The Geist had been acting brooding and isolated for a while now, and even their twin began to wonder what was wrong. Muere wasn't a big talker or much of a social person to begin with, but this was weird even for them. Aside from 'kidnapping' Mora's son Nex on a regular basis, Muere didn't really spend much time with anybody outside band practice these days.
At first they couldn't really figure out why, either, but as Nex began to be a little more independent and Mora started to put her foot down on the matter of Muere trying to claim the child, it dawned on the latter that all they really wanted was a child of their own. They weren't the romantic type, and had never even dated - it wasn't something they found to be of importance. But ever since Nex appeared in their lives, Muere had been feeling a void in their heart, a void that needed to be filled.
Besides, wouldn't it be good for Nex to have a cousin, a playmate to grow up with? They could almost grow up as siblings, as Muere was already trying to act like a parent to their sister's spawn.
Not like they needed a partner to imbue a stone, or to raise the baby. Plus practically everyone in their band was planning on children or already having them, so they could all help each other out.
Feeling more confident than in a long time, Muere decided to request for a partially imbued stone as soon as possible.
