Personality:
Leon is a pretty down to earth guy who is constantly smiling and laughing. True to his race, he is a trickster at heart and loves to play pranks on people, harmless pranks of course. He is incredibly selfless, often putting the well being of others before himself. Leon tends to be quite careless and reckless at times. Recurrently, his rash nature has him charging head first into danger but he never endangers others. When fighting, Leon displays quite the competitive behavior and can become quite cocky when he has the upperhand. It is a heat of the moment thing that he apologizes for following the battle. When things turn sour, he bites his tongue. Rarely does he ever get angry but when he does, his anger is silent and appears serene; however, it lashes out like fire.

Bio:
Leon's family are a collection of prestigious kitsune who have remained in secret, steadily growing their power over the years. Their tradition dates back to old Edo period of Japan, where they used to be skilled warriors and allies to the humans. That is, until they were betrayed, starting their cycle of hatred with them. Skipping forward, his mother Akemi, a powerful and well respected kitsune was in the running to be the next head of the family. She had several children by this time and was married to a kitsune who she didn't love. That was when she met Leon's father, a human. The moment she saw him, it was love but it was also taboo. And yet, she went with her heart anyway and chose to see him in secret. Living a secret life with this man didn't pan out, as the other kitsune soon discovered this relationship. And so they took actions to preserve their family by having the man killed in a way that seemed like an accident. It was done to keep Akemi from being suspicious and turning on them, as they still wanted her to be the head.
But they were too late. She had gotten pregnant from the human and she had no choice but to come clean. Many wanted her to terminate the pregnancy, her husband included but she refused. Instead she was forced to give up the baby after she gave birth. Leon was sent to live with his aunt and uncle on his father's side, where he was also named. As a child, he grew up unaware of who or what he was but was convinced he was different. His senses were very sharp and he had better eyesight than the other kids, being called a freak. And as for his aunt, uncle and cousins, they often tried to avoid him or stay on his good side. He was all alone, surrounded by family...so he started to act out. Leon would play pranks on people to get attention and it worked! It just felt natural and since he was getting attention, this habit of his just stuck. But on his tenth birthday, he received a visit from his mother. It was by far the best day of his life to find out just how different he was. The next day, his mother had to leave him and without an explanation as to why just that she would return for his 15th birthday.
And so, Leon would patiently wait for his 15th birthday, all the while getting to know more about kitsune and about his other abilities. Being around his mother; however short, was something he found hard to explain. It was like being home; having someplace he belonged. When that birthday came, he finally got to see her again and those feeling returned. He hardly knew this woman, but he loved her like a mother. Leon had to know why she could only see him every now and then. The truth...made him feel disheartened but also angry. Not at her, but this family of his that he never even met. After his birthday, he had his uncle help him transfer to Augustine Academy. He wanted to embrace his kitsune self and felt this school would be the best place to accomplish this. Leon also wants to find a way to reach his family and end their burning hatred of humans.
Abilities:
Kitsune Physiology
- The kitsune was born with similar traits as a canine, such as sense of smell, hearing, night vision, predator skills and enhanced body condition. Leon can even possess someone but, he struggles to maintain it for long if the person resists. He also has the ability of dream manipulation, illusion manipulation through his fox-fire and the ability to transform into a fox. However, these abilities he struggles with the most as he only has two tails.
Fox-Fire Manipulation
- Leon's fox-fire is actual fire as apposed to lightning or light. It has all the properties of normal fire and then some. The young kitsune can physically turn into fire, cloak his hands and feet in it or even stand on it. Additionally, his fire drains the life force of those near it, making them weaker. These flames are naturally harmless and require concentration to make them actually burn.
