SPECIAL NOTES: Oblivionites do not have eyes obviously, so you can just make his black holes! That's fine ~ I just have no refs of him like that. XD He's a port of an OC into Magesc's universe; do what you need to if something doesn't quite fit, I'm not too picky. .3

Custom: Full
Character Name: Circe Denjison
Race: Oblivionite
Gender: Male
Path: Battler
Class: Ranger
Appearance: Circe is lithe and thin in build, and has a rather round girlish face. (He's a cutie-femboy.) Ref 1 | Ref 2 - Accurate Skin Swatch (I have other refs, but they're NSFW, so AIM me if you need better info. I can't watercolor for crap and the pixel ref is adorable but not really a good body-type reference. XD)

Personality:
Circe's personality and background are relatively simple, as he's not a very complicated person, and is often very naive and a little bit childish. More often than not, he's off to the side, quietly sitting by himself too shy to really talk to anyone else. He's usually the first to forgive, and is usually hurt first by words or insults. For very close friends, he's also the first to comfort and give advice. But then promptly lighten the mood with an awful joke of some sort.

These are double-edged swords for him. On one hand, it's great that he makes friends so easily, and that he's so laid back and easygoing he can pretty much talk to anyone, so long as they're willing to talk to him in return, and make friends. Race borders and boundaries don't necessarily stop him from seeing potential in someone friendly as a right-out friend. On the other hand, this occasionally makes him subject to ridicule and it'll fly right over his head... like a dingbat. About the only time Circe is ever actually convinced someone doesn't like him is if it's a physical threat. Words, visual cues, anything else will blow right by him in terms of "taking the hint," and he'll just think you're a quiet person. And then keep talking.

The other side to his personality is the cheeky imp who likes to make jabs and get under your skin for the sake of doing so. Or at least watching your reaction to it. He's not the best at jokes, but awful puns and annoying prodding galore. He's convinced you can tell a lot about a person by the way they handle wittiness. They either take it with a grain of salt and ignore you, get overly angry and lose their cool, or his favorite, joke back and make an equal amount of jabs and general immature behavior. It's his absolute favorite pastime when he's around people he's met more than once, and one of the ways he's managed to make a lot of friends as well as enemies.

So generally, he can either be a quiet childish softie, or he can be the annoying little brother depending on whether he's feeling mischievous.

Biography/Background:
Circe is a bit of a wanderer, and likes to travel from place to place. This started when he was younger and got itchy feet. Nothing in particular bad happened at home with his family, he just decided one day he wanted to see the world. Traveling alone at a young age is dangerous, so of course in his younger years he's a little limited with distance, but his parents are just glad he's following his dream. About the only thing that seems to bother them is his lack of contact, in which Circe is in the process of seeing if he can find a creature, possibly a Rakka, to train to send messages back and forth to them easier.

Aside from his will to wander, Circe's history is remarkably uneventful. The only notable bad thing he could pinpoint down has nothing to do with family so much as school. Bullying and the hatred between Oblivionites and Orderites leaked into his growing up, which originally tainted his taste in the fighting to begin with. He's determined now to avoid all confrontation that he views personally silly. There's more to life than war. Like, say... cake!

Thoughts on the Great Engagement:
Confused, mostly. Circe has no idea why others feel the need to fight. Especially this long. If he picked a fight with a bully who'd smacked him as a kid and had his family line carry that down for this long, it would look ridiculous; so why is it still okay now? He doesn't know. For the most part, the stays out of the situation as much as possible. If a threat seems to be aimed at him from an Orderite, he uses his flexibility and sneaky skills to dodge right on out without a word.

Thoughts on the Magescian Races:
Interesting. Most cultures fascinate him, and one of Circe's favorite things to do is learn; one of the best ways of which doing so is just sitting in a busy place and listening in. Anyone nice has the potential to be a friend. Anyone mean has the potential to be an enemy. Circe's thoughts on other races and how they interact is a simple one, if a bit naive.

Thoughts on the Dragons:
Amazing! The entire concept astounds him. While he's willing to fight and battle, he can't help but feel an occasional pang of guilt and aversion to the idea of encountering one. Dragons are powerful. It's intimidating, and something that, while he's interested in, he's likely to stay away from. Not from prejudice, just fear. If he could, he'd rather hunt something else. Circe's mild nature makes him more likely to watch in awe from afar with huge childlike eyes rather than actually go up close to even touch one, let alone hunt. It's just not in him.

Thoughts on the Khehora:
Given their appearance is very dragonlike, the intimidation makes him pretty shy and feel kind of awkward in conversation. This doesn't affect his ability to be friends though if he were to be approached and chatted to in a friendly manner; he'd love to be friends with everyone if he could, he's just sort of slow to come 'round. He finds the ability to transform to be interesting, but would feel rude if he asked one about it, even in passing conversation, though he silently thinks it's one of the coolest things he's ever seen.

JesterJinx

There are no ravens in magesc. There are other bird like creatures in Magesc, though. You can check out all the creatures here. We do have a raven like creature, that hasn't been released yet. It's called a rakka. There are also other creatures added every now and then, so it's always good to come back to check things out every once in a while.

I'd like to see a little more distinction between his thoughts on dragons and khehora. They are two different beings. Dragons are wild creatures and khehora are basically another race in Magesc. They feel, care, love, etc. Everything a magescian can do. They can also transform to khehorian. Khehorians are not hunted like dragons (though I'm sure there are those who dislike them and hunt them down) and you can't gain power from killing them (though, again, I'm sure there are those who think the opposite). So a little difference in his feelings between the two beings would be nice.

Also, a note about his appearance...I know he's a previously existing OC, and that's fine, but do realize that he will not have eyes if you make him into an oblivionite (you must have edited your post while I was typing! Ignore this first part...haha). His skin will also come out a bit darker as well, since olbivionites have dark colored skin. As long as you're fine with these things, then we're good on his appearance as well.

Tangled Puppet

Oooh, okay, that's perfect! Rakka is pretty much exactly it, I edited that. I also split up the distinction between the two and mostly reworked it because my wording was stupid. .o <-- Tired. But yeah I changed that up and added a few things, though Circe's mild nature really doesn't have any extreme on anything. And yep, darker skin is fine, really the swatch I posted was just the base tone, it comes out darker anyway when you shade it, so do what's needed. .D It's fine.
