Inexplicably, she was nervous. It was not often that Davyne felt unsure of herself or her decisions and yet...

And yet the thought of leaving her Vaisel behind, the only creature in this world she could really call a friend had her feeling skittish. But to stay here only for a minipet, when she could be so much more useful as a weapon...

At the very least, she wanted Vaisel to have a good home. A really good home, with someone who would love and treasure it; so she'd put up flyers with her phone number and a picture of Vaisel at minipet-orientated places, with a warning that she'd be very selective.

And she had been; several had called and been rejected, most simply interested in the mini for its rarity. She would not condone such a thing; Vaisel was not to be collected, it was to be treasured. Though she was very fond of the minipet, she was not the most affectionate of owners and this time she'd make sure that it got someone who was.

Which was why she was here, with her minipet, sitting on a park bench and waiting for the ghoul named Arynek.

Arynek had two Uchitels, simply speaking, even though both were male, they could be said her parents. Shadow Voids didn't born in pumpkin or they were like undead or ghosts, they were adopted when they formed in the Halloween world.

Usually the ghoul won't go out in the morning, in the morning there would be an amazing scene of minipets packed around the dining table for breakfast, including Arynek's feline minipets. Early in that morning, she was wearing a big smile and got ready to go out. She took a deep breathe and stepped out of the door, every time she went out in the morning, she felt scary even carrying a parasol. As a being born in darkness, they didn't do well with heat or light.

As usual, she brought some friends with her to calm her unsettling soul. The Meowstache ran out before she woke up, so she had a Gummi Luring, Gummi Redux Bottle Spirit and Trick Redux Black Cat on her way to meet the ghoul.

It was just a precious opportunity that she noticed the flyer, actually when it was related to felines, she seldom missed it. Another thing was about shipping but it's not related to the topic. A tiny cute adorable kitten on the picture that wholly captured her soul, her red eyes stared at it until she realized she was stared by the passer-by, how embarrassing. Anyway, after struggled for a few days, rolled around on her bed, picked up the phone and put it down with a long sigh, she finally dialed the number on the flyer.

Davyne was a really nice ghoul as well as an amazing owner. In her voice, Arynek can feel how unwilling and helpless she have to part with her Vaisel. She felt like their mutual liking towards feline would bring them together and become good friends. It was the day they agree to have a face-to-face meeting and a final assessment for whether she was suitable to be the Vaisel's new owner. At least Arynek thought so, she could hear how rapid her heart throbbing, it felt slightly hard to breathe normally. She was excited to meet them but also very anxious.

The minipets she brought with her were delightful to have a walk, while one floating besides her, another one snugged comfortably on her shoulder and the smallest one within her tender arms. "Have you been waiting long?" A very soft and small voice would be heard as Arynek nodded and took a seat next to the reaper. Her skin was very very pale but she was sweating mildly on an overcast day, reflecting her anxiety.

Vaisel was nestled on Davyne's lap, but peered up at the newcomers in curiousity, greeting them with a chirping meow.

"Not long," the sorceress nodded back in greeting, "only a few minutes."

She examined the other ghoul with a brazen gaze, absently noting the familiar way her minis interacted with her. They were obviously comfortable, even if the small voice of Arynek would suggest that she was not. But perhaps she was wrong - reading creeple was not her strong suit, after all.

"It is a pleasure to meet you," she started, truthful even if it sounded like a pointless pleasantry. "To be quite frank, I do not know how to begin this. I have never been in a similar situation before."

Hesitating, she looked from where her fingers had unconsciously been petting Vaisel over to the other ghoul. "Would you... like to hold it?" If Vaisel did not like her, there was not much point in continuing this, after all.

Arynek closed her parasol and set it aside, she was glad the ghoul picked a bench under the tree's shade. She then fiddled with her dress, making sure creases won't leave on it and gently put the minis on her arms on the area next to her, ended with a soft pet on its head down the spine. She gave a gasp at the soft meow, her heart almost melted for how cute it was. The tiny feline was so tiny, she already lost her ability for words.

To Davyne's greeting, she made a small smile. "It's my pleasure to meet you too," she lowered her neck and nodded politely. The two Gummi had moved themselves closer to the strangers out of curiosity, they never see such a small kitten before and were interested in it. Their owner seemed to be easily captivated by its existence and flickered her glances on it from time to time during the conversation with another ghoul. They didn't mind it would steal her attention as the ghoul shared her love to all of them, even she hated to go out in the morning, she would do it when they begged for a walk.

