I mean the mods don't even get paid. It's like volunteering. It's stupid. I'm at like almost 20000$ a year now. Here the mods don't get paid anything. I doubt they do but I could be wrong, if they do get paid I doubt it's much.
Gaia company sucks, I know cuz I work for a corporate company as well who claims they are the fastest growing retail company in america. Dollar General. So yeah, I have experience and such, so don't mess with me.
I thought I would get the experience I needed for working for them for over a year in such so I could get a million-times better job, but didn't think I would be with them this long. Because of this I am also now getting management experience since I've been assistant manager since early Feb of 2015. Wouldn't be surprised if I became manager by the end of the year. Bill is just.....well.....who knows. I can't say anything about his health or anything so yeah. But if the worst happens, I may be manager or someone stupid like James may come in and cause crap to happen but I know billy will not make that happen. I feel he will rule the store until he literally can't anymore or like dies. He's like a king or emperor. He's not scared of anything. But he's more like symbolic ruler/manager. I feel like i am the only one doing all the labor and hard work so yeah, I'm like the real owner of the store since I do all the hard labor and stocking in crap where bill is all like "Stocking is not listed in my job discription".
Kinda dumb, Paul and James even stocked often. why not Bill? And some customers are all like they like me in stuff and all like "You are great, I'm glad billy is hiring the right people for the job". (Even though in my mind I was not hired by Bill, I was hired by Paul in late AUG of 2013, Bill didn't come until May 14 and didn't became manager til early Nov of 14.) So it's weird. Hired the right people? Me and Jenny were not hired by Bill.

I also think it is stupid that Bill got rid of the stocking days where workers would come in at 6am to work and stock in stuff with no customers and no interruptions for 2 hours to stock the fastest with no interruptions. Can't believe bill got rid of that.
Once I become manager I am immediately reinstating the 6am stocking 2 days. I mean stocking during business hours is sometimes a nightmare, especially on Saturdays where I try to stock something and stupid customer is in the way. It's like they are almost always in the way in the item I need to stock, it's a curse I know it. I can't just say "Excuse me, but I need to stock this so please move". I can't. they'll probably get mad and call corporate on me. So I don't say anything. It's cuz of stupid customers like this that no one wants to work for dollar general and how they earn all their money cuz all of their stores are soo short staffed all the time. Less ppl to pay, but people still buy. Who cares if the store looks like s**t, people will still buy even if there are only 1 or 2 employees on duty. As long as they can still be on register. Dg is this kind of company. How they make their money. Less ppl to pay. All they care about is money, not theft or stealing or anything.
I just hate it when ppl get in the way of my stocking but I don't say anything. Which is why I'd reinstate the 6am time. Urghh, wonder if Eric would have been a better manager to work for. He owns the La Luz new store now. Billy got rid of him so he woudln't take my job as the real assistant manager and make me get demoted to FT lead with AM pay. No way. So Bill tried his best to send him to the new store so yeah. I know Eric works his a** off rather than bill. So I dunno. I chose to play it safe and stay at Bills store in Tulie rather than go to La luz.
