Noemi had been REALLY worried about her Alpaca that she had left to silence an annoying snorer. She was pining for it and the only way to retrieve it, without acknowledging that she went into a strangers room was to go back to said strangers room and retrieve the Alpaca before anyone could see her.
Using those mist skills, she doubled checked over her shoulder and tripled checked her shadowing and then tried to pick the lock of Rhys room.
She was really good at picking locks though, so that was good. Now to find her precious!

Rhys was pretty much minding his own business, walking back to his room after a decent shower in the first-floor bathrooms. The day had gone rather uneventfully and surprisingly he'd kept to his routine gym, training, duties, duties, and more duties until dinner. Now he was ready to call it a night, so he was dressed down in just his pajama bottoms, with a towel slung over his shoulder. He was even whistling a tune as he went through the basement hallways, all the way down to his room where his door was...wide...open.
He quirked a brow and headed inside, brow quirking at the sight of an unfamiliar person looking for...something. He cleared his throat.
"Can I help you?"

Noemi nearly jumped out of her skin and turned, looking at the man. Her immediate gaze was drawn to...chest. Why did the men around Deus just waltz with no shirts on? why was there no shirts?
She stuttered and then quieted and then looked down at her feet.
"Y...Y...You....you have....my..." She started turning a brilliant shade of red. She closed her eyes and then burst out. "ALPACA!!"

Sea green eyes watched her watch him for a moment, brows slowly scrunching together as they had a brief staring contest. To be fair, he probably surprised her, but she was the intruder in this scenario, so. That sort of made them even.
What eventually came out of her mouth surprised him. No, more confused him, and he blinked.
"A...alpaca?" he asked, not really sure what in the hell she was talking about.
"Look, uh..." he squinted at her but quickly gave up trying to remember her name (if he ever knew it to begin with), "girly, I think you got the wrong guy. I don't think we've even ever met."

She nodded.
"You...we...haven't. I am Noemi." She fidgetted, "And....you have...something of mine." Her face turned redder and she covered her cheeks, heat blazing.
How did one tell another about late night adventures? Well, Noemi was nothing but honest, so she struggled to get past the embarassment.
She focused on a spot over his head and then took a deep breath.
"A couple nights ago...you were snoring. It was...ruining my sleep." She muttered, "So...so I took my Alpaca animal....and I put it over your head." She flushed. "Can....can I have her back...?"

Noemi...Noemi...the name was familiar, but he couldn't quite place from where. He watched her try to explain herself, all the while turning into a tomato of some kind, and finally something clicked and he gently tapped a fist into his open palm.
"Ah!" he started, then leaned forward slightly to look her over to make sure he was getting the details right. "Milo's Noemi, right? That's why the name's familiar..."
He'd momentarily forgotten about her alpaca in favor of finally remembering where he'd heard her name before.

She was fidgeting and trying hard to literally not die from the embarrassment that was admitting that she was in a STRANGE MANS ROOM late at night.
Oh goodness, What would Shu say? What would Milo think? Milo don't worry! Noemi was ever faithful to you! She was just here to retrieve her dear Alpaca friend! She should've never abandoned her to this man's...er...way. Yeah.
"O....Oh..." She flushed even harder because Milo's Noemi....."i...yes. Milo is....my...um...I know Milo." She looked away again. "So...so about...my um Alpaca....." Just please give it to her so she could move on before people misunderstood.

Truthfully going into his room in the middle of the night wasn't something he'd hold over anyone's head, least of all a girl who was just trying to get him to stop snoring.
At mention of the alpaca it finally dawned on him which alpaca she was talking about (as though he had any other alpacas in his room), and he quickly crossed the small space and reached into one of the boxes to procure said stuffed toy.
"This one?" he asked, then offered it to her. Then pulled it back briefly. "So lemme get this straight, you came in here and tried to smother me with this thing?"

Rhys wasn't a fan of apologizing, he'd heard it was a sign of weakness (according to some show or another he caught a few times), but he shrugged and forked over the toy.
"Long as I'm not dead, we're good," he said simply. "Name's Rhys, by the way. I'll try not to snore like a monster struck, but no promises."

She graciously took the alpaca back, which looked larger to her small frame and dusted off her precious. Then she squeezed it and smiled a bit.
"Th..thank you for returning her to me." Noemi nodded and then gave another shy smile. "It is...nice to meet you Mister Rhys." She paused.
"It is okay? Um...I will try with pillow next time? If you get too loud." Was she threatening him again?
Maybe.

"Just Rhys is fine," he said. The "mister" part made him think of his dad, which still sucked to remember even after how many years.
The idea of someone smothering him wasn't too appealing either, so to her question (threat?) he waved a hand. "Naw, I meant since you already tried and I'm not dead. I don't want ya to try again." Besides, did she event want to come back to his room in the middle of the night?
Not that he'd do anything. He'd probably be completely knocked out, thus the snoring and why she'd be there to begin with.
"How 'bout I just get Breathe Right strips instead? Or you can invest in ear plugs?" Those were uncomfortable, but they helped. Sort of. "Or both?"

"I see, Rhys...Rhys it is then!" Noemi nodded. "Oh...well okay. That would be good too." She nodded.
She paused, "Oh! We have some...in the infirmary. Have you...seen most of the Island?" She looked at him.
"Do you know where Infirmary is?"

He gave a thumb's up when she sort of agreed to go with his solution to the snoring issue. It would probably help more than just her, so. For once maybe he was being a little considerate.
He plopped down onto the bed and leaned against the cold cement that served as his headboard. "I've been around, had duty in the infirmary once or twice. Mostly cleaning."
And then he shrugged. "Think they'll let me take a box of the stuff for free? Or d'you think you could smuggle a box out for me?"

"I WILL SMUGGLE BOX!" She yelped and then clung her alpaca tight.
"It will be no problem. You will have it." And she could have quiet peaceful sleep.
"O...okay. I should go...." So people didn't think it was weird she was loitering in a strangers rooms.
