When you are in doubt, be still, and wait; when doubt no longer exists for you, then go forward with courage. So long as mists envelop you, be still; be still until the sunlight pours through and dispels the mists -- as it surely will. Then act with courage.

mᎥᏁᎶᎪᏁ ᎪᎠᎬᏞᎶuᏁᎠᎬ School day had officially started. Everyone around the ages of 14-18 were going there to get through the high school life in hopes of going to college...or just get out of here so they could do whatever they wanted. Out of all of them; four individuals will be very important with the story that is about to be told. One of them is a Native boy who lives in the reservation. He looks better off since his Mom was the Executive Chef of a restaurant getting an annual salary of 55.6K a year (About 1K a week) and that is after getting rid of the taxes. He always wore shirts and Socks that he got from Hot Topic, Jackets from Gift Shops, and Jeans and Shoes from Goodwill. He was normally someone to keep to himself, but he was no introvert....or an extrovert. He was somewhere around the middle. There are days he just wanted to play a wind instrument and archery, while some of them are to play online videogames and go to the arcade with a buddy of his. He had long jet-black hair which was tradition for his people with a few fringes with black eyes He was going through his phone, although very limited to what he could do....he could play a game on it for 2 hours per day, but he had unlimited calling and texting in case anything happened. He sat there waiting for the classes as he was going to go and find a few criminals here and there. He had that extra money from that so he saved it for college so his Mom wouldn't have to pay for it. As he wandered through the phone, he suddenly heard some scuffling and shouts coming from the courtyard. "SHE ******** SAID NO!" The tomboy kicked the man on the face and then picked up a table and slammed him when the boy kept coming at them. The tomboy was known to be very aggressive and was not the one to back down if any 'enemy' was threatening. So basically the tomboy would walk the talk. She was known to wear a trucker's hat backwards with her short blonde hair, and blue eyes. She was known to wear baggy clothes, looking like she was not part of the middle class but from her experiences and 'travels', she was more than what her clothes said. As the boy laid there, bruised and blood on his nose. Kara then lifted him up slightly by the shirt. "When someone says no...THEY MEAN IT! GOT IT?!" She then dropped him as she left the scene with people in shock, including the Native boy sitting at the table. "I'm surprised she's not a criminal from her aggression...." He mumbled as he then happened to get a glance of someone. The girl was known as the most popular girl at school, but she kind of bullied most of the girls that weren't a '10' in her standards. So why was Mingan so interested in her? It would be hard to admit it was because Mingan liked the way she looked, and she was gorgeous-looking. If he knew her true self, it would've definitely turned him off immediately but like a man...he likes a girl by her looks and the way she strides makes it effective. Mingan watched the scene disperse but of course, the teachers demanding what had happened....but since the guy deserved it...no one said a word. Mingan shrugged as he heard the bell and decided to go to classes. Time had passed and it was time to go to Lunch. Kara was left to eat by herself below the tree. Since people did not say anything, she was not in trouble. She was eating a Subway Sandwich with a drink and chips to complete her lunch. She was contempt on her extreme introvertedness, with Mingan hanging out with his friend, Juan in which both were childhood friends from elementary school. Also Juan knew of Mingan's identity. "So where you going tonight?" "I'll be going to Area B to see if anything is going on." He and Juan had a code. Area's A, B, C, D. Since they live in a big town....the areas are either north, south, east, and west. So with that Juan nodded: "Alright, so you want me to do the normal 'homework study group' at home?" "That'll be appreciated." Mingan smiled as he then knew there will be some newspapers out about his latest capture of some criminals that had been on the loose. But what was scaring everyone...was the return of the Zodiac Killer. The Zodiac Killer was known to go after men mostly, and it was an urban version of Robin Hood for women as the victims of the Zodiac Killer had been accused of Rape, or something that brought harm and trauma to their victims. It was an act of revenge. Mingan did realize this and wondered if he should catch him....since the Zodiac Killer was like The Shaman Archer, just except The Zodiac Killer had their own way of Justice instead of the Shaman Archer turning them in to the Police and Courts of Justice. kɑʀɑ ɛʀɛɓuร

