Fall was slowly approaching. The leaves were already starting to turn colours and the wind got a little colder. Piko was resting snugly in Niko's shoulder as he peered out the window of their apartment. He knew that during cold days, it is best to stay indoors.
Flapping his wings he landed on the window sill and shook his body. The Togekiss fluffed his body to contain more heat as he let the Fall air hit his body.
He watched the leaves fall of trees and land onto the grass. Talking in his mind he went and announced which leaves were falling off of the branches. Red leaves. Orange leaves. Brown leaves. White leaf. ... A white leaf? Was there such a thing?
Cooing like an owl, he stretched out his neck and leaned over. Alas, the white spot was still not clear to him as to what it is. Turning around, he looked at Niko, then back at the white spot. Staying inside means getting to nap in the warmth, going out there, well, he would have to brace the cold.
His curiosity pressed on and he decided to go investigate. He pecked on Niko's shirt letting him know that he wanted his trainer to pay attention to him and he flew out the window. "Piko, I won't close the window until you are back," said his trainer who was now out of his view.
Down he went as he fixed his eyes on that white spot in the grass. His curiosity grew bigger and bigger. He had to know what it was.
