Reillan sat with his legs folded in the desert, right in the middle of what he now called “Perzi Haven’ he waited for the beautiful cats to return. He laid back basking in the sun. This was the life not a care in the world except the time tables of wild furballs. He should have been a beast tamer it was a delightful occupation, he smiled into the sun letting the joy and freedom fill his heart, no one to worry about, no one to save, no one to care about but himself. It was glorious. A loud meow disturbed him from his rest and he cracked an eye at the cat that stared at him from a few feet away. It looked like his waiting had paid off. “Hello my lady, what can I do for you this fine day? Fish? A saucer of cream? Perhaps leaving you alone? “ he chuckled. He could be charming..maybe, perhaps it did not work on lady cats but she had not left yet, despite her unamused and unimpressed face. He rolled over so he was not facing her upside down. He raised his legs and kicked them idly. “My dear, whats a nice cat like you doing with a fool like me?” She seemed to like his voice but when he held out his hand to pet her she screeched at him gave him a swipe, miraculously not with claws and fled his presence. Not so charming then? Well you couldn’t win them all.
