Dal'Mori's first Code Core was made out of the sheath that holds his weapon to his back. Figuring it would be the last place any would think to look to find the Code.

Upon defeat of the Vault Buster, this particular article of equipment changed to take on a tough leathery appearance, with miniature horns in place of the hooks that were there to hold it in place upon whatever piece of clothing he desired it to be hooked to.
