Porrima hadn't been having much of a problem with this senshi thing. She lived in the Crystal Academy dorms, so she could basically slip out and come back without much interference. So far, she hadn't even met any people that she was sure were of Chaos. Actually, she hadn't met many people at all, which made her wonder where everyone was lurking. Then again, this was a "secret war," as Hadaya had told her; everyone was probably being super-stealthy to avoid civilian detection.

Everything seemed hunky dory till she felt a peculiar directional unsettled feeling from further down the sidewalk she was on. Directional and unsettled were odd words to use together, but that was it. She could feel something prickly and unnerving coming from somewhere in the distance; was that her first Chaos person? Part of her wanted to retreat, but then she wouldn't be doing her job. She had to at least chase off this person or give them a smack or something. With trepidation, she approached the aura.

The night offered very few chances for energy draining.

Ochre didn't particularly like energy draining, either, so the evening's dull normalcy cheered his spirits. And yet, the more he reflected on why he disliked energy draining, the more he realized that he held no solid reasoning for resisting it beyond sheer laziness. However, every time he asked himself if he felt bad for what transpired with the victim, he couldn't come up with an answer.

And that specific lack of answer persisting for so long was what had Ochre adrift in his thoughts as he patrolled the damp streets. He considered it utterly unusual to lack an answer on such an important subject when he meditated on that situation specifically. Why couldn't he determine how he felt over another person's misfortune? Why had he felt so tired on every occasion that he spent considering it? Even racking his brain now left his limbs leaden and his mind anchored. Much to his displeasure, Ochre had to abandon the thought.

Fortune favored him for doing so, for as soon as Ochre tuned into reality, he realized that a White Moon senshi lingered in the distance. While he could not yet see her, her aura permeated the cityscape thoroughly enough that it caused the corrupt to blanch. His mind wanted to conjure appearances of senshi he met before of similar affiliation, and yet he found himself drawing a blank. Haüyne was once of their ilk, but he couldn't remember her former name or her appearance as a White Moon senshi. He was certain of more than just her, too, but found nothing in the recesses of his mind.

Scratching his ear, Ochre started toward her location from Garden Square. He cut through cobblestone, rounded the old, dried up fountain, and crossed between the overgrown bushes as he advanced toward her in the most direct manner possible.

And when he saw her, he realized there was blood on his fingers.

"You don't belong here." The world came clearly, albeit lacking volume. He paused beneath one of the lamp posts. "This is Negaverse territory."

Porrima stopped when she heard the voice. The unsettling sensation was practically on top of her now, and it was quite clear that the person who had spoken was the source. She whirled around to face him, and she took a few seconds to look him over before addressing him. That was a lovely head of red hair he had, for sure; shame that she didn't bring her sketchbook, or she could have tried to bribe him with a portrait. "Negaverse territory? Are you sure? It looks like any part of the city to me." Her voice was measured and calm, as though it was just a simple discussion and not something with more at stake. As she continued her study of him, her gaze eventually alighted on his fingers.

They were red. "There's blood on your hands," she said with a slight quiver to her voice. If this man had blood on his hands, he probably had just done something terrible and was dangerous. Porrima wasn't sure she was ready to deal with dangerous just yet. "What did you do before coming here? Were you securing the territory? Whose blood is that?" She raised one hand, ready to unleash her magic if she needed to. It was entirely too many questions, but she needed to buy a little time to get herself ready.

"The whole city is Negaverse territory," he responded dully. Wasn't she aware? Didn't anyone give her the memo? Metallia was taking over, whether the White Moon wanted anything to do with it or not. Frustration drove him to consider how best to explain it ţo ̡her̵.

//Protocol 645 engage
...
Why explain? She'll never understand.
Kill her and receive reward.

Ochre continued to stare dully, furrowed his brow, then examined his fingers. She was right; smears of red blood painted over the tips of his fingers. "I... Don't remember." Sounded honest, but not terribly perturbed. it felt, distinctly, like he imagined sleepwalking would be like. Suddenly he was aware, and he was here, but he couldn't remember how he got here. It was a park, he recognized well enough. But what was he doing before he reached this place?

And was the blood his own?

A preliminary check to the back of the ear produced no obvious pains - only a dull, consistent ache that assailed him through multiple patrols. Had he k̴il҉led̛ s̛omȩo͝ne before coming here?

What does it matter.
There are three things
to concern
yourself
with:
Reward,
Not-Reward,
and Punishment.

She raised a hand - good enough. He wasn't taking chances tonight. In return, he started toward her and aimed to tackle her to the ground before she could squeeze off any magic. He didn't want to find out what kind of power she packed unless he was the one casting it.

Porrima tried her best to stay non-commital and appear unruffled. "Mm, maybe. I mean, you can go around wherever you please, but I don't think I've heard of any official statutes dedicating this city to the Negaverse." The fact that he didn't remember where the blood on his hands came from was a bit alarming, to say the least; she was going to make a quip about all the different bloody incidents blurring together, but then he bum rushed her. She barely had time to get beyond "Co-" before he crashed into her, sending her toppling to the ground. A dreadful screech that she didn't even know she was capable of making escaped her, and she started flailing every which way she could with him over her, trying to claw and scratch and squirm her way out. She was probably going to have to go for banning physical attacks; maybe if she was lucky his magic would be defensive and she wouldn't have to worry about an alternate method of attack.