Tap,tap, tap. The keys of a rather beat up laptop clicked rapidly as a young blonde sat and wrote out yet another article on the strange happenings in her city. She was usually described as relatively quirky, somewhat of a nerd, and until recently everyone had criticized her supernatural blog as the wishful thinking of a teenage girl. But that was before everyone knew about the Shaman Archer. Rose Allen had been fascinated by the masked hero since rumors first began to trickle around the city of a man who was rounding up the evil doers that were poisoning the city. Ever since the arrow flinging crime fighter became a public phenomenon, people had given the girl a little more credit. But, naturally, that doesn't stop the high school hierarchy from thrashing out any potential threat. Rose was too much of a wildcard to be accepted by those who deemed themselves as the royalty of the school. That didn't bother Rose one bit, she was quite content where she was in the social circle. A few feet away from the blonde blog artist, stooped a rather scary looking young man. He hunkered over most of the other students, sending chills down the weak hearted with a single steely glare. He had few friends, and those he did understood to never stand in his way. This boy was Damon Wells, a transfer student whose uncle was one of the richest men in the city. Damon lit a cigarette and inhaled deeply. His lighter was out of fluid, it was all for show. Unlike most people of his age, the boy had a special talent. He could control fire. Just like the element, Damon was unpredictable, unstable, and wild. He didn't care what the rules were, if he wanted something he got it. Teachers walked by and saw the young man smoking, but they quickly walked away like they hadn't seen anything. No one told him what to do. Rose coughed and looked around pointedly at Damon. Smoking? Really? She closed her laptop and tucked it safe into her backpack before flinging it over her shoulder. She had an interview with a group of business owners for her journalism class and she did not need to be smelling like cancer. She walked over to Damon Wells, admittedly summoning some small amount of courage, before placing the burning cigarette out of his hand and throwing it on the ground to be crushed by her shoe. Listen, you may not care about your lungs and the millions of health problems you can get from a cigarette, but some of us do. Rose turned on her heal and strode off, her heart racing. Did she actually confront the scariest person in the school over a cigarette? She could feel holes being drilled into her from the glare of Damon, and she hurriedly left. Damon growled, using what his uncle taught him about self control. He met eyes with a few onlookers, offered them a rather twisted smile and then turned to show up--late-- to his class. This is why I hate women. He thought to himself as he made his way down the halls. ---- Returning for lunch, Rose glanced around the crowded area for familiar faces. She spotted Mingan Adelgunde and his close friend Juan and started walking there direction. She had known Mingan for a good while, and had unknowingly developed a crush. He was a sweet guy, always looking out for others. It was something you didn't find much of these days. Hey guys, Rose said as she neared the two, you won't believe what stupid thing I did today. The girl always did something that wound her up in trouble, it was a daily occurrence. Today, however, she had unknowingly messed with the absolute worst individual. As she was about to begin her story she stopped and quickly pulled her hoodie jacket over her head. Damon Wells had entered the area. He hardly ever ate lunch with the rest of the student body, and a few students turned to gawk. The hot headed student turned to study the area, not finding who he was looking for. That girl owed him a cigarette and then some for the trouble. He furrowed his brow, glaring away anyone who was staring at him. He sighed and ran a hand through his hair. Now she had caused him more trouble, he had to walk all the way here. He glanced about, his gaze settling upon a lone student under a tree. He made his way over to a buddy of his and watched her for a little bit, something about her fascinated him slightly. He had heard rumors of her beating up students--usually males--and he was curious to how strong she was. He smiled rather nastily to himself before turning to engage his friend in conversation.

