Sachiye had left the god behind. The purple lioness was fustrated that she had spent so much time with the male. She had hoped that he would court her, make her his mistress. She wasn't so disillusioned that she had thought he would take her as a mate, she was willing to settle for a mistress title, someone he came to for love and affection and in return took care of her.
Now she was travelling AGAIN. The purple lioness was tired of travelling she wanted it all to come to an end, to have a home where she was safe and taken care of. Her home as a child had been glorious she was revered for her coat and doted upon across the bored it was wonderful.

There wasn’t a part of Ruva that enjoyed being near the border. She simply needed some time to think, and since this was far from her normal routine she knew that no one would bother her. The lioness brushed her mane from her eyes, searching until she found a cool spot to lay. It was under an odd rock formation, almost like a miniature cliff, but to Ruva it might as well have been a safe hideaway. “Maybe I won’t go back at all,” she mused aloud. “Maybe I’ll just stay here, and see if they even miss me.” Doubt it. Her family was a wretched, twisted thing, but surely someone would miss her?

Sachiye's paws began to ache as the terrain beneath her feet turned from soft grassy fields to a dry rock formation. This was not okay, she needed to be somewhere that was cushy and luxurious. Sachiyea had dealth with this out in the wild stuff for long enough.
As she strolled she kept her eyes open for soemwhere to rest, she wanted to get out of this area but she needed to get off these feet for a little before she moved on. As she strolled she noticed another moving along. Sachiye's ears went back instinctively. She had spent too much time with the god of distrust it now seemed like she would never be able to trust another.
Despite her feeling of mistrust she moved towards the other female, it wouldn't hurt to talk to her. Perhaps she would have information about where Sachiye could live the cushy life she so desired.

Ruva had been planning a nice, long nap when she spotted a really bright pelt moving her way. It was obnoxiously purple, like something a cub might design, and seemed to be coming to her on purpose, which was even odder. “If you’re here to bring me back, don’t bother, I’m not going.” She said in a petulant tone. Maybe this was one of her son’s friends, come to cajole her? Whatever it was, it wouldn’t work! She looked a little too tired for that, though, but Ruva would withhold judgement. “You might as well just turn around and tell Issa I’m through with him.” Of course she wasn’t, but it might do her son some good to stew for a while.

Sachiye was immediately put off by the other lioness. It would appear that she was right to have feelings of unease towards her. She paused her step and tried to decide if she truly wanted to approach this plainly coloured lioness.
"I am not here to take you back nor do I know an Issa." Sachiye said her tone giving off a distaste for the way she had been spoken to.
"I was simply travelling and would like to have a rest. I have been travelling for quite some time and this ground sucks." she said her tone petulant.

“Forgive me, it’s been a rough morning, though I’m sure you can understand that.” Ruva rubbed her head with a paw, and groaned. When had she become so paranoid? “That boy is going to give me gray fur…” she murmured. Looking back to the lioness, she rolled her eyes at the tone and moved over some. “There are more things in this area that sucks, and all of them are worse than the ground. Sit down for a while and you might change your tune.” Ruva had never been a true fan of the hard packed earth herself, but the plains of the savannah were now her home. She couldn’t imagine anything less.

Sachiye didn't wait to be asked twice, she shuffled in under the overhanging rock. It wasn't the most comfortable of spots but it was better than laying out in the sun. As soon as she lay down she felt the pressure release. She let out a great sigh. Immediately her mood lifted.
"Sounds like your troubles are people opposed to surrounding like mine." Sachiye mused. She was willing to listen to the other lioness' woes. "Whats happening, who is the boy you are referring to?" she asked. She wasn't above being interested in anothers drama.

"My son." Ruva answered with a deep, dramatic sigh. "I only have two offspring, a girl and a boy, and for the longest time I thought they were single. Well, I start seeing family resemblances with some of the cubs I was working with, but didn't say much. They have an Uncle in the pride you know, so I thought they were his. Then the cubs grow up, one starts working with me, and I find out he's my grandson!" The indignity of it all. Ruva had never been so angered or embarrassed in her entire life. "It was mortifying. When I went to Issa to talk to him, I found out he was mated as well; to my rival." Ruva seethed. "It's just...he never knew I had a feud with her, so I can't blame him, but he hid all of that from me, you know? Hid his mating, hid his children; I'm a grandmother, for Mkodi's sake, and I only found out this past week!"

Sachiye listened to the older females story he brow furrowed. How was it possible that all this family existed, all with in the same pride and the older lioness didn't know at all. Perhaps she was slow? Not all there she was older.
Deciding to give her the benefit of the doubt Sachiye considered her next words carefully. "You must live in a very big pride if you didn't know that he had a mate and children. Perhaps you should have talked to him more often?" Sachiye was trying to be polite but to her it sounded like this lioness had took her family for granted and missed out on a chance to enjoy her family. something Sachiye didn't have a hope of doing now.

"You don't know the half of it. I think our pride is one of the largest, if not the largest. It doesn't help matters that I'm usually always at work and my son lives so far out." Beyond that, he had been very good at covering his tracks and Ruva hadn't paid much attention to the quirks in her son. She simply hadn't thought he would be deceptive to her. Now she knew better.
"When I saw him it was just for little moments and he was always the one to come visit me. I never thought to go to his den because of it. His cubs aren't too old that I can't connect with them, though. Of that I'm grateful." Feeling all the emotions she had tried to run away from bubbling to the surface, Ruva clamped down on them and laid her head down on her paws. "I don't want to seem rude dear, but I'm rather tired and would like to take my nap."

Sachiye bowed her head she could see the exhaustion waving over the older lioness. "I am going to nap too. Just a short while, I will be gone when you wake." she told the older lioness. Sachiye bowed her head down onto her paws and closed her eyes. The ground wasn't comfortable and she knew that chances are she would stiff when she woke but she needed a little sleep before she continued her travels.
