She had poured two cups of coffee, holding off on adding any cream or sugar to the second cup in the event one or the other might make her new friend ill. Amusement danced through her eyes as she watched Bindhi enter the kitchen, making a gesture for her to have a seat at the small bistro table. "I'm thinking you should probably drink the first cup black, unless you think it's going to make you yak... Do you take cream and sugar usually? We didn't quite make it to coffee last night for me to find out." Honestly, she was lucky that Abigail had answered her phone last night. It would have been hard enough for her to drag the amazoness the few blocks to her apartment on her own, let alone try to get her into a cab. She doubted that Bindhi actually remembered the spunky blonde helping her haul the stumbling drunk up to her apartment, or the giggling attempts at groping as they'd wrestled her into something to sleep in. Abigail had went home after Cordelia had reassured her that she'd be alright, and Cordy had sat up with Bindhi for a bit to make sure she wasn't going to be sick before crashing for a few hours herself. "I threw your clothes in the laundry with some of my things last night. They're in the dryer now. I'm thinking coffee first, though, then some Gatorade... And probably something starchy for breakfast. Are you a waffles or a pancake girl?"

Alternately blushing and then blanching, Bindhi sat in the chair Cordleia indicated and hid her face in her hands briefly. When she peeked through her fingers, her expression could only be described as Please God, Open the Earth Below Me mortification.
"I," she began in a low voice, "am so ******** sorry, Cordelia. Oh my god, what happened? What did I do?"
She was certain she had to have done something boorish given how much alcohol had been racing through her bloodstream. She reached shakily for the coffee in front of her and drained half of it before setting the cup down and sighing heavily.
"I seriously don't remember much after you got out of the club. Did I do something stupid? I feel like I vaguely recall doing something really stupid."
In her fretting, she'd missed the suggestion of gatorade and barely caught the mention of breakfast. Blinking owlishly, she paused and tried to get her brain caught up with the rest of her.
"Um. Waffles, I guess? I kind of feel like I should be buying you breakfast and an apology bouquet, to be honest here."

"Does motorboating me count as doing something stupid?" Her brow lofted, soft smirk on her lips as she glanced over her shoulder to the other woman while drawing a glass bowl down out of her cabinet before turning to the pantry to retrieve the waffle iron and the waffle mix. "Because, if we're being honest, I don't think that was nearly as stupid as drinking whatever it was you must have had before coming to the club. My guess would've been dragon's piss, but I don't think there are any more dragons around to volunteer for bottling that sort of thing." Despite her words, her tone was light; more teasing than the overly abrasive she might have been in this sort of situation had Bindhi not seemed so troubled the night before. "After letting you giggle into my chest for a bit I managed to shuffle you over to the bench by the bus stop until a friend of mine showed up to help me get you home. Between the two of us we managed to get you up the stairs and into the bathroom where you seemed to be okay for a little bit; you said you were okay, at least, and when you stumbled out there wasn't anything broken or written in lipstick on my mirror." Again, with a little bit of teasing to her tones as she filled a measuring cup with some water, pouring it into the mix before stirring. "Abi left not long after you started stripping. She stayed just long enough to help me coax you into a night shirt and get you comfortable on the couch."

Listening to Cordy's amused sounding descriptions of her actions the night before, Bindhi could only sit at the table and stare silently, in horrified fascination. She took slim comfort in the fact that she hadn't, at least, caused any property damage. A strangled moan trickled out of her throat as Codry got the part where it had taken two people to forced clothes onto her. Hiding her face behind her hands, once again, Bindhi wasn't sure where or even how to begin apologizing for being that much of a drunken a**.
"Cordelia... Cordy," came the muffled voice, "I am so sorry. I don't normally turn into a boorish buffoon when I drink. ******** my life, I don't normally drink like that in general."
She wondered briefly who Abi was and decided that she'd find out later and then go make her apologies there later.
"Oh my god," she said, finally looking up from her hands, "I am so so sorry. I don't even know how to make this up to you. Thank you for taking care of my stupid, drunk a** and not leaving me for the alley cats to feast on."

"I don't normally bring drunks home, especially not drunks from work..." Something about the other woman's situation had hit home with her, though, and she hadn't been able to shake off the feeling that making sure she was alright was something that she needed to do. It was hard, even now, thinking of doing anything differently with just how familiar the sound of her name coming from Bindhi sounded. "You looked like you were in need of a friend and I'd like to think that if I was ever in that kind of situation someone would look out for me too." She nodded, letting the waffle iron heat up. "Actually, I'm surprised you remember my name." She added on with another soft, teasing grin. "Would you like some more coffee?"

Draining what was left of the coffee from her cup, Bindhi gently massaged the bridge of her nose. She hadn't missed the emphasis on the word especially and decided that she could find a way to make it up to Cordy. Somehow. <******** my life, I guess I was, am, whatever," she muttered wearily. Then, she glanced up and smiled slightly. No sense in trying to explain how she helped Cordy shop one day. The other girl wouldn't believe her anyway thanks to the glamour. Instead, she settled for a nice, neutral little, "Well, it's not exactly a run of the mill name, you know? Easier for me to remember that way. And yes, more coffee would be fantastic, thank you."
The tiny jolt of caffeine she'd already had was forcing her brain and body to catch up with the rest of the world.
"I really need to make this up to you. I swear I am not normally such a damned idiot."