mᎥᏁᎶᎪᏁ ᎪᎠᎬᏞᎶuᏁᎠᎬ "ROSIE!" Juan was about to jump her just for a hug but Mingan grabbed his shirt collar and pulled him back. "You had frickin' soda again did you?!" Mingan hissed a bit as Juan had to show his hands as if surrendering. This was normal among the two; Juan was the energetic, jovial person while Mingan was the calm, serious/stubborn person. With Rose there, it may seem like maybe she was the more normal than the both of them...well...she was. He will never admit to her than he was some sort of bird creature that could fly like crazy. Mingan stared at her when she said they wouldn't believe what stupid thing she did: "What did you do this time?" Mingan was a little unamused as this was normal within the three. "Either Damon or 'Connor'...which person was it?" Juan had to ask since...well....either one are not people you should mess with. They do seem like the perfect couple in a way, but the difference between them: Damon would beat anyone for the thrill of it, Connor seemed to beat people who really deserve it...they're both too different in a way. "Oh! How's your research with the Shaman dude going?" Mingan had to sigh, in all honestly...it was sad that the Shaman was in front of this girl. "Either way, both of them are people to be cautious about." He shrugged as he then happened to see the girl...a.k.a: Sarah walking past which he couldn't help but have his eyes follow where she was going. It was like he was in a trance before coming back to reality. "So.....what did you do?" The conversations will continue until the bell rang. Connor...or Kara raised a brow when she felt like she was being watched. It was unsettling so it made her wander to see who was staring. She was not amused when it happened to be Damon....the biggest punk she ever met. She rolled her eyes as she found him to be pretty annoying...and pathetic. She hated blind confidence and this boy was full of it. She just continued eating his sandwich despite his nasty smile. She almost wanted to confront him and say: "How about you learn how to talk instead of staring" but she was hungry and she was focused on getting food in her stomach. She then laid on the tree, enjoying the peace for awhile as she closed her eyes taking it all in but the bell rang almost as soon as she relaxed. She yelled out a '******** YOU' before standing up and going to her last two classes. The bell would ring once again to end the day. Everyone was relieved to know that they could relax...until 7 in the morning. With that they were left to go home. Mingan, Juan, and Rose often walk back home. It was more of a defense. With Rose explaining her stupidity, now Mingan knew she will be with him at all times when walking home. Mingan was not the type to back down so if the guy expected him to scoot over to lay a hand on Rose, he had another thing ******** coming. And if Damon did, he might make a new enemy: Kara Erebus. She was also walking home but this time all by herself. She did have to go walk the same path as them for a bit before she would turn the opposite direction to go to a home near the Catholic Church. "So Rose, we plan on just studying at my place for a bit. If you want some peace with the computer anyways." He grinned a bit, Mingan shrugged either way...his eyes kept going left and right to see if the punk was going to come at them. kɑʀɑ ɛʀɛɓuร

Damon chuckled to himself, extremely amused, when he saw Kara throw him a rather menacing glare. She had spunk. Maybe he could use that in the future, who knows what he might need done. Everyone had some dirt, and this boy was a master at using that to blackmail people into doing what he required of them. It was a little something he picked up in the gang back home. The bell rang, and Kara yelled a very much needed profanity. Damon watched as the student body trickled away to their class and stretched. I think I'm going to skip. My uncle said he wanted to talk to me about something. I'll see you later. He winked at his friend before sauntering off. Rose heard the bell and grabbed her stuff. I'll fill you guys in after school. She said before rushing off to class. She had American History and Biology next. She dreaded her science class, it always becoming awkward when the text book referenced discoveries that her own mother helped with. But the blonde generally ignored it. All she had to do was endure two more hours, then she could get some peace and quiet. The bell rang for dismissal and students flooded out of classrooms to their lockers, cars, and buses. Rose grabbed her homework and joined Juan and Mingan for their usual walk home. Yeah. Today was not my brightest moment. I was typing another article and..., the girl went on to explain what happened, I just took the cigarette right out of his hand! He's got it out for me now I swear. I could feel the hate coming off of him in waves. Am I just naturally stupid or is it the blonde hair? Rose groaned. This was the last thing she needed. Juan offered to have her come over and study and she thought about it. I wish I could, but I got some errands to run for my aunt. She just started a new shift and we need more groceries. Maybe I'll stop by later with that pop you like. She teased and poked Juan. He had an insane addiction to sugar. Why are you looking so serious, Mingan? Are midterms stressing you out? They arrived at the grocery store that was about a block from Rose's house. She separated herself from