Aphelion had been excited for this field trip. His dad had told him a lot about stars but he didn't always understand. The caretaker at school said that the planetarium would explain things so they would all understand, so this was a good opportunity, in Aphe's mind. He'd be able to talk a little more with his dad about the stars that he loved! And also Alice, she'd probably be interested too.
The planetarium itself was huge. Aphelion wasn't quite sure what he'd been expecting, but something this big wasn't it. The little mutant blinked his four eyes up at the building in front of them, momentarily forgetting to keep up with the group. He snapped out of his daze after a few moments, then then trotted awkwardly after the rest of the group. Those hooves of his were still a bit awkward on slick surfaces like the marble walkway to the front doors!
Just as he reached the back of the group, he tripped, smacking right into the freshling in front of him as he toppled over. Oh dear.
