■ RESOURCEFUL When he wants to be, Jamie is excellent at finding the right strings to pull. He's got a great network of acquaintances with various talents and callings, and knows who to call for what kind of dilemma. He is proficient at solving puzzles, though his solution is not always the intended one. Some people might think he's a hoarder, because he has a large collection of seemingly useless artifacts. In reality, he simply knows what might come in handy, and keeps a detailed catalogued inventory.
■ INTROVERTED Jamie's social energy runs out very quickly, and he functions socially only when dealing with a single person at a time. He hates parties and functions, and needs alone time before and after an encounter with another person. People make him nervous, and they also mildly disgust him, especially the adult kind. He prefers animals and small children, as their innocence is intact.
■ EMPATHIC What may contribute to Jamie's introversion is his empathy. The poor man feels the weight of everyone's strife in addition to his own.
■ JUDGMENTAL Jamie, while well-intentioned, is not very open-minded. It does not take very much to get on his extensive bad side. He jumps to conclusions quickly without considering the extenuating circumstances a person may have endured. If he learns about these circumstances, he may change his mind, but initially he will judge and exclude. There is a lot that he complains about, and in order to understand that everything is not as bad as he makes it out to be, he needs someone to push him towards reconsideration.
■ AMBITIOUS This quality is currently hidden deep inside. Circumstance has made Jamie scared and unwilling to budge, but in truth, he always harbors some kind of drive to get out and start making a name for himself. He secretly desires to rise high in both popularity and wealth, and to be the best at what he decides to do.

CHILDHOOD Jamie’s family was the estranged/blood traitorous branch of a blood purist clan. They were content with their segregation; happy to rely on one another rather than face the arrogant prejudice of their relations. Jamie’s first few years were happy. His parents had an infinite source of love, for each other, their family, and the world. When Jamie was five, his brother Isaiah was born. He was a dutiful older brother, always reading to and feeding the child. But Isaiah died of SIDS when he was four months old. Their mother was stricken with depression, and although there was no physical evidence, Jamie’s father knew that the fatal “accident” was, in truth, a suicide. He turned to alcoholism, and the family lost what little wealth they had accumulated.
SCHOOL YEARS Jamie did well in school, his motivation being his father’s salvation. He knew that nothing would get better if he didn’t take control himself, and hoped to relieve their debt by getting a good job. Because of his dedication to schoolwork, he missed out on making friends. Toward the end of his sixth year, his father died of alcohol poisoning. Having spent so much time working toward helping him, Jamie was left lost and hopeless, with no one to turn to. His last year in school was worthless. He went to classes, but paid no attention and did no work. His graduation was untimely, and he was thrown into the world unprepared.
POST GRADUATION Anything but a productive societal contributor, Jamie sought solitude. He bought a Volkswagen bus with what was left of his father’s savings, and settled down in the woods to live a life of recluse.