the group, pausing to wave her phone at them. She'd call them later to let them know she was safe. She hardly ever walked when it was dark. Damon returned home, a smug smile on his face. His uncle greeted humanoid brought him into his study. Damon, Damon. You know about my little...predicament. His uncle was referring to the fact that he was the city's very own supervillian. I have a little proposition for you. Now, I know that I've made you offers in the past...but consider this more of a stern request. He paced up an down the length of the room, his hands behind his back. I've run into a little...problem. See, my little friend, that blasted arrow flying bird man is taking out my little pawns one by one. Now my resources are stretched too thin. I need you, my own family, my own blood, to help me get what I want. Do it and you'll get a good cut of the profits. Don't, and I just might tell the government that you're here illegally. He turned to look at his stunned nephew. Gritting his jaw, Damon nodded for him to go on. How good are you at stealing...say...ten pound diamonds? A nasty smile spread across his face. Dusk fell upon the city and Rose briskly made her way home. The cashier had been a training employee and had eaten up a bunch of time. The blonde rushed by the nearby church, bags of groceries in hand when she heard police sirens. She turned to see a large swarm of police cars heading her direction and she instinctually pulled out her camera. A large grouping of cops surely meant some form of criminal activity--maybe even the Thunder Thief. Flashing a few photographs, Rose felt a sudden surge of heat behind her and a sudden peal of familiar laughter. She turned around, camera in hand, to see what looked like a human torch. Fire engulfed the person, but they didn't seem to be affected. She snapped a few photos, her camera shaking with her hands. Do you know what the average price of a cigarette is? The burning man said as he sauntered over.Damon chuckled, having a bit too much fun freaking the girl out. Of course he wasn't going to seriously hurt her, but the high of the night was affecting him. It's not like he had a choice, his uncle held him pretty much accountable for earning a good profit. Rose looked around for something, anything to use, before settling on the gallon of milk she had just bought. She broke off the cap before throwing whatever contents were in the plastic container and running. Oh gosh, someone help! She pleaded as she tried to flag down the cops, Damon shrugged, the milk hardly doing anything to douse his flames. It was the shark attack mentality, once you got started it was hard to stop. Maybe he'd even lure in that bird guy for his uncle to destroy.

mᎥᏁᎶᎪᏁ ᎪᎠᎬᏞᎶuᏁᎠᎬ "What have we got man?""Seems like it is a flaming torch! I am not shitting you! A human on fire! This reminds me of that guy from Fantastic Four or something? But the cops are him for some reason! It's a darkness mania today!"Mingan, or now the Shaman Archer...he just liked being called Shaman...was more quicker. With his black wings, face mask, and the wolf headdress over his eyes it was easy to conceal his identity. So he had to figure out who to go after...seems like to him the cops could handle themselves for tonight...the flaming torch seemed interesting. So he was able to get on top of the Catholic church...now with the sound a door slamming itself open. If only people knew Kara's 'Mom' was the Nun of the Catholic church. Inside are scared workers who tend to its well being, with Kara who grabbed a gun and was seeing this. She immediately got to Rosie and was pulling her away as she aimed her gun at the firing torch...man....thingy. "Who in the flying ******** is that?!" She exclaimed as she had the girl back up, Kara did not turn away from that freak....if only it was not flamin' she could touch it and kill it. She then growled at Rosie: "Hey You! How about you find a ******** different hobby?!" She was stabbing the statement toward the 'journalist' girl who was facing this...flaming man. "Who knew Satan ******** existed? It seemed like some monster in child's fairytales to keep them doing good." She did feel a bit of dread but she was not the type to give into fear easily. Mingan decided to do his work. With a short of arrow, he used its power to create some light to flash for a few seconds. And when the flashing stopped, the Shaman was in front of the guy. The Shaman was between the flaming torch and the Catholic Church. His black wings sprouted like a mighty angel and his black eyes glaring from the darkness of the headdress. "I have heard of Wendigos....Skinwalkers...and Flesh-eating dwarves....I don't think they mentioned a walking torch." He then took a sigh, this will be a long day. "Alright, you're dealing with me. Leave these people be." He then happened to eye the people, one of them had disappeared. It was Kara, who decided that she'll find the fire Extinguisher and deal with him herself. kɑʀɑ ɛʀɛɓuร Literary Freak Mingan's ability: Let's say his archery is like a Buddist Priest's power to exorcise demons. It can create force fields, destroy things, give out more damage than an average arrow. Kara I now imagine has an ability...an ability to freeze people at their place for a minute which will help kill them, the only way she could do so if if 1: their eyes are looking at her (if a fearful person), and 2: If she touches them....if that's ok.

