Kekeovonnai was so excited - a friend of a friend from the Arcane college had found a fossil for him at the quarry, and he couldn't wait to take a look. Apparently, it was in the posession of a greedy quarrymaster, so Keke had made sure to bring money. He still felt it was strange and funny to ascribe value to coins, but he was paid in them by the Arcane college and Xenosa had even more. So, he had money, he had transportation, and he had a fossil waiting for him at the end.
In all, the khehorian professor was having a very good day. He stopped to eat a packed lunch, not too far from the quarry...
