Olga was multi-tasking---in that she was surfing tumblr for Outlander shipping stuff while also feeding some ducks at the pond in the park. Her bread was starting to get moldy, and it wasn't because she didn't eat it fast enough. She had a feeling it was just a bad batch from the store, but anyways, she felt bad throwing it away---so this was the answer. A win-win! She could not really waste the bread, and the ducks could eat it. Yay! She was seated on a bench at the water's edge, fingers idly breaking off chunks of bread to lopsidedly toss into the water every now and then. At some point though she had stopped, because there was an gif set of Jamie washboard abs she needed to oogle. She was then pulled out of her stupor by a honking sound. Olga blinked, and looked over to her left. There next to her, on the bench, was a duck. It was staring at her with it's beady little eyes and clearly giving her a look of excuse you, where's the bread. She stared at it for a moment long before she started, yelping as a delayed reaction and sending a piece of bread flying out of her hand in surprise. It sailed behind her, flying towards the path. Noir Songbird ...I HOPE THIS IS OK /dies

Keiran was, for a variety of reasons - most of them being that he lacked what might normally be called "anything resembling papers proving he existed" - completely unemployable, except in sketchy day jobs. Keiran was not yet desperate enough for sketchy day jobs, and so instead he set up in the park, with his guitar, and played for tips. It wasn't a particularly steady or lucrative source of income, but enough people thought the pretty boy playing guitar was worth a couple dollars that he could at least contribute towards food.
And speaking of food, he was surprised to find something pegging him in the arm - and when he glanced over, it was a piece of bread. Not exactly traditional heckler fare, and he found himself looking around for a source. The girl on a nearby bench feeding the ducks seemed a likely source.
Keiran set his guitar in its case, on top of his day's tips, and shut it, walking over behind her and tossing the bread crumb to the birds.
"I think that was yours?" He teased, lightly.Lucyal OLGA IS SO CUTE, THIS IS MORE THAN FINE

The duck gave her an unimpressed look, and Olga wasn't sure how to feel about being judge by a duck. In an effort to soothe the creature though, she pulled another slice out of the bag and then just handed it to the duck. The duck took it, waddled to the end of the bench, hopped off, and then went off swimming with the slice. "Geeze..." Olga breathed, before she let out another startled yelp as someone came up behind her and teased. She whirled around, eyes wide, and got a good look at who was there---and her cheeks turned a bit red. Hot guy. Hot guys everywhere. Hot guys all over this city. It was like the internet. "O-oh! Uh----Well----Not technically but kinda yeah----" She laughed a bit, and rubbed the back of her neck briefly. "Oh geeze---did that fly your way!? I'm sorry, guy!" She then looked horrified and embarrassed.

Kiran had to press a hand to his mouth to stop himself from laughing out loud - he wasn't really used to being able to fluster people that thoroughly, but it was definitely a pleasant ego stroke.
"Relax, it was a breadcrumb, not like, a textbook or something." Definitely there were worse things to get thrown at you. Or in your general direction. "I'm Keiran." He offered a hand, because it was at least polite to introduce himself after startling her that badly.

"Oh gosh---you're not talking from experience, are you?" Olga asked teasingly, and then immediately stood up. "Ah! I'm Olga! It's nice to meet you, Keiran!" She took his hand in a warm and firm grip, and shook it enthusiastically. "What are you up to on this day, huh?" She asked, eagerly launching into getting to know the new and interesting looking person before her.

"No, thank God," he said, laughing it off. Not that he could remember at least, and that was good enough. Especially when she was being such a bright, cheery ray of sunshine. "It's nice to meet you too, Olga," he said, and he gave her his best charming smile.
She was cute, he could flirt a little.
"Oh, iIwas just --" He waved back at his guitar case, "busking, actually," and he looked a little sheepish. "I don't really have a job,so I come out here and play for tips."

Olga gasped, and then stared at his guitar case. "I'm actually surprised you're not in a boy band or something! Or like---a rock star---" He was definitely pretty enough. She pointed at his guitar case. "What kind is it? How long have you been playing for?" She beamed at him. "Keep at it, guy! You can do it! The job market is pretty rough right now, but persistence pays off!"

Keiran shook his head. "Oh, man, I'm not that good," he said, but he was already walking quickly back to his case so he could bring it over and show her. He was thoroughly proud of it - it had been one of the first non-necessity things he'd been able to buy, with money made from day labor jobs and other quick, under-the-table methods to earn cash.
"It's nothing really special," he said, popping the case open once he was back to her bench, "but it's mine - and I've been playing for so long I can't even remember when I started." Not at all an exaggeration. "I'll find something, I'm sure." There had to be a music store or a bakery hiring, right?

"But you're more than definitely pretty enough!" She blurted, assertively at that, and then promptly turned red. Looks won over talent a lot of times, yeah? Seemed to be some people's lucky breaks. "Ever thought about being a model!?" She hastily asked, as if it'd be a good distraction from her blurting, but it really wasn't because modeling just emphasized so pretty. Olga leaned over excitedly to see the guitar, beaming as he opened the case. "Hey, nothing more awesome than a trusty instrument!" She pointed at the guitar. "What kind of music do you like to play? Can you sing really well, too?"

Keiran had to press a hand to his mouth, to suppress a bubbling-over of laughter. "No, you know, I haven't thought about it, but that's not a bad idea. I am pretty." He was not going to be shy about accepting compliments or ego stroking. "What about you? What do you do? Girl as cute as you must have all kinds of opportunities." She just made it so very enjoyable to flirt casually - nothing had to be weird.
He plopped down on the bench, with little preamble, setting the guitar in his lap. "I can sing, yeah -- I can play a little for you, if you'd like? He laughed, briefly. "Some of the stuff I'd like to play really requires an electric guitar, but I can still do some!"