Rose gasped when she felt someone grab her, thinking that it was the burning man. Instead she turned to see Kara, a younger girl pulling her away. She was equipped with a gun, and the blog artist didn't bother to question how good she was at using it. The tomboy exclaimed exactly what Rose was thinking, who was that? Why was he here, bothering her of all people? Kara then turned her aggression towards Rose, and she couldn't help but gape at her. She needed to find a new hobby?! How about her? She's the one wielding a gun like some modern knight. Was she actually going to kill this guy? Damon raised his eyebrows in surprise as Kara Erebus made her appearance. Damn. You are a feisty little thing aren't you? He muttered as aimed the gun she was carrying at him. He'd looked down the barrel of many a gun, but this was something else. Kara didn't seem as terrified as the other people he had faced. He studied her, his eyes meeting with hers for just a brief moment. But it was enough. Damon fell into a trance-like state, not seeming to be able to move a muscle. He was terrified, what was happening?! Suddenly a bright flash, like that of a strobe light, filled the area. His eyes readjusted when the flashing had stopped and lo and behold, there in front of him stood the Shaman Archer. Damon laughed and shook his head, this was too perfect. The very person his uncle wanted to be rid of. Ditch the two lovely ladies here? That would be rude, don't you think? Damon's flames flared viciously. But I suppose I could play around with you for a bit. Just be warned...I play dirty. He shot forward, arms flying in hopes of landing a burning punch on the Shaman Archer. Rose, having rubbed her eyes free from the after images of the sudden flash of light, was looking on in shock. The Shaman Archer had appeared and was facing the burning man, who had seemed to take the challenge on with much vigor. She glanced at her camera and snapped a few photos, ever the journalist. She was shaken to the core, however, and when she found an opening to escape , she took it. She left her groceries lying on the ground and sprinted to Juan's house. She banged on the door rapidly, glancing around the dark in fear of spotting another supernatural entity.

