Wrex had had his fill of candy--well, for the moment at least. It didn't take long at all for the growing boil to digest it and then be hungry once more: such was the curse and drive of his species. He kind of wished that wasn't the case for once, he LIKED being able to savor his meals. Ah well.
Now there was something new on the menu, however: sinnamon rolls. Wrex had no idea what exactly that was, other than it probably tasted good, but he was mildly put off by the fact that he had to actually, well, cook it. He was used to consuming his food raw or right out of the market, since his stomach could handle most things pretty well anyway. But it smelled so good...He couldn't pass it up.
Fumbling with his gloves (grumbling to himself about preparations being stupid and why couldn't he just stuff his face he was totally safe gosh), he moved into the Home Wreckonomics class to begin his work.

So, first things first: he had to gather his materials.
GROAN.
First of all, Wrex was a predator, not a prey. He didn't gather anything to get what he wanted, thanks. Secondly, where the heck were these ingredients at? Other students around him seemed to finding them just fine, but he had a lot of trouble locating even a spice.
So desperate to just get on with eating everything already, he tried the trash. Look, maybe there was something there someone had thrown away he could use, okay?

Okay, maybe not this trash can then...how about the other one?
Nope, still no luck. See, this was why he just chewed through his problems. Trying to look around was just bothersome and time wasting when the world was your buffet.
Growling a sigh, Wrex finally managed to locate a white box thing that was cold to the touch. Someone called it a fridge. What was in here? Well...everything, apparently. Was that some sort of trick? Jack, not everything had to get hoarded away to freeze, sheesh!
He happily availed himself of the resources within, however, and returned to his station with an armful of goodies to work with.

Admittedly, he liked making the dough. It was a lot of mashing things together and rolling it around, and the dough actually felt kinda nice to the touch. (Not to mention smelled amazingly.) Even for someone who wasn't used to having normal length arms, Wrex was doing a decent job.
He almost added a little too much of the spice itself, but he couldn't help it: it smelled so goooooood. A little more sugar aaaand he felt he was ready to pop this thing in the oven or whatever.

It was just after he had sliced them up and stuck them in the oven to bake that Wrex encountered a problem. Well, three problems.
Snarling, Wrex went for the black pepper, knowing how potent it could be. He had accidentally tried ingesting it himself earlier.

Man, these things could be really persistent. Luckily they only went one at a time as there was quite a bit of squabbling going on for who got what when.

"Still mine!" Wrex growled as he fended off the last of them, sending the two and their unconscious brother scurrying.
With the last of the gnomes out, he was able to enjoy his sweets in peace. And Jack damn, they were delicious! He had to commit the recipe to memory and show Brute sometime for sure.
