In spite of being addicted to his now tragically useless 3DS, October was, sadly, woefully inexperienced in dealing with most electronics. The phone given to him by the Deus workers had appeared alongside his coat when he'd found his room in the dank basement, and for the most part, October had just let it sit and gather dust.
At least until he'd been informed, in not so many words, that having the phone not on him was a Very Bad Idea.
So he was carrying it with him now, fiddling with the buttons as he tried to send a text message. Brie would, unfortunately, get several blank screens and then a series of single letters as October accidentally hit send before he'd actually typed anything out.Quote: Text to Brie: nt to come spar me Quote: Text to Brie: im on training field

As much as Brie did love technology, phones were something of which she tended to use the least in her daily life previous to day zero. With the phones now being something of regulation, the red head made sure to carry it on her person at all times.
Lips twitching into a smile when receiving the numerous messages from her former faction leader, Brie made her way to the training fields, adding a small text in return. With October's lack of knowledge on the tech, it was unknown whether or not he'd see the message before she even got there.kuropeco Text to October: Be there in five. Stepping out onto the training field, her attention focused on October as she made her way over to him. "Still not got the hang of the phone?"

By the time Brie arrived, October had pretty much given up on ever actually learning to use his phone. The look he gave the redhead was one of distress as he slid the offending object into his pocket - and while he still wore the bandanna over the lower half of his face, Brie had known him long enough to probably distinguish what he was thinking most of the time.
"Phones are complicated things," he informed her, voice slightly muffled. He'd already summoned his sword, which was stuck point down into the grass of the training field a few inches away, his hand wrapped around the hilt of it.
"Anything exciting happen since you got here?" October asked, gesturing vaguely for Brie to start. Doing so himself was too much effort.

With the look of distress on October's face, it was then Brie made a mental note to teach him how to use one. Or at least attempt to. It's not like she was exactly an expert on the subject. "Don't worry, we'll get it sorted eventually."
Moving over to stand beside him, her attention shifted to his weapon and then back to him. "No really. But from what I heard, a lot happens around here, so I'm sure we'll get to see some action or something eventually." Not that she was really looking forward to it, what with the whole undying still so present in their minds.
"What about you? Any interesting encounters to share?"kuropeco Sorry! A little busy irl, so might be slow @@ <3
