This is one book I found on the wal-mart website: Breastfeeding Facts For Fathers http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=2472998
There are two pages of books that are about breastfeeding in general on there too.
This is an article on Baby Center about the benefits of breastfeeding, coping with their feelings of inadequacy, and what they can do to participate: Dads and Breastfeeding http://www.babycenter.com/refcap/8252.html
Here's an article on Storknet that has a lot of personal accounts at the bottom: Dads and Breastfeeding http://www.storknet.com/cubbies/breast/dads.htm
Another short article on the MarchOfDimes website: Just for Dad: Breastfeeding: What can Dad do? http://www.marchofdimes.com/pnhec/362_762.asp
There's a list of other links on the Kellymom website: http://www.kellymom.com/bf/start/prepare/bf-links-father.html
And if all else fails, I just found all that stuff by doing a google search for "Breastfeeding Fathers" and there was plenty more to look at there... these were just the top few results.
Here to help! Amanda

I've been on the Baby Center one (And printed it out for him) I love that page you can find so much Info on there lol. But thanks for the outher links I'll have to look for the book at Walmart the next time we go.
Most of the books that I've seen are all more along the lines that a Woman wrote or an MD (I'm looking for laymans terms and mens POV) so I'm starting to think that print outs might be the best. I just wish we knew someone around here that he could talk to about it (another father who's gf/wife breastfead thier child) but no one I know around here has breastfeed

yeah, that'd be nice.... but it's that same problem for us too. I'm not sure I even WANT to breastfeed because it just seems to weird and akward to me... My parents raised all 3 of us on strictly formula, my husband was a formula baby, and so were all our parents. So it'd be really hard for me to see myself doing it because I wouldn't really have any family support (not that they wouldn't support my decision, just that they wouldn't know anything about it, or how to help me). My husband thinks the whole idea is really kinda gross. Especially once they're old enough to "go for the boob" on their own. cause then they start groping on you in public and that's just not cool at all. eek So i dunno. Right now I'm about 65% sure that I'll bottle feed, despite the price of formula.... but on the other hand, 35% of me is still convinced that breastfeeding is the way to go, despite it's inconveniences.
