Sanidine was always up for a little bit of mischief, and considering his fairly recent promotion of Captain, it made him feel like he could get away with a little more. Honestly, he hadn't really intended to ever see his psuedo-roommate, sort of ex-boyfriend, coworker while he was in this get-up, but he already knew that he was totally unidentifiable like this.

And it was Evan's fault for walking home without him, anyway.

…Well, no, if they wanted to get technically, Zack had said he would be there to pick Evan up at a little before midnight (as, Zack always worked Evan's needs around his schedule and wasn't willing to sacrifice his freedom or his need to get some actual Nega-work done) but there he was, bag slung over one shoulder, hurrying home.

Not fast enough, though.

Sanidine caught that little limp that Evan had been trying to hide and watched him shuffle along uncomfortable for a minute before he had decided to approach him.

And then things had gotten fun—for him, at least.

Picking on Evan was always fun. He'd enjoyed watching the younger male bristle when 'a stranger' had approached, and he'd enjoyed the way Evan had tried to make an excuse and slide away, or when Evan had finally gotten fed up with his prodding and handsy approach and tried to yell at him.

It was cute. Partly because Evan was tiny and he knew exactly where to poke and prod to bring him down, and partly because while he was Captain Sanidine, there wasn't a damn thing Evan could do.

And slowly, Evan seemed to realize that Sanidine wasn't going to just go away, and the more Sanidine pushed him, the more desperate he got. Which was how Evan, fumbling desperately and making pleading excuses to just leave him alone, wound up succumbing to Sanidine's demand to hand over his wallet.

Sanidine had considered draining his energy, and was still thinking it over; he really didn't need Evan's money, but watching the guy stumble over his words was at least keeping him amused as he flicked through the wallet, examining the contents. Which, tucked behind a credit card, included a picture of him and Zack.

Too perfect.

He'd slid the picture out and was cooing obnoxiously, even as Evan tried to swipe it out of his hand. Distracted by his mayhem, Sanidine was only slightly aware of the nearby Order energy signature. "He's cute," he mused, holding the photo just out of reach. "Seems like the type of guy I wouldn’t mind bothering. Are you two dating?"

"Knock it off," Evan had hissed, his anger and humiliation clashing. "—If you want the money, take it, but stop going through my stuff!"

Sanidine clucked his tongue and shrugged, still examining the photograph. He persisted, "Do you live together?"

"Stop that," Evan said, more cautiously now. He was still favoring his leg and Sanidine made quite the show of nudging it when he side stepped Evan's hand once more trying to snatch the photo away. He relished the little gasp of what he assumed was discomfort or pain and went on, "Your address up to date? I might go check him out. I bet he'd like me more than you if I laid on the charm."

Evan wasn't arguing now, but rather like a schoolyard bully and his little victim, he was just stretching to try and snatch back the wallet regardless of repercussions.

"But I could just take you back with me. You seem full of enough energy, I'm sure the Negaverse wouldn't mind a donation." He flexed the hand not holding the wallet and planted it on Evan's chest as if to push him away, but there was a look on his face that said this was about more than that.

He was thinking about the pulsing, beating starseed under there. Wondering what it felt like. Wondering what noise Evan would make if he started playing with that.

He hadn't pulled one out before, and there was a strange, compelling need. Voices seemed to whisper for him to take it, and his body felt so heavy—except moving the hand to the chest felt so easy, so right

Evan's words were lost on his ears as he stared down at the male; all he heard was his own rushing blood, and all he could think about was what would it feel like

And Evan didn't have any idea what was going on, what this stranger was thinking. All he knew was that of all his priceless possessions, the ones that meant the most were in his wallet. Money was replaceable. Cards could be cancelled. But the photos…the notes…

He couldn't lose those.

And he didn't even realize what else he could lose by fighting for them.

Lysithea was being lazy as was beginning to be the norm in her patrols…but tonight it seemed that she wouldn’t get a chance to keep being lazy…oh no. She had happened upon a nega picking on a person…and not just any person either. It was Evan. And it wasn’t just any negaverse guy either…it was Sanidine. And he was stronger.

With a heavy, dramatic sigh the super senshi jumped off of the rooftop she had been relaxing on and somehow managed to wedge herself between Evan and Sanidine…of course that meant his outstretched hand managed to land somewhere…well. Well somewhere it shouldn’t have been.

