He was on the fields, coat missing as always-- although his glasses were on, since he had a bit of a headache. He had Aleria summoned, and was working on his grip and swings, trying out new angles and places to hold the weapon, to best utilize it. Leslie's arm, though, had a new addition: a silver shield, strapped to it.

"Heeeeeeyy." From afar, a petite figure in white coat running towards Leslie while she waved in big magnitude of high frequency. From her moving mouth, one could guess she was speaking things excitedly but it was too far away to catch what it was. However, she didn't stop talking as she got closer and closer. Finally, it was audible. "Hello Leslie, how're you? Did you go to the rescue task in Victoria earlier? The one with a giant green horse. I drove for my first time, a pink car, it was AWESOME! I found my citizen a pink frying pan as weapon blah blah blah -" The chirping didn't stop while her eyes scanned the hunter and stopped at the object on his arm. It felt like there was a little birdie flying around him cheerfully. Like the flavour from the candy tin box was what she wanted, her eyes widened in curiosity at it. "What's that, Leslie?" She slowed down, "You went to treasure hunt?!" She looked upwards to his face, then shortly noticed the glasses. "It looks great on you." She gave him a thumb up.

Leslie blinked, almost physically blown back by Shu's desire to fill him in. He edged in words around them, pushing his glasses up his nose with one finger. "Fine, no, what horse? A car, do you even have a ******** license? Does anyone here? What sort of person uses a frying pan as a weapon-- Despite the language, he wasn't that on guard. Shu wasn't a threat, so his shoulders relaxed, ever so slightly. "Yeah, uh. I just found it, I guess. Don't know what the ******** it is, honestly." He shrugged, and then looked down at his feet, scowling about the glasses comment. "I was uh, reading and s**t earlier. I just, didn't bring my case. So I gotta ******** wear 'em."

Shu knew he was one tsundere, so she simply ignored his scowl and such. Compliment was made, nothing as taking back. The petite Asian gave the shield a last curious glance before she looked at his face to reply his questions. Her friend was asking question, and she was more than gladly to answer. "Oh," she slightly opened her mouth, "You didn't go so you don't know, there was a big big equine creature in the rescue mission, class S - were you away from the island? No, I don't have a license, should I get one? You won't consider that when the GIANT horse chased after you and the civilian you saved, its vines threatened to drag you into the fog that devoured your energy, Leslie." She said without a comma or full stop, it was hard to remember she wasn't a native speaker sometimes when she chirped English like a machine gun. Leslie managed to steal a pause as she needed a few seconds to recall her memories, but just a very short time. " My car's pink, very very fast, its wheels have stars on them. It feels like playing roller coaster, I simply stepped on the pedal and the car flew like whooooosh~" Her forearm didn't rest idly but placed horizontally to imitate the car speeding along the road. "I borrowed a radio from the civilian, it took me some times to make it work. Anyway, there were Halloween denizens saving civilian as well, some were on the public channel and I met one or two students in my exploration." It seemed Shu never get thirsty from talking so much. "Leslie, you haven't watched Tangled, have you? Frying pan can be a very OP weapon, not counting the hunter weapons, in human world. You know what, Delta was a place suffered from virus, supplies were running short and so on. I knew some even used a fishing rod to fight, mine had a kitchen knife only and she was a normal human. I really really hope she's okay, Leslie." She suddenly slumped, sighed worriedly. Shu couldn't remember very well what happened next, when she woke up with a migraine, they told her she was safe but the civilian wasn't with her.

"Yeah," Leslie replied, "Arizona. Stationed at the outpost there." He jerked his head. "C'mon. Let's be productive and s**t, talk and spar. Hopefully you won't kick my a** so bad this time around, jesus ******** s**t, that hurt." Aleria summoned into his hand, and he clubbed Shu with it. "It's a wonder you didn't crash, jesus. That's ******** weird, though. Working together? That's not s**t you see every day. Were most of 'em nice, or?" Leslie thought of Reese, and their Collecting of Things of Good Quality, and wondered how she was doing. Leslie scowled. "The ******** is Tangled? A zombie movie? I'm sure if you rescued her she's probably kicking around somewhere. There's a bunch of new hunters that came from that place all over twitter like some sort of shitty disease." hp 50 dmg 8 charge 1/3

