Rheaus Ti’ OroPicture!:

Username: Corvo Bianco
Name: Rheaus Ti’ Oro
Age: 20
Gender: Male
Race: Oceanic Zora (comparable to some Undine illustrations)
Sexuality: Straight
Position: Student
Attitude: Proud, driven, most the time coming off as stoic and aloof.
Personality: When first speaking to Prince Rheaus one may think he’s ready to go to war, and he might be, but a closer inspection will see he is more than soldier; through the course of many hardships his pride and strength in his conviction to return his kingdom to glory and unite his people not only with themselves but with the rest of the Hyrulean races was only forged to an even harder edge. And though he may see most matters as trivial and seem aloof to the needs of others it is only because he has, forgive me, bigger fish to fry.
Likes:
His kingdom (East Zora)
most Hyruleans
wind sailing
swimming
the moon
guitar
traveling
Dislikes:
most Hylians
bugs
meat from land animals
deserts
the idea of having superiors
walking
absent minded people/those without goals in life
Defining Features: His fringes and fins are different than most Zora: his anterior seems to be some sort of cuttlefish, his ulnar fins are extraordinarily large, etc. His magic is a deep violet to reflect his royal nature. He also has a distinctively Zoran accent. Whatever he says is tinted shades of Castellano and French. Tats.
Strengths:
strong swimmer
can be on dry land longer than other Zoras
rugged from years of wilderness survival
stealthy
Weaknesses:
needs water… a lot of it/terrible on land
a touch of social anxiety
largely illiterate
weak to fire (unless coated in water)
weak to electricity (pokemon rules from here on)
Bio:
Born a prince, Rheaus Ti’ Oro had only a few things to be concerned with, and those all pointed toward his future kinghood. But that, as Rheaus would eventually figure out, would be a ways off as he was fourth in line for the throne behind his much more well-groomed brothers. To turn an ocean into a kiddy pool, the kingdom had suffered a schism of sorts. The kingdom had divided into the proper Zora domain and the East, the Great Bay faction, and in accordance with the Hyrulean summit the two kingdoms were made to both have hiers of their own so as to be recognised as separate kingdoms in their own rights. It would prevent war, for a while, for neither side wanted to see the other as the proper Zora anymore, but neither would be ready to go to war with a nation which could potentially bring in the other realms and have the whole of Hyrule at their gates.
Now Rheaus was prince once more, and damnit he was proud. But sooner or later war did come, and Rheaus found himself thrown out by his people to save him from assassination should the siege ever break through the palace walls. He spent years wandering the Gerudo desert and eventually the hunters found him. But the wily prince Rheaus slipped through their grasp and found a small group in Deku domain to hid with. Eventually the soldiers found that camp as well, and Rheaus couldn’t run. His whole camp, his brothers and friends, were slaughtered right in front of him. He was nearly killed himself in his struggle to fight back, but the orders were not to kill the prince. Instead they took him to a place they knew he could return from: the inter-world portal. For years he terrorised those unfamiliar with his species by stealing fish and getting by the only ways he knew. It wasn’t so hard. Eventually he caught sight of someone using magic near Augustine Academy. This fascinated him. He thought: there’s only one way to stand a chance of reclaiming the throne, and that was to master the royal flame. He’s now enrolled in Augustine, but what will he find when classes start?
Abilities:
Aquadynamics
-Rheaus is no slouch when it comes to swimming, even by Zoran standards. Thanks to his time in the desert, Rheaus has toughened his fins and can also use them to glide for a short distance.
Zoran Magic
-Zora with the ability to use magic often manifest it as a field of powerful electricity which encompasses their entire body, similar to an electric eel, and Rheaus is no exception. Particularly dangerous is the way his energy clings to his large ulnar fins. This gives him a large area not only to block but to inflict severe damage--more than just the field--through direct contact. When his mana is running low the field shrinks until it barely extends past his being. Being royal, he also has the ability to use the coveted royal flame, which can melt any and all ice, though he has yet to come close to mastering it.
Poe Speak
-In his travels Rheaus encountered many poes wandering the Gerudo domain. Eventually he learned their peculiar language--the hidden one they speak amongst themselves when no one other Hyruleans are around--which has been thought to be a descendant of an old Sheikah dialect, but whenever he has asked a Sheik about it they refused to comment on it. With it he can summon poes and communicate with them--duh--and some of the phrases call forth an arcane magic long ago forgotten by most Hyrulean mages. Though he can summon such magic, he cannot wield it properly yet; all the more reason to further his education in the field.
Warrior Prince
-Prince Rheaus is extremely adept in combatives and has earned the title warrior-prince from his friends in his old camp.
Extra:
Before he left, the current Deku gave Rheaus the Deku Emerald. It’s powers are undeniable, and because of this plants seem to grow more lush wherever he goes. If he stays in one place too long an overgrowth will bloom out of the surrounding soil.
Despite being largely illiterate, especially in the strange lexicon of this dimension, Rheaus is actually a fairly eloquent speaker, so don’t mistake his illiteracy for ignorance.
Rheaus’ electricity is actually fairly weak, as he does not have many eel genes. He does, however, possess a natural affinity for the supernatural, as for his communication with the Poes.
He’s ambidextrous.