"I-I-Can I hold your hands?" Instead of reaching out to pick up the vaisel, the shy ghoul requested a very strange thing. As if she understood how weird it sound, she explained further. "We-I-our species have a normally lower temperature than most creeple, I-I don't know if it would feel uncomfortable to my touch." Nervous to make the sorceress know her intention, she stumbled through her words. "I-I want to see the differences between our hands - I can wear gloves to make my hands warmer!" It was suggested the small volume of her voice was what she used to talk normally, a pink hue emerged on her cheek as she went on.

Arynek didn't want to leave a bad impression, frankly speaking, she would do anything for her felines. The trick redux seemed to read her mind and worries rubbed its head against Arynek with an encouraging push at her arm.

At least Arynek seemed interested in the minis, she thought. The small glances were hard to miss.

"What?" Davyne blinked, baffled, but before she could ask more the request was already being explained. "Ah, I see," nodding, she looked to the minipet on her lap; "Vaisel does have a rather thick fur - I believe it should be fine, but if you wish to be certain, then by all means."

She held out a hand to the other ghoul, palm upwards. Generally she had a rather standard body temperature, but in Halloween that did not say much - at this particular moment in time, her hands were slightly less warm than usual, owing to the slight chill in the air.

She was relieved when Davyne offered her hand, it was really an odd request, even herself would think so. Born from darkness, their request of sunlight and heat was at its minimal. That didn't say their body temperature would be as chilly as that of the undead or ghost, but it was far from human's regular body temperature.

Arynek gingerly reached out hers to slightly touched the warmer hand, just barely made contact on a small surface area. She looked up at the sorceress's face, observing her reaction for any cringe or discomfort before holding her hand wholly. "D-Do you think it would be fine for the vaisel?" She agreed on Davyne's point on thick fur of the minis would keep it warm, but the ghoul always worried about something when it came to felines.

Staring at their hands holding, the two gummi decided to imitate. The Luring jumped onto the edge of the bench while another one flew closer to it and had their short front limbs touched. A red leaf fell onto the nose of the trick redux and it sneezed, the movement of the uplifting leaf caught its instinct to hunt and it clawed at it for a little play time. The autumn in Halloween was brisk and comfort, with occasional dry cool breeze sweeping over the park and rolled up fallen leaves to dance with it.

Davyne made no signs of discomfort, only watched the other ghoul with detached interest. "Yes, that should be fine. Your hands are not uncomfortably cold."

The little Vaisel chirped again, watching the two gummi with interest. Its little nose sniffled, trying to catch their scent - it had rarely been exposed to other minipets, but she supposed now was as good a time as any to start.

Before that, though. Withdrawing her hand from Arynek's, she reached down to gently grasp Vaisel with both hands, before gingerly transferring it to the other ghoul's lap.

"There," she stated, a bit redundantly. Truth be told she was still not entirely sure what to feel about this whole thing, but it was in Vaisel's best interest. She just had to remember that.

The assurance from Davyne resulted in a small shy delighted smile, the tendrils rose from her cloak crept spasmodically. The Gummi enjoying their new little game turned at the chirp, giggled at the Vaisel's antics to sniff them.

Putting her hands to surround the tiny Vaisel, the ghoul secured it from rolling off like a newborn in a very cherishing way. "T-Thank you. Does it have a name?" Arynek made sure her laps were comfortable enough for the small minis before gently put it onto them. A hand gingerly stroked on its head and whispered to it, "I-I hope you will like your new home and new friends."

She then looked into Davyne's eyes, "I promise you I'll treat it the best, share my love equally to it and it'll have a happy life." Despite of her small voice, the vow was very sincere. Arynek understood how reluctant another ghoul has to give her precious pet up, she wasn't good at comforting so the only thing she could do was to give Davyne her heartful promise.

The little Vaisel stared at its original owner, she seemed to have so many words to tell it. It didn't understand complicated emotions like that, so it tilted its head at Davyne. It licked the finger with an unusual grey color, thinking it might be a game the ghoul play with it. Arynek twitched at the strange sensation, unsure what to do, her hand paused in mid-air.

Yes, that's my SN. akljdflksdjklfj it's more like Arnyek's a romantic type, she could find beauty in things easily through observation. Anyway, thank you <3333