"A-ri-zo-na......" She drawled while she tried to think of the place but she got nothing in her mind. Born in Asia and never go outside the city she grew up. "I didn't mean to.....last time," she grumbled while summoned her hammer to block his stuff with the haft. It seemed that Leslie got better in fight, she could feel the vibration from her hands. Shu turned the hammer around to push him back, making the charm at the end rang. "Isn't it! I thought I would be rather stomped by the horse or crashed. They were friendly, most of them. Some were skeptical about us setting up a daycare to take care of the civilians while some seemed to have no idea about human stuff." She suddenly remembered the mission was classified and pouted. "Leslie, don't tell anyone else about it, okay?" Shu believed he won't but she had to tell him what she told him was at classified level. < You need to be learn to be less gullible and give out information, no one can be trusted silly.> "Nope, Disney movie about a brave girl using a frying pan as her weapon, she's so cool. Okay, we need to watch that together another day." She made a "Ok" gesture at the mist hunter. "Oh, I haven't checked twitter for a while, maybe I should check it. It's weird......I seemed to pass out and when I woke up, I was moved to another location. I don't even know her name....." Shu sighed. HP: 42/ 50 DMG: 2 CHG: 1/3

"Don't be ashamed," Leslie bitched, clipped, because she'd done good and she should be proud of it. What was the ******** point, otherwise? "And it's in the US. West ish. South ish." He caught part of the hammer with his new shield, skating some of the blow off, although it still collided with his ribs. Swinging Aleria again, Leslie caught her in the lag, just barely managing to glance past her Hammer. Listening to Shu talk, it sounded like she was making half of it up, frankly. "The ********?" he asked, blinking owlishly. "I won't say s**t. I heard some bits and pieces in the infirmary, but somehow, most everyone wound up fine. Which is weird in its own right." Leslie looked at his artifact, holding it up to the light. "I got this thing right after, actually. Just kinda showed up and-- What the hell is Tangled? Is that some shampoo commercial?" He took a step back. "That sounds like hard s**t. No wonder some of them have become actual hunters instead of that runic s**t." hp 48 dmg 2 charge 2/3 artifact// 2

"Aww, Leslie, you're so nice." She felt touched for their friendship showed. "I guess America...... is too big for me. If you dump me in a new place without me having the pendant, I won't be able to get back." Shu giggled and playfully stated the fact. The petite Asian widened her eye slightly unexpectedly when Leslie's shield blocked part of her attack, it gave the hunter better coverage and it looked rather nice. Z crashed with the club and thus her shield, the jolt loosened her grasp on the hammer. It almost felt like hitting a hard wall with your bare hand. Luckily, Leslie knew Shu well enough that the petite hunter seldom lie or make things up. Having his reassurance was honestly a relief, she wished not either of them getting into trouble. "That's true," she nodded, "I don't visit infirmary often, but I heard people chitchat in cafeteria, which is - one of my sources to collect information." "You're probably chosen! Like how some sentiment weapons pick their owners! That's so nice, I have yet to get my hands on an artifact." She cheerfully concluded. "It. Is. A. Disney. Movie." She threw out each word between her teeth, correcting him of the wrong idea. Shu blinked her eyes at the news, not realizing they recruited some people from the civilians. "You mean among those we saved, some become hunters?" It was her turn to attack, partially split to think about whether those civilians would be podded, she was oblivious of the force she swung the hammer. It slammed robustly onto Leslie's shield. HP: 40/ 50 DMG: 11 CHG: 2/3

"Frankly," Leslie replied, "that's true for most of us I think. I sure as ******** don't know most of the geography." Her blow came, then, and it shocked any words he might have had to say. It was oddly familiar to go rocketing backwards, landing on the grass with a dull thud, head spinning. "Jesus H Christ Shu," he wheezed, crawling to his feet, swaying a little from the dizziness. "How do you always hit like a god damned truck." Leslie shook his head to clear it, blinking a few times, and made his way back to her. "Ugh. I don't like the sound of that. Chosen. No one should choose me for anything, god damnit. And-- oh. Right. I don't really watch that s**t. Too girly. No offense." He lashed out with his club, but it barely connected. Tch. "Yeah, they've been all over twitter like a god damned disease. They're set up at, uh. Delta or something." hp 37 dmg 3 charge 3/3 artifact// 5 (two spars at once woo lol)

