A slippered foot stepped down on smooth concrete, followed by another. Then they disappeared and stepped down again. This time on a rooftop, almost 10 stories higher. Methone was moving tonight. Moving fast tonight.
She had caught the whiff of a chaos, of a captain stage and was in pursue of it. She was going to find every single one of them after all.
Plus, she was Transcended now, so wouldn't it be fun to test this new glowing power out? She wondered.

Ashanite had felt Eternal auras before - but nothing like the one he felt now. That made him nervous. The last time he had run into an Eternal with a different-than-usual aura, Maia had nearly taken him apart.
He was not interested in the possibility of another beating.
At first, he considered running, but whoever it was was likely faster - best, instead, to wait and prepare. He wasn't threatening, but he was holding his dagger tightly, tucked behind a rooftop access, until he realized he recognized the bearer of the aura.
"Methone?" He said, stepping out and dismissing his weapons. "Is that you?"

She felt the chaos aura and almost gagged. It was so muddled and felt so heavy, and she wondered if because her planets power made her so....pure and sweet that chaos now felt worse.
She didn't know what else came with her new powers, but she was finding quickly they did something.
"Plou?" She actually looked shocked to see him, especially so soon after Monty had told her about him. She rushed over, taking his cheeks in her hands and looking at him.
"You're alive...."

"I'm alive," Ashanite acknowledged, and there was half a smile on his face. This was painfully bittersweet - but mostly bitter. It was good to see her again, but the glow that traced her skin - he had been like that once, in the future that still haunted him. It made her untouchable by chaos.
Unfortunate.
"And look at you," he said, one hand going to rest on hers. "Eternal and aglow. You've done well for yourself." To say the least.xPixie Nixie gotta love when you catch a typo days after you write the tag, oh well

His smile was sad and her heart ached to see him so, It made leaving him there, in that hell so much worse. He was still kind to her, still charming. Still Plou.
"I don't know what it means yet, besides that I have a bit more energy." She smiled softly, "The glow makes me stand out as is, do you think it looks weird?" She let the hand he didn't hold fall to the stars on her stomach. "Does it hurt you to be around me?"

Ashanite took what information she gave him, even if it was just a little. She felt more energized - that had to mean something, beyond just the basic.
"I think it looks lovely," he complemented honestly. It did, but he suspected it would be very hard for Methone to look anything but. She was as radiant as her sphere, really. "It doesn't...hurt, but it is a little uncomfortable," he confessed, and he exhaled. "I wish it wasn't this way. I wish..." He stopped, shook his head. "It doesn't matter. I'm just glad you're alright."

"Ah I learned...I could heal some wounds and small aches too. Pep up some people. I don't seem to lose...energy though. And if I don't visit my world...it starts to make me sick." She rambled, just happy enough to see him.
It was like Monty said, he was still in there. He was still there somewhere.
"I've heard from someone, its like sugar, candy? Too much pureness." She laughed awkwardly. "there is hardly anything else, and no one else in the saturn team has come to this yet...I'm hoping they do." She didn't want to see another corrupted.
"...Will you come back to us?" She looked at him, "Do you...not want too?"

"That sounds...incredibly useful," Ashanite said. "I would love to have a skill like that." It would, if nothing else, make him actually useful in the now, instead of as an abstraction. Of course, to have that power, he would have had to stay Order, continue to struggle desperately against theniverwhelming tide of the Negaverse.
Not a pleasant prospect.
"Too pure - I would say that is almost how it feels." He laughed dryly. "I should be more afraid, or uncomfortable, I suppose, but - not around you." And here she, too, mentioned a team. "Mont Blonc told me you were all working together." If he had been a part of something like that, would he have stayed? He wasn't sure.
But he did wince, visibly, when she mentioned coming back. "Whether I want to or not doesn't matter, Methone. I do, I would like nothing more than to be off the Negaverse's leash, but...leaving is not an option available to me." He said it with a sad certainty, as if the answer was wholly obvious. "The Negaverse does not take kindly to traitors. Or potential traitors."
