Elvira had run as fast as her legs could carry her. Hopefully it was fast enough…she did seem to be faster than most, so that was a real blessing.
She had ended up on the other side of the park, and for some reason, powering down just didn’t even cross her mind. The thought that she could be found by her own aura didn’t even seem to be an option. The chibi was panting slightly and flopped onto the ground, closing her eyes for a minute. She had to get home, she knew that, but her heart was pounding so fast and she just felt so…unsteady and…
All she wanted was her brother right now. Or some chocolate milk and some cookies…that had been one of the most terrifying things to ever happen. Seriously.
When Elvira finally opened her eyes, something flashed at her. Was that a mirror? Why would there be a mirror out in the middle of the park? Covered by some leaves?
Crawling closer, the chibi reached to move some of the leaves over, looking curiously at the large mirror just sitting there. It was a welcome distraction though, something to think about other than what had just transpired.

Mintaka's didn't patrol often, and after the event of the train, the younger woman had done less then she was used too. She was in desperate need of change and perhaps a walk through the mirrors would ease her?
It allowed her safe passage from one location to another and it allowed for her to be free in her movements. Patrolling was no longer in one area, it was where she felt she'd go.
Like now, she could see the thicket of woods and she moved to the mirror that would exit her in the park. Elvira would see a hand first, followed the poof of white hair and the light purple of her dress.
Mintaka's red gaze rose and focused on the girl, shocked to see someone right outside her mirror.
"P..Pardon me,"

She really liked the flower in her hair, it was just so big and bright and red and…
…and was that a hand?
Elvira sat there, frozen as someone came out of the mirror. They just crawled out of it like some horror movie monster and…and…the worst part of this was? The worst part was again, that oozing terrible feeling that was just like the one from the other girl from earlier.
Only this one was stronger.
Scampering backwards, the chibi let out a shriek of fear.
That was not what she been expecting and she didn’t even know what to do. The only thing she could think of doing was lashing out…but even her lashing out wasn’t that good but it was worth a try. She clasped her hands together, trying not to fall backwards and managed a weak whimper of “E-Elvira Wreath!”
Of course, then she promptly burst into tears, thrusting the attack at the girl from the mirror.Pixie Nyxie Sailor Elvira holds her hands together and says the name of her attack, then spreads the hands apart in a circle formation, creating a wreath of energy poinsettias. She flings these at an opponent and if they hit the/a target, the/a target will suddenly appear to be wearing a wreath of the energy poinsettias and a feeling of happiness will overtake them, lasting ten seconds. The attack can be used three times per battle.

It wasn't often that she was greeted by someone from a mirror and had she realized that she was coming out much like a horror movie, she'd be so upset. It was not a pleasant image to have.
"Oh, no, hunny sorry I am..." And just like that, as she finished coming out of the mirror she was hit with an attack. At first she was going to be irked that she didn't have time to digest whats going on. But the attack to any angry away and she was smiling at Elvira. She lowered herself down to the girl and then hugged her.
"Oh hunny, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to scare you. Please forgive me!"

The chibi didn’t even know what was happening when suddenly she was being hugged by the mirror lady. She began sobbing harder, sure that she was about to be stabbed or choked or something. Why hadn’t she just listened to Arias and not gone out alone? She was too young to die!
Because clearly this girl was just trying to get her like the other one was…clearly this was some kind of horrible trap and it was just going to keep being horrible and…
The dark senshi apologized. Actually she had apologized twice so…maybe…maybe she wasn’t going to be dead after this…
Elvira tried to at least slightly quiet her sobs, but a hiccup tore itself out of her throat and she gave another pitiful attempt at talking. “Please don’t hurt me, I just wanna go home.”

Mintaka, for all her faults, and her alliance to the negaverse, was still human. And at the end of the day, beating up a child was no better then a monster. She was not a monster.
And whoever attacked this one, left a horrible nightmare for the girl to remember. It upset her. There should be a code among the chaos. Children in war were only victims waiting to happen.
"Here now, I am not going to hurt you. I do not hurt children." She pulled out a hanky and started to dab at the girl's eyes. "Oh look at you, you're so brave though. You're out at night trying to stop the bad guys. I'm sorry, did one find you? Was it someone like me?"

Finally Elvira began to relax a little bit. Not much, but a little bit. She wasn’t quite sure if she believed this other senshi…but what else could she do? She didn’t have much of a choice so…maybe she had to.
At the question about who had scared her she nodded. “It was someone who felt like you and…and had white hair like you…but you’re stronger so I guess I panicked…” She wiped at her nose, making a face as she got snot on her gloves. Yuck.
“…She had something like this on her outfit too…” The chibi was looking at the overlay that was always so prominent on the fukus of Dark Mirror Senshi. “She was more green and black though…like poison or something…and she attacked me and made me feel really sick…and I tried to attack back and then I ran but…but you scared me I thought I had gotten far enough away…”
Her lip was trembling once again and she scrubbed at her eyes with her clean gloved hand. “I was just trying to make up with my friend…he got upset from last night and then all this happened and maybe I just should have stayed in bed all day!” By the end of this speech, the sobbing had begun once again.

White hair like her? She hadn't met another dark mirror that shared her likeness. As far as she knew, most of the dark mirrors she had met were well...limited. Elsa, Remarque, Lestath. Ubasti, Amytis, Tantalus and Damocles. Leto and Persephone? They were only a small handful of the dmc's she had met.
She wondered about this new one though, and what it meant for her.
But there was a small girl here and her focus needed to be on the child and getting her home. She would've offered mirror travel but she didn't want to scare the girl more then had been.
"I'm terribly sorry. I don't know who she is, but once I find her, I will have a talk with her. She shouldn't be attacking children." mintaka huffed as the effects of happiness faded away and she held a hand out to the girl.
"Here, Here! You are a good friend too! It's okay little one. I can take you home, or we can look your friend if we want?" Mintaka smiled, "My name is Mintaka."

Elvira just nodded. “I’m…I’m Elvira…it’s nice to meet you…and…I can get home on my own, thank you…”
She didn’t want this Mintaka to know where she lived…that was dumb and she may be young but she wasn’t stupid…at least not all the time. Sometimes she was a bit naive though…but what did anyone expect? She had been homeschooled all of her life…maybe she should go off to a real high school…maybe it would let her get some real world experience…
Elvira sighed. “My friend isn’t going to be out. He’s not that gung-ho about all of this…so I don’t know.”
The chibi senshi finally just pulled away from Mintaka and stood up, scrubbing at her face once more, before giving a shaky smile. “Um…thank you for not hurting me…I should be getting home though…so…It…it was really nice to meet you…”
It seemed like her shyness had returned…and just when she had been gaining so much confidence too…sometimes life sucked.
With another little smile, Elvira ran, again thankful for the speed that she possessed…
There was going to be a long time between now and the next time she went for a patrol though, that was for sure!

"Okay Elvira!" Mintaka let the girl go and then waited until the aura disappeared.
After that, she slipped back into the mirror to hunt down the other white haired like her.