mᎥᏁᎶᎪᏁ ᎪᎠᎬᏞᎶuᏁᎠᎬ Juan immediately opened the door, a bit shocked. "Uhhh....hey?" He then realized from Mingan explanation of the Flaming Torch and Rose running away a few minutes back. "Here, come in. You seem terrified! What happened?" He then closed the door and called for his Moms. Yes...Moms. His parents are Lesbians. His Mom with black curly hair, strong body, and black eyes had her police uniform on, looking disappointed because she was not allowed to go with the others to deal with the 'flaming torch' which she was skeptical about. That mom was the "Dad". The other mom looked sweeter, wearing a collared shirt with one pocket and shorts. She was a zookeeper at a nearby zoo...with a short ponytail, flower accessory on her head and big sweet eyes. They also knew of Mingan's true identity as well. "What's wrong?" The Police Mom asked seeing the terrified Rose. "I think she met with the enemy." Juan muttered which made the Police Mom whispered a damn as she got to the door and locked it along with getting some weapons out. The 'Zoo' Mom ushered them to a far off room to be safe. Kara came out when Mingan had dodged the fire attack barely. She had the fire extinguisher out as she was ready to get involved. The Shaman slid on the sidewalk and then fired an arrow, its light was the only thing in the darkness besides the flaring police lights who were prepared and aiming at the Flamin Torch. "Well in your situation, it would be best to have them ditch you definitely." Kara had hidden behind the tree and was taking a few breaths as she prepared to use the fire extinguisher. When he got close enough, she will use the thing and dose the flame with strong misty water. "Come on you little b***h....Zodiac Warrior might not be here...but I don't mind being the high-schooler who kicked your a**." Mingan then flew up and decided to fire double the arrows, creating a shower of arrows at him with a lot of spiritual power. kɑʀɑ ɛʀɛɓuร Literary Freak I am assuming from your post that I have your permission and acceptance...haha XD

Rose felt a great rush a relief when Juan answered the door. I-I was walking home and...oh my gosh you wouldn't believe it. My groceries, and then cops, and then just...whoa. Rose felt light headed as she was rushed off to another room. What had happened? She took a couple of deep breaths, running a hand through her hair as she tried to sort out all that had happened. The burning man seemed familiar. His voice, the way he laughed. Rose's terrified brain tried to put the pieces together, but nothing seemed to fit. Was he a failed science experiment, some supernatural being, an alien? He was dangerous, that much she could gather, and for some reason he had pinpointed her. Then there was Kara. Where had she come from? Had she just been stalling about with a gun in her hand before happening upon the scene? Where did she go? There was more to that girl than meets the eye. Then there was the Shaman Archer appearing. Rose had seen him briefly before on several occasions. His courageous presence always made itself known in dire situations, and she had only ever managed to catch blurred photos of him. Wait--photos. That's it! The blogger turned her camera on and started going through the pictures she had snapped earlier. The human torch appeared, bright and angry. He stood out against the dark night, and Rose could just make out the shape of a face. His features seemed familiar, but were indistinguishable. She looked through more pictures until she landed on one of the Shaman Archer. She had finally captured a good shot, his being highlighted against the brilliance of the flames. He too seemed familiar, the slope of the neck and shoulders...the arms. It was like looking through an old family photo album and recognizing certain features of individuals but not the actual individual themselves. Damon growled viciously when the Shaman Archer began his attack. The arrows were something else. They weakened his flame and dimmed his ferocity so that he backed away in hopes of some relief. He threw several jets of fire at the bird man, using anger to fuel the fire. Suddenly a crack of lightning broke through the area and a dense cloud formed. Wind picked up and gusted about the area, wiping up debris. Damon's uncle had appeared. Well, well. I see that you managed to rope in our little bird. The Thunder Thief chortled. He was holding an expensive looking diamond in one hand, and held a relatively large bag of jewels in the other. Too bad, we can't play for much longer. You see, we have a schedule to stick to. The man chuckled and sent large rocks of hail towards the Shaman Archer, hoping to wipe him out.

