• Personality: Emily has a love for science, and is passionate about it. Regrettably, it is her obsession and she has little room to love anything else. She is brilliant and unafraid to test boundaries untested before, and lacks empathy for the feelings of others and Pokemon. Outside of a lab, she is unfocused, distracted, and doesn't really know what to do with herself as the pursuit of knowledge has become the reason for her existence, and without its distraction she is lost until she can get back to it.
To her, her own Pokemon are not her friends or her partners, but rather more useful assistants and minions to help aide her research.
• Biography: Ever since Emily was a little girl, she had been fascinated by Pokemon Evolution and the science behind it. A small, weaker Pokemon could become stronger by evolving, but they only did it when they were ready or had a special stone to help speed up the process. It was her duty to find out how it worked, and her path started with the family's pet Magikarp. It could become a strong and terrifying Garados, but the Magikarp itself was so weak it would take a long time to get to that point, so she made it her first test subject to try and force the evolution process along faster herself. Unfortunately as a child, she didn't know enough to do it safely, and her repeated and varied attempts caused the Magikarp to pass away. That didn't stop her pursuit of knowledge, however, and as soon as they got a new Magikarp it continued until she finally found the right ticket, and the Magikarp evolved.
Rather than go on a journey to become a Pokemon trainer, Emily went to school to study as much as she could about the world around her, and in her free time did as much reading and experimenting as she could get away with. Her parents thought it nothing more than a healthy curiosity to understand and learn, and fancied the thoughts that their girl would become a Pokemon Professor someday. But her lack of empathy for the feelings and pain of Pokemon would never lead her down that path, instead bringing her down much darker ones as her searching for the secrets to Evolution and the power of Pokemon got crueler and more twisted. Finally, her parents discovered what she had been doing to Pokemon and disowned her for being a monster, and kicked her out rather than report her to the police with the hopes that she would learn her lesson.
As she worked to get her own dingy, small lab to continue her work with, she was picked up by Team Legion and recruited to work for them, and soon established herself as the Head Scientist.
