Finn normally hated pod duty simply because of how ******** boring it was the majority of the time, but on that day, he actually appreciated the break, as it gave him time to think about recent events and conversations. There was a lot that had been weighing heavily on his mind for the past couple of months, and with all of the new information he'd (finally) been given, there was much more for him to puzzle out and piece together than there had been, before. Of course, his thoughts were interrupted when an alarm sounded, indicating that somebody had woken up, and that a pod was opening up to release them. Letting out a long, annoyed exhale, Finn pushed himself back from the table he'd been sitting at, the legs of his chair scraping loudly against the floor with a sound that he felt aptly matched that of his agitation. Snatching up a clipboard, Finn put on his usual cold expression, and began making his way towards the noise, glancing down long rows of pods as he went, until he found the culprit. making his way down towards the opening pod, he stood and waited for the newly awoken to emerge.

At first, she thought she was dreaming still so she tried to roll over, a small grunt echoing when she couldnt really move. "The ********.....?" she grumbled, trying one more time with a bit more strength, only to fail again. Her eyes popped open and she looked around with wide eyes before frowning. Why the ******** was she in something that looked like it belonged in that long a** movie called Prometheus? But there were no parasites so...she was safe then? Eh, whatever.
Mercy took a deep breath and stretched, rolling her eyes. So NOW her body wanted to work? Really? The memories and the feels that accompanied them just slammed into her brain, physically knocked her back for a brief second, reminding her of what happened before she came to be in this space pod. Well...All that just happened. It was then, Mercy noticed the figure before her, identifying said figure as a person. "So let me get this straight, you must be the scientist that tells me Im some sort of bio-weapon with a virus that's set to go off in less than a month? Then I have to do some crazy acrobatic s**t to incapacitate you?"
She tilted her head before continuing, "Or, this is just me waking up and youre here to take me somewhere? Actually, where is here? And who are you? Youre not the guy I talked to in mall...." her head was swirling slightly as she carefully tried to get out of the pod.
She hoped she didnt miraculously gain weight while she was asleep or else she'll be pissed.

Oh great, this one was a ******** comedian, and one that asked a lot of questions as well. Finn let her finish before his lips rose in a smile, though his eye stayed narrowed and cold. "Incapacitate me...." He repeated, "When you can barely even ******** walk?" He rose an eyebrow, and then barked a laugh. "Darling, I could incapacitate you with the flick of a finger. You are currently unbonded, weak, just some random, pathetically mundane, regular human." He stopped speaking for a moment, and gave her a once over, eye flicking up, down, back up again, his unnecessary and likely not at all comforting smile fading away. "You are in hell, also known as an island in the Bermuda Triangle. You have been recruited into a military organization known as Deus Ex Machina, tested, and now awoken, ready to join the cause, become a ******** hero of the world or whatever ******** bullshit nonsense they filled your head with to convince you to come here." He paused, and gave his head a small shake. "Let me be the first to give you my condolences, you poor, clueless b*****d."

WELL, some one was pretty grumpy.
Once Mercy managed to get some what of solid footing, she put one hand on her hip and raised an eyebrow herself. So much for trying to what? Break the ice? Make an entrance? Eh..."What do you mean by regular human? Excuse me but you look like a regular human yourself, youre just probably missing an eye or you want to be a pirate But hey, what the ******** do I know? As far as mundane, pfft! darling I am far from mundane thank you." She noticed the once over and her eyes twitched slightly. Yeah she was kinda pudgy so what?
Ah so if her memory served her right, she was in the right place. It was how she got that that bothered her a bit. Wait, did he just say the Bermuda Triangle?! "Look brah, you seem like you need to get laid or something so I wont sweat the attitude or whatever. I was told to come here to get help with seeing these dumb a** shadows, not to become a hero or whatever other delusional people think. Condolences aknowleged, now how the <********> is this place existing if its in the Bermuda Triangle? Planes and s**t dissappear in there so.."

Finn did nothing but deadpan stare at her as she went on and on, eyebrows only lifting slightly at the pirate comment, which was one that he had heard so many times that it somehow was becoming less funny than it was the first time, which should have been impossible since it was incredibly not funny, to begin with. Reaching up, he pulled the eye patch off, because clearly it was distracting her, and placed it in his pocket. Beneath, more of the scarring on his face was revealed, scars that were bubbled up in places, and shiny, and looked a lot like something corrosive had once been dumped on Finn's face. There was no eye, just a melted ruin of an eye socket. He was absolutely dead calm when he spoke. "Okay, look, you ableist b***h, lets clear something up right off the bat here. What you know, is absolutely ******** nothing, and what I feel like telling you is all you are going to ******** know, for now. Unfortunately, if I decide that I don't like you, then I don't feel particularily inclined to be very ******** helpful, and since you appear to be moron, and I really don't like morons, than I'm afraid, sweetheart, that you are just s**t out of luck." Another cold smile, just before he turned to check the tag on her pod. "Now, Mercy, the exit is that way." He gestured vaguely. "Do feel free to annoy somebody else with your questions."

She didn't even gasp at the sight of the scars, tilting her head while she listened to him rabble on and on. Fine, don't tell her nothing, its cool. She was really trying not to explode, so she tried to mimic his cool tone a voice, ending up with a slight edge and a pretty thick accent while she DARED walk up as close as she could, glaring. "Look here you idiota, pesimista, distante, imbécil! I am NOT a moron! You think just because your some high ranked a** hole that you can talk to me like that?! Don't think I don't know what ableist means and I don't have anything against disabled people! You don't wanna help me then fine! Move the ******** out of my way and let me figure it out my self since obviously you don't like me! I hope your other ******** eye gets melted you ******** puta~!"
With that said, she spit on his shoes before marching around him, wobbling every now and then to the direction of the "exit" as Finn vaguely pointed out. "Ugh, if this place had a** holes like him, Id be better off by my damned self. ******** p***k."

She walked as close as she could, and Finn took a deliberate step back, holding his hand up in a gesture that hopefully conveyed please don't, while his gaze remained cold and steady. If she insisted on getting all up in his face, however, he would simply sigh, and look down at his clipboard, doing his absolute best to ignore her tirade completely as he began to jot down notes on it. The only time he reacted was when she spat on his boots, his nose wrinkling up slightly and a slight snarl to his tone. " Classy." Was all he said, however, though as she marched away, he thought about calling out to her, a warning about how she spoke to superiors, perhaps, since he had learned he hard way that it was never a good idea. And then he decided against it, and simply shouted instead. "Have a fantastic day, princess!" Before glancing down to his boots again, while giving his head a small shake. Those were going to need a good wash and polish, later.