If Leslie agreed with her, then America's really too big. "It's more like I'm rather poor in directions." Even slightly surprised that even local people shared the same opinion, Shu was convinced that she didn't need to feel bad for it. Seeing the hunter almost sent flying by her hammer and he was cursing, the petite Asian had no idea where came the force. "I am sorry." With a determined face, she said: "I've someone I want to beat after I become a full ranked hunter, and then maybe I can put it down." Shu sighed weakly after she spoke, the last part of it might be too light to be heard from a distance. Not understanding his point, she shrugged at his words. "Why not? If it's harmless and would be useful to you?" Her mindset was always so simple, and felt happy when she was needed. "To what extent you say so?" asked Shu. As a friend, she never stop wanting to know her friend better. She pouted like a duck, "But I want to show you how amazing Rapunzel was...... Remember last time on princess island that I've got a Robert princess golem? I'm pretty sure it based off Tangled." Still pouting, Shu looked at Leslie with pitiful puppy eyes. Even his attack didn't stop her from making the "yes please" expression, it only paused momentarily to answer him back. "Victoria base? That's where we've our debriefing. Leslie, you think they still carry the virus with them?" She casually swung the hammer and once it made contact with the hunter's shield, Z informed her the charge meter was filled up. HP: 37/ 50 DMG: 10 CHG: 3/3

Leslie burned his charge, Aleria's frost spiralling around the club, seeking his arm-- and then it stopped abruptly as Shu hit him-- AGAIN-- with the force of a thousand suns. "It's a waste of my ******** time," he bitched, slowly crawling to his feet again, grimacing. His shield was at half strength already. "Ohhhh. s**t, I dunno. Shu gave Leslie a baffled expression, not sure which question of hers he was replying to. She had said a lot of things. "Delta was a dead city and I saw infected with green eyes, so possible?" She obliviously tilted her head, no one could confirm that before having a thorough checking on them. "If I find the one I saved, I can ask her for more information." She asserted that civilians with a pair of lavender colored glasses was alive and she could meet her again. Urged by her weapon, the petite Asian used the charge to deliver a strong blow that shook his shield. Upon landing, she asked: "Then how do you not wasting your free time?" It sounded a bit sassy, but when it came from such an innocent voice, one would think she didn't mean to do so. HP: 37/ 50 DMG: 15 CHG: 3/3 Using T2 BC

He grimaced, first from her answer and then from the colossal blow from that god damned ******** hammer. It always
Leslie crawled to his feet shaking his head, weakly striking back at Shu.
"That doesn't seem good. I am so ******** over all this one fish two fish red eye green eye bullshit, I swear to god." He rolled his eyes at Shu's demands. "I don't honestly have much. I sign up for basically every duty so that I don't have free time. That includes extra infirmary shifts, and covering for people there and s**t."
It said, perhaps, more about Leslie than anything else.
"Sometimes I read, I guess. But I do that during duties mostly, too."

If Z could read Leslie's mind, he would crack a smirk at his compliments. It never cease to feel a pang of ache when she seeing her opponent hurt in spars. On one hand she knew they were alright, on the other hand she was scared to use her hands to harm someone. First, she closed her eyes when swinging the hammer, then she learned to get accustomed to make her heart unshaken by it. "I don't want to be involved anymore, it's scary to lose yourself." Her strike back didn't connect, "You have no time to spend with friends? She cast her eyes down and then looked at the mist hunter, her friend. "Remember to take a break." She had no idea what she wanted to do, which direction she should be heading towards, somehow she was envy of Leslie. "R-Reading's good, what're you reading?" "We don't have much of a choice though, do we? In any of this?" They didn't, really. Duty called, and they answered. This is what it means to be a hunter. "I do, sometimes. Abbs is pretty busy these days. I see Stormy, sometimes, but mostly just the evidence she's been ******** around in my room. Jack, sometimes. You, sometimes.
