***Spoilers ahead for anyone who hasn't read Micah or the first few chapters of Danse Macabre......*** (from Narniakat)
Okay so in the first chapter of Danse Macabre Anita might be pregnant. It is either Richards or Nathaniels. If she did have a kid would that kid be a lycanthrope or some s**t like that. And if so would they be a panwere because Anita has lycanthropy in her blood she just doesn't change shape.
Please help me. My friends and I are just wondering and it is going to drive me crazy if I don't get more input. Thanks.
P.S. Yes I know that the kid is probably not Jean-Claude's, Asher's, Damian's, or Micah's. I just wanted to know.

the lycanthropy that is in Anita's blood is not inherited. So her baby would not be one. If the baby had any abilities they would probably be necormancy like Anita, since that is inherited. Can't wait to find out! xd heart

I started laughing at the thought of Jean Claude as the father. That is just hillarious at it's best.

Damian would be the bad daddy. Just the impression I have. Nathanial would be devoted, fun and responsible. It's the impression he gives, or at least that's how I read it. Micah would also be devoted and responsible. Less on the fun though, I still don't trust him wholely. Richard would be responsible. He may not be the fun/devoted type, but he's a teacher. He'd have to love kids and be responsible with 'em. Jean Claude is an iffy factor... Bordering on Damian and Micah. Quick Edit: I forgot Asher.. Asher is a big question mark..

I can't see any of the vampires being fathers. I mean... they're just... gah. They don't have any clue anymore of what it's like to care for people (I mean as in taking care of, not caring for someone).
Richard... would freak. And then he'd want to get married. White picket fence and all. *shudder*
Micah I could see... assuming it was physically possible. But, since he's a live-in boy, he gets to care for the kid anyway. Woot!
Nathaniel is my favorite. I really think that he'd be the best at relating to the child, and the most... enchanted with the whole prospect. He'd be cute with a kid... blaugh
EDIT: Regarding the lycanthropy issue... since lycanthropy is transmitted through the blood, isn't it feasible that it would be passed on to the child?

I do think the lycantrope thing would be an issue because of the blood passing from Anita to the child.
I agree with Fenris that Richard would be a very responsible dad, but I am sure he and Anita would fight endlessly with how the child would be raised.
I think whomever the father was the child would have an incredibly loving group of people surrounding it and taking care of it. And as confusing as Anita's life is, it would have much more love in its life than alot of "normal" parented kids have.

As I went to answer the poll and my cursor was over Richard, I stopped and realized that I wasn't answering the question... Who would you rather have as the father is different than who is most likely the father and I'd really rather not have Richard as the father. Actually, I'm not exactly sure who I would have, but I'm of the opinion that Richard has quite enough of his own issues to work out before he can fit a kid into his life. The two most likely fathers, though, would have to be Richard and Nathaniel, IMO. As it is, though, I really don't think it makes that big of a difference who the father is; they'll all be a part of the child's life, assuming Anita even keeps the baby. So many big questions here!

Neko_Kitsuni Regarding the lycanthropy issue... since lycanthropy is transmitted through the blood, isn't it feasible that it would be passed on to the child? I had always thought that it couldn't be.....but a female Lycanthrop can't carry a child......so the isue never arouse. Anita dosn't have the change, and it is in her blood....... eek

I had always thought that it couldn't be.....but a female Lycanthrop can't carry a child......so the isue never arouse. Anita dosn't have the change, and it is in her blood....... eek A female lycanthrope who got the disease passed to her by family blood can carry a child... because they choose when they shift, they're not linked to the moon cycle. A female reptilian lycanthrope no matter how she got it can carry a child... only not really. She can just choose to lay eggs. The rest of the women? screwed over. Is that the right choice of words? Hey, so if Anita's passive strain (I really have no idea what you're talking about since I haven't read Micah but going by what you're saying...) is of a reptilian strain... could she just lay eggs and have one of the guys sit on 'em to keep 'em warm? Yeah, I pulled that out of nowhere. woot! lol
