Late Friday night, at the stroke of midnight making it Halloween, that house reappeared on the top of the hill. The house looked slightly different than it did the previous time. The color was now white, the sidings looked cleaner and less broken. But that only makes the house look more lived in. Which might show that something is truly living in there. The curtains move every so often as if someone was there watching the outside world or walking by. During the night, lights seemed to flicker in the basement, maybe the stairs down there are operational now and can be explored now. It looks like there is welding or something going on in the basement. There must be someone living in the house if work like that is being done right. Again during the day, the door is locked yet seems to open and be inviting at night. Do you wish to enter and explore? Find out what is going on in the house and solve this mystery.

As you enter the front of the house, the foyer definitely looks familiar to the last time you were here. Though it seems that there is less dust less cobwebs and everything seems to be in slightly better condition.
The vase on the small table looks to have recently dead flowers in it, the couple cobwebs in the corners actually have spiders moving across their webs. Realizing that, you see in front of you swinging back and forth in the breeze a small spider.
As you look around you realize there is more changes to the layout of the house in general. The Dining Room is on the east side of the house this time and the Living Room is on the west. The stairwell that you can see is still still blocked off with debris going up but you cannot see the downstairs from here as there is a door blocking sight to the end of the stairs to the north. The door you came in closes with a click and the lock sets itself on the door. Before the door jammed but now it has a working lock and it is apparent the house does not want you to leave yet.

Lamont looks around his eyes taking in the scene around him. Not sure where to go he decides to go to the west.

Laylani looks around to see all the new changes and shrugs. She watches the spider for a bit then heads north.

As you walk through the west door you start to enter the living room. There are is a large table in the center of the room with chairs and couches laid around the table in a cinversation circle. There are a couple of chairs nearby that are set up around the fireplace.
When you finish looking around the room, you notice there are paintings on the walls, walking up to any of them, they do not seem like anything special but as you pass them, in the corner of your eye, the paintings with people in it have their eyes following your movement. The further you walk in the more the paintings are watching you as the fire sparks to life in the west side of the room.
Its almost as if the house is inviting you to sit, relax, stay for a while. Or stay forever.

As you head north you go past the stairs and into the kitchen, wasn't that to the west before? Strange, to the right it looks like there are stairs going down, they seem to be clear of debris and stable enough to go down.
As you look around the kitchen, you notice the knives are in their proper places, the pans hanging up neatly and little to no rust on them. The cupboard doors shut tight but what is new is the small candilabra in the center and candles around the edge of the room. Upon looking at the candilabra the candles in the entire room spark to life giving off a flickering dim light. The stove even comes on and the smell of delicious food begins to fill the room.
The house is trying to feed you, you must be hungry from traveling the house so far, its just trying to be nice right? It wouldn't be trying to keep you here forever, never able to leave, the door wasn't a hint was it?

Laylani frowns at the kitchen. "So weird. Sorry I'm going to keep exploring but it's kind of you to offer." She shrugs not sure if the house can understand her but she looks around and heads down the stairs.

Blue makes her way through the room rather uneasy about the paints that are around the room though she doesn't leave. Instead she makes her way to the North West part of the room to look around a bit more to see what ever happens?

Lamont watches the paintings amused and plays with them running back and forth. After a while he shrugs and goes to the north east

As you go through the door, you enter what looks to be a library. You scan around the room and notice the chairs, there is a chill that enters your bones as you see an apparition, walk through you over to one of the chairs, sits down, picking up and book and begining to read. The apparition looks up from the book at you standing there, smiles and then slowly disappears into nothingness as if he was never there.
After it is gone, you notice in that exact chair the apparition was sitting in, a faint light eminates as if from nothing. Could that light be the ghost there or maybe something else? On the table next to the chair you notice the book sitting there is the same book the ghost was reading, it was like he picked up a ghostly version of the book to read before disappearing.

Just as you enter the room, you see that Laylani is going down the stairs into what could only be the basement but that was blocked off before when you were last in the house, wasn't it? The candles are all on in the room and it is filled with the smell of baked bread and cooking meat. It wants to feed you, maybe you will stay with it if you eat.
Walking more towards the center of the room, you see a faint outline of something moving through, it looks to be an older man. He comes from the east side of the room, looks at you in your eyes, he has no pupils or iris's, just plain white eyes and then looks downstairs where Laylani went. Smiling a big toothy grin he follows Laylani down the stairs to where you can no longer see him.

As you walk downstairs, you reach the bottom steps and feel a sudden chill go through you, an apparition has just walked through you and took a right, going to the room to the west of the house. Before going through the west door he looks at you, in the eyes as if he knows you are there and is a sentient apparition. He fades to non existence in the door way smiling, leaving only his eyes there for a second longer than the rest of him.
Looking around the room you notice there is a large table in the center of the room. On the table there are lots of paperwork with equations, schematics, prototypes and drawings. On the wall in front of you, there are specific schematics pinned to the wall. They are of a baby, child and adult iZunes, as well as the cat familiar that was found earlier and what looks like a dragon?

Laylani shivers and hugs herself from the cold. Watches the apparition and looks around the room. Stares at the cat that had been there last time. The image was so cute. She wonders what the dragon is and what happened to the family that used to live her. "Ok ghosty lets see what you want to show me." She goes to the west where the ghost disappeared.
