Rules of the Game:
On the Creatures themselves:
1) This event you will be playing as a Creature of your own design! The only humans/humaniods will be the ‘NPC’ townsfolk of Habit, and are controlled by me, so using your anons or other characters in this is a no-go. Have fun with creating your very own unique Creature!
However you can still talk/use your anons in the OOC thread, and anoning is welcomed during the event!
2) The object of the game is to survive. Sounds simple right? Wrong! You are an invader to the forest around the tiny village of Habit, meaning there are natural obstacles you will have to overcome, along with the people of Habit themselves and fellow players.
3) The biology of your Creature matters! A squid needs saltwater, a reptile can’t manage its internal temperature, all things need to sleep and eat. So what does yours do?
If it doesn’t fall into an exact niche, then explain how your creature survives without. Make it feasible, but since they are not ‘natural’, I am not expecting 100% in the realms of accuracy in either ecological or biological knowledge.
Make the rules of your Creature, but remember, you have to follow the rules you set for the entire duration of the event.
There is no changing the make-up of your Creature once it starts.
Player Interactions:
1) Follow TOS (AKA, Don’t be a jerk <3)
2) The name of the game is survival, through learning and adapting your Creatures behavior in reaction to circumstances. That being said, Townsfolk AND Creatures are vulnerable and can be wounded or in extreme cases, killed. But make no mistake, the goal is not to be the last one standing, or even be the Dominant Creature (so no going Indominous Rex on the Village or other players). The goal is to see who the most adaptive is, with what they have, using the rules they have set.
3) PvP and PvNPC is allowed, but again, it is not the goal. Do not target someone because you have a grudge against them, or you don’t like their creature. This is just rude.
4) No godmodding (ie: controlling another character, making a Creature that is invulnerable to everything and kills everything in its path, or playing as an NPC). If you are caught doing so by the mods, you'll be receiving a swift PM.
[Addendum: Please refrain from swearing while playing in the event]
