well, Master Kenway, but I will wait patiently for your response to my Master's letter. My name is Stille Actaeonis." He finally bows just slightly to Connor. Being Malik's personal assistant, Stille liked to be as thorough as possible in all tasks his Master sets for him.

He glanced at the letter and looked around. "Not here. Follow me." He then took off towards where his current camp was located. On his way there he kept his eyes and ears open to make sure they weren't being followed. Only once he was sure that they were alone did he approach the camp area. "How has Master Malik been?" He questioned as he opened the letter and began to read it silently to himself. He knew Altair had gone missing and wondered what that had done to the second in command.

Stille nods, quickly and quietly following Connor as the other lead him around. He eyes Connor for a moment when the other asks about his Master, trying to think of how to best answer the other. "Hm.... He has cursed Master Altair a few times, but... that is really nothing new... He works himself much harder, however. I have tried getting him to not work himself so much, but, well... Master Malik can be a very stubborn man when he wishes to be." He frowns a bit behind his cowl. "I did not like leaving him unattended, but it was his orders, and I will not disobey him." Stille had taken to shadowing Malik everywhere for his protection long before Malik had decided to make him his assistant. He was sure the others that served Malik were doing their best, but not a one of them had been a near constant presence for the one-armed assassin. It worried him, thinking the Templar would take this opportunity to make a raid on where Malik stayed, although he tried his best not to project any of this.

Just wondering what the hell to do with the mysterious capsule that has been sitting on his desk. xDDD]] Connor nodded and frowned. "...At least he has found something to keep him busy. Otherwise I fear he'd fall into sadness." He finished reading the letter and sighed. "His concerns hold merit but... many of our own breathern have silent as well." He pulled out a piece of parchment and a quill. Dipping the quill into some ink he began to write his reply. Master Malik,
I understand your need for concern, yet, I would like to remind you of the very silence within our own ranks. In order to prepare, we would need to start anew as I fear it would take too long to rouse those once loyal to our cause. If my assistance is required, then I shall be there, simply say the word. Upon meeting we shall talk more on the matter.
Safety and peace, Connor KenwayConnor waited a few moments for the ink to dry before carefully rolling up the parchment and offered it to Stille. "I shall escort you to the edge of the forest."

((lmao This is truuuuuuuuuue, but Stille doesn't know that. XD)) Stille takes Connor's words into consideration regarding Malik, finding himself giving the barest nod of agreement. "That is true.... There are a very small few I have been able to find, and they are doing the best they can in their own areas." Stille waits patiently as Connor writes up his reply and waits for it to dry, then accepts the offered parchment and tucks it safely inside his pockets. At Connor's saying he would escort Stille to the edge of the forest, he gives another slight nod. "You have my thanks, Master Connor. Safety and peace be with you." He says, bowing to the other again before silently following him.
