Appearance Prominent features: - elongated arms, large clawed hands (the big bulky grimm arms would work, I know my art looks pretty different lol) - large, curved ram horns - hoofed feet - 'fluff' is mostly ethereal and wispy - demon-like tail, but with a wispy tip - flat chest, thin waist, wide hips - BIOLUMINESCENCE (- since she's part Bapho, part Demon, a possible smaller pair of horns on her forehead is up to the artist, but they should be the same color as the ram horns)
Color scheme: - dark grey skin - white/silvery hair - glowing aqua eyes, black sclera - glowing dapples/freckles on shoulders, knees and face, wisps also glow (I'd like a toxic green - aqua - blue/turquoise galaxy/nebula -like appearance on the tendrils) - horn/hoof color up to artist (I made them a dark teal)
Fashion: - sleeveless cropped tops (she likes showing off her stomach idk) - low-rise shorts, usually ripped/frayed somewhat - silver jewelry on horns, arms, tail and neck, inlaid with glowing stones (something complementing her natural coloration) - belts or the like are up to artist (she likes them though) - clothing colors up to artist

Personality Overall, Virus is a very fun-loving, outgoing young Nightmare. She likes to attend dorm parties, go shopping (though she almost always ends up shoplifting..) and hopes she could tutor younger students when she's a few years older. Mostly upbeat, she's prone to short bouts of depression when someone rejects her, and sometimes getting a bad score on a test also bums her out. In general she's one of the most happy-go-lucky individuals you'll come across, however. While not particularly strong physically, she enjoys exercise and partakes in it regularly - dancing being her absolute favorite form of it. She can be somewhat wishy-washy when it comes to responsibilities, which has dampened her relations with other students and made it harder for her to maintain friendships. She wishes to be surrounded by a large number of close friends - a "family" of sorts.
Positive traits - spontaneous. Want to grab ice cream at 3am? Virus is your go-to gal. - energetic. She's always up for a fun activity! - excitable. It's generally pretty easy to get Virus to join a project as long as the subject interests her even a little. - extravert. Virus likes to mingle, though on the flipside she feels empty when there are no peers to interact with.
Negative traits - kleptomaniac. Virus means no harm, but she can't resist a shiny thing. Occasionally she'll actually return what she's stolen, but sometimes she finds that too embarrassing. (Imagine that) - impulsive. It can be hard to keep up with her train of thought sometimes, and she jumps from one task to another. - flaky. Once she loses interest in something, she's quick to drop whatever she was working on and move on to something more interesting. Group projects with her tend to be a challenge because of this. - questionable morals. Virus sees absolutely no problem with "borrowing" things without permission, or sneaking into restricted areas for "adventure".
Skills/Hobbies - being light on her feet, Virus loves dance. She wishes to become a professional dancer someday. - she likes to collect various trinkets, especially ones that glow/shine. - whenever she actually feels like settling down, she greatly enjoys reading, and does well in literature. - relatively talented in magic use, but she usually can't stay focused for very long.
Likes - music - making friends - SHINIES - a good book - spicy things
Dislikes - silence - being alone - getting scolded - overly sweet things - failing classes
Reflecting on her race Being a mix of so many races, Virus isn't really entirely sure where she fits in. She's not quite a Geist, not really a Baphomet, Demon or Grimm.. She has at least a few personality traits from each, but she isn't sure which one she relates to the most, and this sometimes causes moments of existential crisis. I would like to see her make friends within each respective race she has in her, and through interaction find her place in society - or simply make her own place, accepting that she is all of these things and not focus on a single one.
Life at Asphodel Gardens Academy Virus is a relatively good student, with mostly average grades, her strength being in the more artsy subjects. Not the best team player, she has a bad habit of leaving her group hanging in projects when she loses interest, and this obviously has a negative effect on her grades. Living at the Academy doesn't bother her at all, in fact she likes the incredibly diverse student body. Now, if only there were more hybrids like her.. especially at a younger age she's had a hard time figuring out what kind of groups she should hang out in, but as the kids grow this becomes less of an issue.
Occasionally she gets in trouble for her stealing habits, but she's always quick to apologize when she actually gets caught.
Her preference for the more creative subjects led to her placement in the Academy house of Arkham, where she fits in quite well, save for the less favorable personality traits mentioned previously. She aims to enroll in Grendel University upon graduating from the Academy, to further pursue her passion for dance and other performing arts.