“And just what the hell do you think you’re doing to this kid, Sanidine? Being a jerk as usual, I see.” She put her own hands out, pushing against the captain, trying to remove his hand from her boob. Because…she didn’t want his hand on her boob. Duh.

Sanidine blinked when all of a sudden he wasn't touching Evan, he was touching boob. Sort of the same thing, but one was arguably much more stimulating in this particular moment. He lit up like a puppy, almost. "Lysithea," he purred. "It's so good to see you. This kid and I were just having a little fun, right?"

Evan was wide-eyed and confused, half glad and half disturbed by the woman who had intruded. He looked between the two of them and then, while Sanidine was distracted, took the opportunity to snatch the picture out of the Captain's hand.

"Hey!" Sanidine said, moderately surprised that Evan had managed to move so fast. Evan tried to swipe for his wallet, but Sanidine was onto his game and moved that away before Evan could snag it. "Two against one isn't very fair, Lysithea," Sanidine huffed, holding the wallet out of reach of both of them. He wasn't making any effort to move the hand planted on her chest.

"If you wanted to be this close to me, you just had to show up. We can ditch the kid and go back to my place if you want," he winked. When Evan lunged for the wallet, he just held it up and out of reach, grin on his face. He wasn't even looking at the civilian; his eyes were locked on Lysithea's.

“Fine.” Lysithea snapped, regretting the decision almost at once after she got half a moment to think about it. “Give the kid back his wallet, and you and I can go somewhere and…and catch up. I see you’ve gotten stronger too…”

She tried to push him a little harder, then finally let her hands drop. “…Took you long enough, slacker.”

If she could keep him distracted long enough…Evan could get away. So long as Evan got away…well, that was all that mattered at this moment in time. Anything after that…she could deal with it. But Zack would be so upset if something happened to Evan…so would she, if she was totally honest with herself.

She liked the kid. He was really sweet. “So what do you say, you want me, all alone down an ally, or do you want some kid that you’re playing keep away with…the choice is yours…but I tell you…” The senshi moved a little, face turning a bright red at what she was doing…but it was to save someone. It was noble.

…Maybe not terribly noble, but noble none the less.

Evan didn't seem to like the way she was talking, and watched her with a wary, reserved look. He didn't like what she was suggesting, and he looked uncomfortable with the idea of abandoning her to some creep's whims. He was pale just from the thought.

"I don't know," Sanidine purred, leaning closer. "…I was kind of having fun with keepaway."

"—You should just leave," Evan blurted.

Sanidine looked over at him, one brow raised.

Evan continued, "He just wants my wallet, so whatever, he can have it. I don't care. Just walk away, and I'll walk away, and we'll all go home and this never happened."

Sanidine's lips pursed and he looked back to Lysithea. "…I keep the wallet, he goes home, you and I find a nice alley to catch up in."

“Kid, don’t worry about me, I’ll be just fine.” Lysithea turned to look at Evan and she reached over, ruffling his hair. “I know just how to deal with this creep, so why don’t you run on home, I’ll get your wallet back, and I’ll be fine. I promise.” She winked. There was no doubt that she would and could retrieve the wallet…but if Evan decided to stick around…that was the only uncertainty in her plan…she couldn’t let him get hurt.

But he was so damn stubborn.

The senshi flashed Evan one last smile that she hopped was encouraging, and turned back to Sanidine…to the real threat in this situation. “I’ll get the wallet at the end of our conversation, Sanidine, that’s a promise I make to you, and I’ll find this kid again and give it back someday. So, let him go, keep the wallet for now if you must, but I would really appreciate it if you would give it back.”

She looked at the captain, and with a small sigh, gave a little wink at the end of her comment. “I might even kiss you for being so nice. Maybe. If I think you’re doing it out of the kindness of your little black heart.”

Evan looked desperate and opened his mouth to protest again, but Sanidine didn't really give him the option to say anything. He cut Evan off before he could say anything.

"Well," he purred happily, "if that's what you're offering, I suppose I'm a little more willing to negotiate. But." He turned to look at Evan's pale, worried face. "In a more private setting."

Sanidine grinned, sharklike, and wrapped his arm tightly around Lysithea's waist. He winked to Evan--and then teleported away, Senshi in hand.

Evan was left staring breathlessly at the empty spot they had just been standing in. His legs felt weak and his stomach flopped; vision swimming, he didn't know what to do.

So he ran home and called the cops.
