6:00AM - Waking up.
7:30AM - End of dressing and morning ablutions.
8:00AM - Breakfast had Lawr arrives at the infirmary for his day's work. Often checking vitals or when the infirmary is mercifully free of patients/victims doing other life work. He enjoys sutures etc the most :l
11:00AM - Lunch, which is spent having a small snack in the cafeteria and reading some manner of book.
12:00PM - Back in the infirmary for the rest of the day's shift. He can also often be found during downtime in the minipets holding areas checking up on them too though often with slightly less beneficial results.
2PM - 10 min break, time for a walk (suspiciously close to America's house in towns)
4PM - Finishing up for the day.
5PM - Attending the training fields for an hour's training with Butch.
6PM - Back to his dorm to make dinner for Melvin (still able to be visited if anyone was inclined for free food)
8PM - Another walk around the island - once again probably close to towns.
10PM - In bed, probably on twitter also.

I will fill out details of these if anyone actually drops by WHICH I DOUBT

Name: Lawrence Weiman (Known as Jan to everyone bar a few)
Description Lawrence haslongish almost white blonde hair with a gentle jawline, delicate complexion and extremely pale skin. He is short and older than most people encountered on the island, physically very thin and with very keen blue eyes. Of late there is something friendly and soft about his demeanour.

8pm Walkies

Rodney liked to have a little time to himself. When he was living in New Jersey, he used to drive out to trails. The island felt like a large, private community that was...mostly but not always safe. He tried to stay to the more well-lit areas.

He know he should have asked someone to come with him, but he was still a trainee and the full hunters always seemed...intimidating. And too busy for...time wasting. Like walking him places.

Everything here was a combination of beautiful and threaded with danger. He had never even been to a beach before now. When he first arrived, he had gone to walk in the sand, and watch the sinister curve of waves from dark, too-large shapes from just off-shore.

He stood out even in the evening light, a grey and pale shape on the sandy path, thinking to himself and talking softly to Seven.

8pm Walkies

Lawrence did not like being out of control of his own day, he did not enjoy any loss of control at all, and yet time after time he found himself out on the island, wandering in a way that might have seemed purposeless and random to someone who did not know him but which when looked at in relation to America's known haunts made a great deal of sense. He did not understand why he did it and by now was aware that it bordered on an irrational compulsion. It raised questions of what he would do in the world outside this island and its sheltering shields if he found himself in this strange state of mind. His rational mind said he would leave and move on, go somewhere far far away from America and this fixation but some deeper part of him dissented. In practice he wouldn't be able to, he had known it in Cael's office, he knew his own self-control or lack thereof in this regard and had known that to go with the bracelet was to die.

It was an itch which could not quite be reached and one where the only alleviation however slight was to see her, to look upon her inexplicable beauty and find himself distracted from it for just a moment, to be himself and be able to breathe.

Butch primarily enjoyed the walk simply because it was a walk, exulting in the sights and smell of the island every time as if it was all brand new. However, he too took satisfaction in the pursuit of America, believing his master that she was indeed their partner and that they owed it to her to protect her forever and that one day she would stop being "mean" and come back again, he had not been able to tell the difference between the clone and the real America and Lawrence hadn't tried to explain. He babbled and rambled in his usual fractured way as they went along, a single glowing pinpoint of light at Lawr's wrist as the watch lit up white now and then in time with his mental words.

Lawr did not often meet anyone on these walks, but as he made his way down to the beach - still dressed in his scrubs and looking a little weary from the day he'd just gone through - he spotted the solitary figure on the path, almost ghostly in their grey attire. He paused in his stride and there was a moment where he seriously considered backtracking and going around Rodney, the compulsion to see America so strong that he was not sure he could maintain a conversation at all with the other man, aware that Rodney seemed uncannily sensitive to the darkness in him. It was only Butch and his excitement which forced him to instead keep walking on, if only to shut him up.

Lick em, say hi! KEEP IM. Bite and bite. ASK HIM IF HE'S GOAT ANY ******** BISCUITS>

"Hello Rodney." he said. "Rather late for a solitary walk is it not? Do you come out here often?"

8pm Walkies

"Hello, Jan. ...Sometimes. I needed some air. I know we're not supposed to go out alone, but the moon is almost full." The sound of the distant waves almost overpowered Rodney's soft voice.

The path was brighter than normal from the natural light.

"I've just come back from the bar. Sometimes Chantelle plays, but she wasn't there tonight."

8pm walkies

Lawr inhaled a little more sharply than he meant to at the strange twist of irritation that was almost uncomfortable at the mention of Chantelle playing at the bar. There was very little in his life that Lawrence felt anything about, even that slim degree of irritation and restlessness. Chantelle however was one of them, her piano playing represented something he had possessed, something that was him and was something he had wanted. He did not react amicably to things he wanted which were taken from him and though he had chosen to give up his own hand, he had not to any extent chosen to give up the golem and the new hand this had afforded him. His music had been an outlet, an outlet for what, he wasn't sure, but there had been ways to try and translate into notes and sounds the questions which hung in the void inside him.