"You don't have to make it up to me." She shook her head, opening the iron to give it a spritz with some butter flavored cooking spray before pouring some of the batter into it. "Honestly. I don't deserve any sort of special treatment for having a bit of human decency. I might ask you if you'll treat me to coffee after a shift sometime when you haven't been putting yourself through a bender, though." She was smiling softly as she glanced over her shoulder before turning so that she could bring the coffee pot over to Bindhi, refilling her cup easily. "Cream or sugar this time?"

"Yes. I do," Bindhi muttered stubbornly. "You could have left me out for the hobos and alley cats. You didn't. You're still being really nice about this when I know that I was a ******** idiot."
She arched an eyebrow and fixed Cordy with a gimlet stare.
"Basic human decency isn't exactly the norm anymore though with a lot of people. Just let me have this, Cordelia."
She let the other woman refill her cup, shaking her head at the offer of anything to alter the coffee. Right now, black coffee was the best treatment for her wobbly stomach and shot nerves. As she sipped, she considered ways that she could pay Cordy back for being so nice. As she glanced around the kitchen, she thought that her host probably did fairly well financially. She might be a waitress, but someone with a figure like hers was sure to rake in tips at the club.
But probably not all the time. And emergencies could always happen.
"Let me take you shopping," she blurted out. "I could probably use the outting myself and well, it'll let me return the kindness."
Glancing down at herself in her borrowed sleep wear, she wrinkled her nose and began to laugh a little helplessly.
"I could probably also use a shower."

"Let's make sure you can keep down breakfast first, then we'll talk about a shopping trip?" Her brow lofted slightly, soft, teasing smirk on her lips. "If you'd like to go snag a quick shower you can have the second waffle? Might clear your head a little too. Usually helps me on the days that are a little harder to get through. I do splurge a little sometimes on fancy soaps and cleansers too, so you can treat yourself to that and a fluffy towel?"

"For a shower I would forgo my waffle all together," Bindhi said feelingly. "I feel like something that died and resurrected halfway."
The thought of fancy soap and fluffy towels and hot water was more than enough to send her wobbling out of her seat, though she looked askance at Cordelia, not wanting to just charge off. For one thing, she didn't exactly want to have to hide in the bathroom until the laundry (and thus her clothes) were done.
"Lead the way, bestest, new friend."

"Right this way." She laughed softly, leading Bindhi across the apartment and down a short hall to her bathroom. She nudged the door open gently before standing aside. "Towels are in the closet there, and I -think- the dryer should be done shortly." She made a small gesture to the wash closet right across from the bathroom door. "Need anything else?"

Practically wriggling in her own skin with the need to be clean, BIndhi took note of the gestures and locations of what she would need and smiled.
"That's more than enough for now," she said, making a beeline for the bathroom door. "Thank you so much and I will see you in a few minutes."
With another smile, she slipped into the bathroom and carefully closed the door behind her before tugging off her borrowed sleepwear and turning the water on as hot as she could stand. And once a fine layer of steam was visible, she stepped into the shower, sighing happily as the heat soaked into her skin. And once she felt her shoulders relaxing she reached for the shampoo and soap and went to work scrubbing at her skin and hair.
About ten minutes later, she emerged from the bathroom, toweling off her hair and fully clothed. Wandering back to the kitchen, she paused at the threshold and wrinkled her nose in a grin.
"I like your bathroom. And your taste in soaps."

"Habit leftover from being a spoiled rich kid growing up." She smirked softly, setting a plate with a fresh waffle down on the table next to the syrup before making a gesture for Bindhi to take a seat. "I try not to spend too much on too many 'frivolous' things now, but... Working at the club, I figure I can treat myself to some nice things every now and then." She picked up her cup of tea again, taking a small sip from it as she leaned against the counter. "Feeling any better?"

"Score another for the poor, little rich girls club then," Bindhi said with a tired chuckle. "Though I gotta be honest, I spent so much time being shuffled through different schools that I never got into fancy soaps and things. All my play money went to my surfboard. Still does to some degree."
Sitting again, the blonde did her best to not start drooling right then and there as the scent of warm waffle hit her nose. And whether Cordelia had intended to or not (likely not), Bindhi had a few ideas now for ways to pay her new friend back for her kindness. There was that one giftbasket she'd seen on Lush's website, after all...
"And I am feeling so much better, you have no idea."

"Crystal Academy for me, once it was time for highschool. I usually got to come home for weekends, though, unless there was a reason for me to stay on campus. It meant I had my own bathroom and my own things... And one of daddy's credit cards." She shook her head thinking about it, taking another slow sip of her tea. "He tried to convince me to keep it for emergencies. Neither he nor my mother understand why I refused. Honestly, I didn't really offer them the best explanation either. Sometimes it's just... For the best. He'd probably have a bird if he knew where I was working." That brought a small quirk of a smile to her lips.
