Yue had been conflicted for a long time. She had started out in Arkham and then fallen in love with history and learning all the special things that made nightmares what they were today. So as soon as she could it made sense that she would transfer over to Eldritch. It wasn’t until she met Tobias however that she had any drive in life. She could often see that he struggled with not knowing his people's history and where exactly he belonged. He struggled without having any one to go to and it wasn’t just him. It was a constant thing with all the grimm she met. So it had awakened a drive to be an Archeologist/ Anthropologist to help find information to bring to all those Grimm students. When the Grimm came to the school she was a little put out and wondered if it was worth trying to find this lost history. After all the Grimm weren’t as grand or epic as everyone had been lead to believe. It wasn’t until later that she thought about it. She realized the Grimm that had come to her school was only one tribe. Were there different customs between other tribes? What other information had been lost over time not only from the Grimm but other species as well. Her drive to find out and learn more about ancient cultures was apparently still as strong as ever and she knew she needed more credentials so that people would listen to her and she could have the access and the degree to help her obtain her dream.
There was only one school which would teach her this, which would allow her to get her degree. It would be a big change since it would take her all the way to Asterion. All her friends and even the love of her life where going to Leviathan or Grendel. Asterion was so far away… but she owed it to herself to follow her dreams. She would miss this academy but she was very excited for the future, for what she could continue to learn at Asterion. If she so happened to constantly be using the portal to hop over to Grendel or even back to the academy to see certain people, well that was her business.
