Creative Writing: They say that the pen is mightier than the sword. No one could agree more than this young woman. She would rather express herself on paper than any other median available. From tails of a Princess turned rouge to stories of a couple separated by a magic orb, Satomi dedicates her stories to a strong willed woman with the support she dreams of. For Satomi, it is all about how a woman can be just as strong as any man.
But where do these writings go after all is said and done? Sadly, many of the more detailed ones never leave her note books. If people are lucky, she will post one online for random publishing going under a false name. She has ended up with a few poems in a book that way.
To keep her skills sharp, Satomi will go sit in on lectures or talks by authors that come into down. Most of the time, she stays in the back of the room and just listens for she’s there to see how others have become a success, not pet egos.
Chinese Paintings: A common practice for the ladies in the Yang house. The honest truth is that she isn't very good at it but her mother feels that if she is ever going to be accepted as a member of the Yang household, she needs to know how to do this. For years she has been forced to sit before a canvas to the point that she has learned to enjoy it. Still, she no longer publicly shows anyone her work, even if her mother has attempted to change this by different means.
Shopping for Clothes: Satomi is never short on the latest fashion and yet, she never wears it. This is her means to get back at her parents for her up-bring. Whenever they crack-down, she takes off to whatever store she is in the mood for and shops, shops, shops. Clothes, shoes, jewelry, anything she can get her hand on. Sometimes she will even help her half-brother out when he comes crawling to her.
Virtues:
Determined: The word ‘impossible’ does not exist in Satomi’s vocabulary. As long as there is faint glimmer of hope, she will go at something until her fingers bleed for once she sets a goal, Satomi sticks with it until the bitter end. She is resolute and unwavering in her desires meaning that distractions from them are few. Yet in the world, not everything can happen the way you want it to. Sadly, no one is perfect and sometimes, even Satomi must admit defeat. Overall she has a hard time accepting the idea of failure tries to learn from her mistakes so that next time, they won’t be repeated. A failure might not be the end of the world; it just means she will try even harder next time.
Tactful: Telling someone that color lipstick doesn’t suit them or that what they said was not at all humorous can be a rather difficult task for most people. Say the wrong thing and the person takes offence leading to either hurt feelings or a confrontation. Wishing to avoid both at all costs, Satomi takes a deep breath and forms the best sentence she can as to be both considerate to others and not hurt the person’s feelings. The last thing she wants to do is give the person a complex about a small matter. If she is unable to verbally comment, Satomi will be the one to give a small hand signal, shake her head, or even pull the person aside to speak to them. One on one is more comfortable than in front of a group.
Intelligent razz ushed from the time she was walking to be the smartest and brightest being around, Satomi does have a high IQ though she won't talk about it to others. She does push herself to get straight A's in school (if she wants to avoid conflict at home that is for a B or lower means a harsh talking-to). From math to English, Science to History, she aces every test thrown her way as a result of hard work, hours over text books, and very little social outings during the school year. All of this work has paid off that she has learned to retain information quickly and draw upon it when needed. Why study the same thing twice when you can learn it once. This helps her move quickly through things she has already seen.
What she can’t do? Home-economics. The girl cannot learn to sew or cook to save her life even with practice.
Flaws:
Secretive: One of Satomi’s biggest downsides is that she is overly secretive. The refined young woman hides anything that she considers personal even to the point of pretending it no longer interests her. Yet, if someone finds out a secret, one of two things is likely to happen: she will shut herself from the person or she will verbally attack the person. It all depends on how deeply that secret is interwoven into her being.
Romantic: Raised in a manner that puts others, especially males, above herself, Satomi has ended up frustrated with it all. This has caused her to withdraw inward and personally focus more on herself than anyone else. She feels alienated from the world because she does not fit in her with family. Even worse, though she rebels in her own pricy ways, Satomi still feels a deep guilt in having come to this. Still, she feels that it is her against the world now.
Jealous:To say that she is a green-eyed monster might be a little harsh but the girl does get jealous whenever she sees something she craves. What drives home the most is seeing people with their families. She is overly so when she sees a peer be told “I’m proud of you” or even “Good Job”. While she can control herself in front of others, Satomi normally break down into tears the moment she gets alone.

Symbol of Grief
Challenge: How will you Grieve?
Attacks: (Baised on Kübler-Ross model
Sailor Scout Attack: Grieving Denial
Based on the Denial of Grief, Chang Sha wraps her hands around herself before calling out the words and extending her palms outwards. The symbol of grief appears as a shield blocking an attack striking her and anyone directly behind her. It is only a 5ft radius from her hands in all directions. (she is 5'4"). This only lasts for one attack and then disappears. If no one attacks the shield, it lasts two turns before fading away. While she is holding the shield, Chang Sha is unable to move around. At this stage, the shield is unable to tell the difference from an alley to an enemy. Thus anyone who comes in contact with it is struck with a wave of Denial lasting one turn.
It will block the full attack of someone her level, half the attack of one stage above, and only slow someone two+ stages above her level.
It can be used twice in battle.
Super Sailor Scout Attack: Grieving Anger
Based on the Anger of Grief, Chang Sha performs the same attack as before but this time, when she shield rises, it not only blocks the attack but sends it back in the direction that it came. The shield is now larger at 7ft radius from her hands in all direction. It works on levels lower than her own and equal to. Above forces her shield to take some of the damage before going back as a weaker form towards their caster.
If someone physically ran into the shield, they would find themselves growing more and more angry for 15 seconds. The level of anger depends upon how much of them hit the shield. (A finger, is not much but slightly annoyed. Whole body is pure rage)
Can be used twice in battle.
Eternal Sailor Attack: Grieving Misery
Based on the Depression and Bargaining of Grief, from Chang Sha's hands comes two orbs: one white, one blue. She sends these towards her targets (allies, opponents or herself) and each has a different affect. The white one is the orb of depression. The blue orb is the orb of bargaining. What this means is that whenever the one affected by the blue orb is physically damaged, the one that is affected by the white orb feels sadden. The more the blue one is hurt, the more grief and sadness the white feels.
This can only be used once in battle and it lasts for 30 seconds (or two posts from both sides)