It was not entirely accurate to say that he missed playing the piano, he did not miss things with the richness of grief that most people lament the passing of something they cared about or enjoyed, but neither was it accurate to say he did not miss it at all. He felt the space where it had been and remarked on the mood effects of its absence.

"That sounds lovely." he said. "Pity she was not there. I used to play you know." he said. "Before ..well."

Shrugging his shoulders he said. "As far as danger goes, I suppose as long as you don't go too near the water, nothing can drag you in. Probably."

"Even the shore's dangerous? I thought we just weren't supposed to swim. She's your niece, isn't she? Were you the one who taught her? She plays very beautifully. She's been more upbeat in the last few months. When I first heard her, the sound seemed very...I don't know. Sad and searching. Lonely."

You sure you weren't projecting?

"I'm not projecting," Rodney whispered.

8PM Walkies

"There are things in the water." he explained, "I have caught sight of tentacles out there larger than a small building and I should imagine it would not be a great deal of effort for one of them to seize a solitary walker and drag them to a grim fate." he nodded out to the quiet waves, but no terrible creature raised its head. "More dangerous when swimming though, I imagine."

He looked back to Rodney as he replied to his questions, used to consciously looking people in the eyes when he lied to them. "Yes, she is indeed my niece, though she has hit quite the rebellious stage at the moment. I also suppose one could say I taught her everything she knows." he smiled, as if taking pride in this.

One comment however would not let him ignore it and he had to pursue it. "It sounded lonely to you?" he asked, with a genuine edge of curiosity before deciding to claim the recitals he knew to be his own. "When she first got the piano I loaned her some of my compositions in progress to practice with till she got sheet music of her own. Perhaps that is what you heard, it is not her usual fare."

He looked back out to the water, but the smile of curiosity didn't fade. "You are very perceptive Rodney, you always surprise me."

"Yes," Rodney grasped his sweater, bunching the fabric around his chest. "Those pieces were...pristine. Perfect. But very...apart. At least, to me they felt..." He seemed surprised at Lawr's admission.

"You wrote them? Ah! I would have liked to hear more of your work. Are you sure that you don't play anymore?"

8PM Walkies

Lawr raised a brow as the other man clarified his statements, for a moment feeling strangely visible, as if Rodney had been describing him rather than his music.

"Yes, I wrote them. And well, it is certainly not easy to play with only one functional hand. I would need to find some way around it, and golems alas are confined to Halloween which is void of our traditional terrestrial instruments." he shrugged his shoulders. "I still write music, of course, but there is something tragic in notes never realized."

Magic doesn't fix everything, either.

Rodney smiled sadly.

"Do you still give lessons?" he asked.

Lawrence nodded. "Certainly, though I would not say I was the best tutor, I do enjoy teaching. Are you interested in learning? Perhaps you could teach me a little of your own craft in exchange, as I know there is very little in the way of payment available to trainees."

"Alright," Rodney said, holding out his hand as if offering to close a Faustian deal, although his intentions were warm.

"Did you need company for the rest of the walk? Although I'm afraid I don't make for very good protection."

8PM Walkies

Lawrence shook the offered hand with a bright and amicable smile, it was a very reassuring sort of handshake and his hand was surprisingly soft and well cared for. "It's a deal then." he said.

"And hmmm." he looked up at the sky overhead. "It really is getting on the dark side at the moment isn't it? I had no real plans, I simply wanted to head out for a walk if I am honest, meeting company was simply a most fortunate boon. Did you have anywhere you were heading? I would feel the better for the accompaniment, protection or no."

He checked his watch which said that it was butch was hungry again o'clock as opposed to walkies o'clock.

"Or if you would like, you could come back to my room and join me for some supper or a drink or two, even a shower if you fancy. I know that there is a distinct lack of suitable amenities down in the basement, Melvin - my roommate - has a hunter room which I share, he does not mind visitors."

"I was just going to walk a while and head back to the basement. A warm meal sounds very good," Rodney admitted.

He hesitated, then added, "If there's anything without animals... I know on the island it's difficult."

He had been living off of cafeteria food for months, minus their one excursion. He had still not gotten used to the public showers, privacy a rarer commodity than food.

"It is no problem I assure you." he said eagerly. "And vegetarian is absolutely doable." he sounded positively keen on the idea of a challenge. "I am part of several food exchanges which ensure I always have fresh produce in my fridge, it would be an absolute shame for it to go to waste."

The very picture of eagerness, he took the hand he'd just shaken and turned back to try and lead the other man back the way he'd come, holding his hand for a few steps before relinquishing it as if suddenly aware of what he was doing. "Sorry." he said with a smile. "You do not have to if you do not want to, but I think you will like it and it will be lovely to have a guest and to get you away from that basement of yours for a time."