mᎥᏁᎶᎪᏁ ᎪᎠᎬᏞᎶuᏁᎠᎬ Mingan was in shock and had to fly by. That was when immediately Kara came out. "TAKE THIS YOU BITCHES!" She fired a huge, strong power of the fire extinguisher at both of the men: Thunder Thief and Flamin Torch. She was hoping to use the mist to her advantage and kill them but instead she got some man lift her off the ground....Shaman. "HEY! THIS IS MY FIGHT! LAY OFF!""LET GO OF ME!" Kara used her leg to back kick him and it got to his groin. Mingan let out a yelp and let the girl go as both fell down; one covering the junk and the other moaning because the girl hit her back. By the time they could compose themselves, they had already vanished...with only the smell of smoke and the ground crackling from the lightning. Mingan cursed as he flew off, trying to find their trail. He vanished without a trace. Kara was sitting there, rubbing her arms and legs as nuns went to her to make sure everything was ok. It will not be, it was the beginning of a violent battle. She then had them call her "Dad' so she could go home...and then get scolded on her brashness. Juan did see some of the photos, surprised that she got a good shot of Mingan no doubt about it. He did take a look at it though. 'Wow...nice one." He commented as his phone vibrated. He picked it up: "Hello?........WHAT?! What you mean?! Are you ok?!.......Well shoot, you're not having a good day are you? Where are you?........Ok, look...we'll talk in the morning." Juan hung up the phone after a bit more of a conversation, but now it was muffled for Rose. "Here...Rose. I'll walk you home...."The two people have got away and it pissed Mingan off beyond belief. The Thunder thief was someone Mingan was trying to so hard to go after but he was a frickin strong a*****e. Mingan was only 16 after all...the Uncle must be in his 40's or 50's. So standing on top of a general convenient store, he could only jump off and fly home to go handle another school day. *** Mingan and Juan were talking at the school in the early mornings, when there was almost no one there. "He got away huh?" Mingan punched a tree out of pure anger and frustration. "Let's take it easy ok? You're good enough to be on his radar, he is kind of scared of you at this point. So let's think this for a bit ok?" Juan then patted him so he could calm down. Kara came in a little bit, a bandage on her cheek as she got scratches from the being dropped by that....bird...man...guy. Otherwise she was fine. A little frustrated though she wondered why the guy was so close to the church. That was the only reason she was out there trying to beat their a**. She even got the guy frozen from her...'hidden' ability. But no, the flying boy got in the way. She cursed to herself and decided to sit on the bench, wanting to relax before school started...it was going to be a hell of a day and she did not realize it. kɑʀɑ ɛʀɛɓuร Literary Freak Mind if a godmod and say your characters got away while my two main characters are having an...issue?

With an exuberant yell from behind them, The Thunder Thief and Flaming Torch turned around in time to see a very rowdy Kara wielding a fire extinguisher. The white foam spurted out of the nozzle, covering them and the surrounding area in a blanket of white. Then, suddenly it stopped. Damon's flames had been relatively extinguished, and his uncle quickly grabbed his weekend nephew. Now's our time to go. Fire up. He said as he glanced at the two nearby who were preoccupied. He chuckled at the situation before disappearing in a flash of lightening. Damon stumbled on his feet before regaining control of his powers and flaring up into a human torch once again. With a scowl he turned from the Shaman Archer and Kara to blast off from the ground to escape. His fire carried him like a jet pack and he disappeared into the night. Once the had returned home, Damon's uncle had it waiting for him. Do you know what kind of mistakes you have made tonight? You've disappointed me, Damon, you almost failed. Don't let your silly teenage emotions cloud your mind. You can't afford to play with the mice until you get dog out of the way...or in this case the bird. He paced back and forth before looking at his nephew and shaking his head. You're still unprepared. I'll need to train you more, teach you to become the powerful being you were meant to be. We start tonight. Damon nodded silently before his uncle came at him, teaching him how to attack. It was going to be a long night. Rose was studying the photos on her camera, trying to connect the dots. This had been a crazy night, and it was slowly, very slowly, starting to come together. Juan's phone went off and he answered. The girl accepted a bottle of water from one of Juan's mothers and took a sip, listening to her friend talk. Who could he possibly be talking to with that much excitement? Juan switched to a muffled tone and his mom came over to tend to some of Rose's small scrapes and bruises she got from sprinting to their house. When her friend had finished her conversation, he decided to walk her home and Rose didn't reject the idea. Once she was safely home she waved off her aunt's worried protests and fell into bed, her mind racing. There was more happening in this city than people knew