Backstory Virus, like most of the children at Asphodel Gardens, was discovered as a Soul Stone in the Great Cache. A rather puzzling specimen, it was a fair bit of work to actually figure out what exactly she was.
As a child, she got many long stares from confused children and caretakers for her rather exotic appearance, but this lessened as more and more hybrids began popping up at the nursery and the Academy. She was always well looked after, but the lack of an actual 'family' still left her with a slight feeling of emptiness. She hopes to make up a family of her own among her peers, but so far she hasn't been the best at making friends despite her outgoing personality. (Her less favorable habits may have something to do with this, though she personally doesn't see what she's doing wrong.. maybe someone needs to point this out to her.)
Her Geist ancestry being among the most apparent of her traits, she discovered she could fade in and out of view relatively early on. At first it happened completely at random, but over time she learned to control this to a degree and figured it was a great way to win at hide-and-seek and other games she played with other children.. not to mention it was handy for sneaking to grab extra treats - but she usually ended up getting caught and scolded for her improper behavior. However, the times she didn't get caught gave Virus a feeling of superiority, and she figured with enough practice she could practically get anything she wanted.
Being naturally agile and light of foot, ever since Virus could walk on her own she hasn't been able to resist a good beat, instantly starting to dance. While at first she was just awkwardly wiggling about, over time she's become quite the performer, and wishes to pursue dance as a serious career upon graduation. Even her appearance is perfect for putting on a show, after all!

RP Prompt Quote: Your Nightmare sees an abandoned plushie sitting on the ground by a tree in the courtyard. It looks nearly new and kind of expensive! What does your Nightmare do after they notice it? During one of her free periods, Virus had decided to head out to the courtyard for dance practice. The feeling of a slight breeze as she moved was something you couldn't get inside, after all.. and she did love how the air felt alive, and made her tendrils move in an even more lively manner than they would indoors. Heck, maybe she could impress other students with her moves and entice them to join her club, or to become her friends!
No such luck today. The part of the courtyard she'd picked was basically empty, and the few students around were either napping or playing games amongst themselves. Roughly an hour later, Virus was absolutely drained, trying to catch her breath. At least the teachers couldn't say she didn't partake in physical activity enough! Walking over to her bag to grab a water bottle, she noticed something that made her do a slight double take.
There was an adorable plush doll sitting by itself under the nearby tree, with no indicator of its owner, and no other students in the vicinity. Had someone forgotten it? Or maybe left it there on purpose? Stepping closer, she inspected the toy. It was a Jackalope doll, but more detailed and expensive looking than the ones usually given out as prizes in Hunter's Jubilee celebrations. Even the fabric felt much finer, and was that a little gemstone on its bow? Who would leave a doll like this out here? Was the owner looking for it right now? Would anyone ever find out if she just took it for herself?
The girl ran her fingers through her hair, puzzled. What would be the right course of action to take? It was a really nice-looking plushie, and she did like cute dolls, just like almost every other juvenile Nightmare out there. She had a few others in her room already, and this one would absolutely become the crown jewel of her collection. But was it right to just take it? Groaning, she closed her glowing eyes, throwing her head back. Maybe if she returned the plush, she could make friends with the owner. But where would she even start to look? There were so many students at the Academy, it seemed like an impossible task. She didn't have the patience or attention span to ask every single kid if they knew who the doll belonged to. Ugh. It really would have been easier to just keep the darn toy. But for once, she actually felt a slight sting of remorse for thinking that way. Finally, after racking her brain for way longer than she should have, she figured she would ask one of the teachers for help.
It took her a bit to locate one of her instructors, but when she finally did, she explained where she had found the toy and expressed her desire to return it to its rightful owner. To her surprise, this got her a pat on the head from the older female instructor, and they told her they'd let the owner know who found the toy once it was restored. As the teacher left, Virus stood behind, somewhat baffled. But hey, at least she'd done a good thing today, right?
