Her name was Chloe Lydia Draymore, she was born on October the eighteenth, weighing in at seven pounds, eleven ounces. She was a beautiful, healthy little baby girl, and Raven could not be happier. They had been able to bring her home earlier in the day and it was…kind of really nice to have another person in the house. Another…very little person in the house…
Their baby. Seriously. Their baby…she was really here.
Raven was a mom…she was a mom and…in her arms was this little…little life that she had created. With some help, of course but still…
Glancing over to her fiancé and the father of their little bundle, the blonde shook her head. “I just…it’s been a few days but I’m still having trouble wrapping my head around all of this…Jett, she’s just beautiful and…I’m so excited…”
She leaned down, kissing the little wrinkly forehead. “…We should start planning our wedding now, you know. We don’t want to have her growing up with a different last name than the both of us…”
Raven looked back at Jett, smiling blissfully. “I’m good with any ideas you might have…I just…love you more than you can imagine, and I hope you know that.”

Jett gave Raven a little squeeze and kissed her cheek. He was tired, mostly because he hadn't been sleeping. He was still adjusting.
In the hospital he hadn't really slept sans am occasional doze in one of the chairs. He was either making sure Raven was taken care of, or checking on Chloe, or talking to his mother--who had gotten a smart phone specifically so she could be send hourly pictures. She was on her way back now--or, she would have been, had she not gotten stuck in the airport after a would-be minivacation.
Jett rested his head on Raven's shoulder.
"We can figure something out. You want fall or winter or spring? --if you choose Winter, don't make me stand in the snow. I can't stand the cold."
He seemed agreeable to just about anything, but he was tired. It was more than just sleep though--it was worry. As long as the baby was in Raven's stomach, he couldn't mess up. But now that she'd been born?
...He was worried.
For all his confidence, he was terrified that he was going to mess this up.
He just couldn't let it sink in that he was a father.