about...and it was just the thing the blog artist was known to write about. She pulled out her computer and began to type a new entry. She spoke of the flaming man, coining his moniker as the Burning Man, and his ferocity. She attached the photos and spoke about the arrival of an unnamed help. She wouldn't include Kara's name, she was a minor after all and she could get in trouble. Then she wrote about the sudden appearance of the city's own Shaman Archer and attached the photo. When she submitted her work she sat back against her pillow and sighed. She wouldn't get any sleep tonight--she had research to do. ---- Rose sleepily made her way to her locker, bumping into a few people. She had stayed up almost all night trying to make connections, not only of the Shaman Archer, but of the Burning Man and Kara too. She opened her locker and looked at her books, trying to remember which class she had first. Was it journalism? That seemed right. She grabbed the book and put it in her bag before slumping off to find her friends. Happening upon Juan and Mingan, she gave a small wave. Good morning, guys. She greeted before stopping to watch Kara walk by. Rose wanted nothing more than to stop her and ask her all the questions she had running through her head, but no one just walked up to Kara and started talking. Damon entered the school remarkably early for someone like him. He was bruised and scratched, his uncle having spent the larger part of the night giving him combat lessons. He couldn't help but glare at Kara when she walked by, his anger rolling off him in waves, even more so for Rose who had unknowingly received the largest share of his hatred for that night. It was her fault that he got such a scolding from his uncle, she had distracted him. He fumed silently from across the hallway, flashing fury at the group of three. He wanted to get rid of all of these brats, but he couldn't. Not yet. This was going to be a long, long day.

mᎥᏁᎶᎪᏁ ᎪᎠᎬᏞᎶuᏁᎠᎬ Juan and Mingan had to stop their topic once Rose had arrived. They then had to take a breath. "Morning. How you faring?" Juan asked since he was the one who walked her home. Mingan sighed, knowing she was almost in danger from the Flaming Torch. The boy could only nod. "Heard about your predicament from Juan. Why do you always put yourself into danger like that?" Mingan asked her, just curious as to why she did it. But of course, that question could go to that stupid girl as well. When Damon glared at Kara, so did she. She was not in the mood to be outdone by some punk. She just huffed and rolled her eyes as she then just waited for class to begin. ________________ School would run by like normal, nothing unusual happened. Only this time....Kara was going to do her serial killing again. She happened to look through her 'phone' and saw the news of someone on trail. This man was known to be domestically abusive towards his family and children. A small evil smile was on her face as she knew what to do. With school over she went home to her Dad who was doing some shooting practice outside. She then went to her room in which was a secret room, in that secret 'room' (more like a box) was the knife used to by the Zodiac Warrior, a change of clothes with a wig, a gun, and a bullet vest. She wore a bullet vest under her clothes as she stuffed things in her backpack. She then got outside to where her Dad was. "I'll be in the library. I'll bring my phone.""Just be back before curfew." Curfew was 10:30pm which Kara knew she could be done before then. "See ya." She held out her phone saying he can contact her before leaving. She then went to the park and to her favorite public restroom. In the stall was also a secret box to where she could put her stuff in. With her knife and gun hidden inside the new clothes, she put on the long brown wig and the urban clothes. It would look weird but she had gotten compliments for her so she blended in. With sunglasses and a hat on, she was ready to go out and find her victim. Her daily routine is to walk around and find her victim. She could only guess where they were after all. She looked through her phone to see the newspaper again, she was able to find the information from there after a bit of exploring. She snickered as now she waited until it was getting darker. It would be around 7:30pm. She was walking around in the dark, blending into the night crowd...besides a few catcalls really. Regardless she was walking through town to go to her victim. Depending what happens; the victim will die today...or live to another day before his death. Mingan was wandering around as well, trying to find information about the Thunder Thief and the Flamin' Torch. He was in his regular clothes though since...well...his hero outfit was too obvious. He would transform later on when trouble brewed. These two people have the same thing in common: find their prey and [hopefully] get the kill. Mingan then started seeing some chaos going on so he ended up going somewhere to change into his Shaman hero uniform while Kara just stood and waited....she wondered if she should get involved...or not but then decided to walk away. But either way, the man she was planning on killing...actually was part of Thunder Thief's gang. kɑʀɑ ɛʀɛɓuร
